    In Turkey you can exceed the speed limit by 10% . So, 82 km/h actually says that you shouldn't exceed 90 km/h.

    Oh Chris, you do such a great job of keeping the videos coming and showing us the beauty of Turkey. I understand perfectionism, but please don't spend a moment of time seizing up about deadlines and such. Highlights: swim, ice cream truck, cherries, hunting for internet signal, the neighbor who cleaned up the beach, your laughs. This was a wonderful and amazing video. (I only noticed one "wonderful' and no "amazings"😉)

    In Turkey you don’t get fined when you drive over the speed limit as long as you stay below speed limit + 10% of speed limit. So everyone would go with 99kmh on a road with a speed limit of 90. So I bet they put 82 as the speed limit so really no one drives above 90kmh!

It is one of the hidden gems of Turkey full of historic Ottoman houses lining along the river with ancient tombs on the cliff. There is also a lake nearby where you can camp. hi guys ...You have a big opportunity and you should take this advantege so what is it ? I tell you what...you are nearby of Hatay also called Antakya, is the southernmost city of Turkey, it's history dates back to ancient civilizations with remarkable monuments all around. Hatay’s spectacular cuisine shines with its uniqueness, attracting all food lovers and you should camp with Trudy at Iskenderun and Arsuz districts are good for summer seasons with its spectacular beaches..
    you dont know how much you are lucky to be neary of Hatay :)) You can also visit Hatay Archaeology Museum which is amazing and one of the most prominent mosaic museums in the world because of the exquisiteness, size, number and quality of the mosaic collection..and one more advise for you..you can visit Church of Saint Peter is one the first churches of Christianity and some argue that the church was used by the first Christians...is that all ? of course no :) you wil find at Habib Neccar Mosque which built in the 7th century and known as the first mosque in Anatolia..
    and many other historical places... you can observe that how people from four great religions live together in a harmony at Hatay... and of course with their great hospitality .. :))
    I am sorry for my grammer mistakes I am triying to best :)) You wellcome to Turkey and ENJOY your journey..

    If you are goıing to Black Sea region, don't miss Sümela Monestary in Trabzon and Uzungöl. Eat Alabalık fish near Uzungöl. Eat pide in Giresun on the way back. If you are going to Amasya, you may want to add Tokat into the list. Tokat kebap is also nice. After that visit Safranbolu houses in Safranbolu. Then camp in Abant Lake or Gölcük Lake in Bolu. Bolu is very green and has good food too. On the way to İstanbul, you may stop by Sapanca lake. If you are gonna head towards south again, I may suggest İznik(Nicea) where trinity was born. Next stop is Bursa full of early Ottoman history (Don't forget to eat Iskender!) Thats all for now ;)

Its name is Halfeti dam. Under the dam, there is a village and you will see half of the minaret. Sanlıurfa city there is the oldest temple in the world and its name is Göbekli tepe. How did you decide to pick the van you have to be Trudie? What were your reasons for picking a Fiat and not something bigger?

    • @TREADtheglobe
      @TREADtheglobe  3 года назад +1

      So .... Trudy (Fiat Ducato Adria Twin model) is actually the same van my dad had !! And he told us to check it out as Chris is 6'2.5 and was finding it hard to find a van bed that he could like flat in across the back of the van ... and he was right !! 😂🙌🚐

    Also 82kmh is exact 90kmh with its %10 tolerance. It means there is no tolerace for usual 90kmh.

    The 82km/h is just the Turkish practicality lol! Theres a law that allows 10% variance on your speed, so 82 km/h limit means 90 as the max speed 🤯
