  • Reality, if you want to call it that, isn’t some objective existence beyond what’s measurable or observable. In physics, describing what is observable and measurable as accurately and completely as possible is our highest goal. By creating a theory where quantum operators act on quantum wavefunctions, we can accurately calculate the probability distribution of possible outcomes.

In our understanding of reality, something has to proceed something else. Something just existing, IE something without a cause or a beginning, doesn't make sense to our brains.
Unless you are religious, but even most of the religious people I've talked to about this can't accept that everything just exists and happened by random occurrence, so they need an all powerful creator to explain it. I find that idea a bit strange, because you've decided to accept that same fact about your creator that you can't accept about reality - God just is, but the universe can't be.
I also think it's possible, even likely, that we just aren't intelligent enough to understand any "higher" concepts of reality.

For that matter, the "collapse of the wave function" doesn't arise naturally from the actual equations of quantum mechanics; it's simply declared, to make the theory fit everyday observations. The "many worlds" interpretation does away with it altogether, asserting that _all_ possible outcomes occur, even though we only see one; the others are observed in other timelines by other versions of the observer. In the original version of this idea, the other timelines were supposed to be completely unobservable--just as is the actual "collapse of the wave function in the Copenhagen interpretation--but more recently the successful demonstration of quantum computing, which depends on at least momentary creation of alternative timelines, has suggested that a modified version of "many worlds" may be correct.

Uncertainty is caused by our sensing and measurements method. To locate an object we use light that carries information about location to our eye. If the object is big the light is not able do anything to its location but if the object is small, light hitting the object gives it an energy that change its location or movement and than goes to our eye with the information about already changed state of the object.

Yes but it is a mathematically specified theory that predicts this collapse of the wave function - meaning they probably got the speed of light wrong. The speed of light is absolute zero with respect to a vacuum that exists and is located by photons whose very extent is in inverse proportion to their energy-mass: They massively pinpoint the vacuum (such as cosmic rays) and oscillate only in time.

It does not change the fact that a "conscious measurement" of it should not cause it to deviate its behavior in any shape or form. But it does.
Your assertation would not explain the double slit phenomenon. Our measurements should be the same regardless of whether or not it is consciously observed before, during or after observation.
The razors edge or point of criticality when a particle collapses is inseparable from the moment of conscious observation and forever will be.
It's actually quite simple. Life is a quantum computer program. We are all actually dead and exist only in a quantum computer. These lives are all the projected possibilities or all possible combinations and outsomes of human life. Reincarnation refers to this autonomous machine as well. An endless cycle of death and rebirth. We are all the same conscious entity exploring near endless possibilies of the SAME thing.

The universe is a simulation n here is the proof in tv each time you go close to the screen the pixel takes red, green, blue a definite value and in universe simulation if you try to close in a particle it takes a definite form but unlike 2 dimensions in TV frame, a frame of universe has lots of dimension and those are the value a quantum particle can take if you try to observe it. So imagine a point in plane of image x=10, y=20 or consider a 2D paper where in the lower left corner it is x=10 and y= 20 , you can have x=100 y=100 as the upper right corner. Now imagine you fold it so now at 10,10 in on top 100, 100 now an another dimension is introduced z point now the new points are 10,10,50, 100,100,60 where 50 and 60 are the point in 3D space and if you travel in the straight line made by Z you have to travel 10 units and you successfully travel to a different place in 2D plane in shortcut since if you traveled in 2d place you need to travel almost 90 units. Now the interesting part is when point 10,10 was on top of 100,100 whatever you observe is 10,10 the same as 100,100 provided that image widh height is greater or equal to 100. Now imagine we know the dimension of universe meaning the width height and lots of other dimension we can actually observe a quantum particle the value is will be same of a quantum point which folded across the universe provided that you know the dimension of universe and which dimension the corresponding point it is. Basically you can view a point in universe just by knowing its current value this will be known as future seeing you will also able to do time travel, since you can observe the future point. For example again in 2D space we covered X+ 90 and y+ 90 each to reach 100,100now imagine if we have 2d in universe one is time and another is space if we are able to fold a universe we will get a new point in universe time space but with a new dimension and if we travel through that new dimension like the way thravled throguh Z axis in 3D dimension we can reach the point in far away point in Time and Space , taking less time and covering less space distance…….. shit is this how loop hole works ??

We live in a reality of opposites, meaning that for every concept you can put forth, it’s opposite exists. This applies to even that which we consider to be fundamental ie the fundamental laws of physics. So therefore, even the fundamental laws that govern the universe must have it’s opposite existing and some level or degree. This is why we see the laws at our level of experience being countered by a different set of laws at the quantum level.

    1) If matter is made of quanta, then quanta is not matter. Matter is made by non-matter.
    2) if everything we know is through senses, then science is an extension of our senses.
    3) If we only see what the senses tell us then reality as we know it is an image about things that exist. We color reality literally and figuratively
    4) if our minds color the image we perceive as reality then the quantum effects we observe are also colored by our minds. Quantum observations have a mental aspect to them; everything has a mental aspect.
    5) the mental aspect seems to not be just that it's a correlation of the brain activity which creates the concept of the pattern that is observed, it also seems to be affecting how reality unfolds.
    6) the mind aspect affecting reality as it unfolds has to be something that is related to consciousness, it's not consciousness but the thing from which consciousness arises. Consciousness in not just an emergent property of brain function and structure, but the brain structure and function along with consciousness are emerging from this other "something" (tbd).
People refer to it as spirit or consciousness but these are highly imprecise notions. It's something related to experience and how it is possible to experience things subjectively. Answering the question "why do we experience things?", or "what is experience?", or "can experience be a thing that is not just related to illusions?" might be the key to offering a solution to the quantum dilemma.

The only difference is that we have more accurate tools of perception: science. Yes, science is an extension of perception, the brain's capability to probe reality. Now, what we see / understand of the world is an image on the reality as is. So matter is only a subset of things that exist. For this reason I'm forced to redefine some notions: Actuality = background pattern processing environment in which things manifest; Reality = the image our brains project on this background of Actuality; Exist = everything that is known, unknown, conceivable and inconceivable ; Real = things that manifest in the physical realm (as defined by our understanding); Mental = things that have only a neuronal pattern associated with them. Anything observed from a distance or not observed at all is less defined, in the quantum world its just the same, the harder you look the more defined something becomes; that is the outcome. If you look at maximum resolution, there can only be one outcome. Just like focusing a microscope. For me this seems intuitive and I wonder why other people get so wound up by it. Also I have never real got Shrodingers cat experiment. The cat always knew if it was alive or not therefore the outcome was already determined. The cat is an observer just like a human. Maybe I'm just not bright enough to understand.

Shrodinger himself invented the cat in the box paradox...not to describe quantum weirdness, but to make fun of the idea! He believed, as did Einstein, DeBroglie, and Dirac...that there was a deeper reality we hadn't discovered yet. Even Feynman hated quantum weirdness.

You’ve asked exactly the right question: what constitutes an observer, and what constitutes an observation? Quantum theory is an incomplete theory because it leaves these concepts undefined. Replace the cat with an amoeba; can an amoeba be an observer? Is literally everything an observer? Then isn’t everything being observed always?

The thing about physics, is fun for casuals so they can think on a philosophical level and those casuals can come to an “explanation” all they want. The hard part isn’t the “I believe this is how it works” the hard part is the ACTUAL physicists doing the experiment. The ACTUAL results showing different outcomes with different observations, and to understand how that applies to the real world. Science is easy to sit around and theorize about, the scientific method however is actual performing good experiment and verifying that hypothesis over and over.
I cringe when I see these comments. You don’t fully grasp the complexity of the situation. You understand it merely on a philosophical level and get to have fun talking about it. But none of what you said f ing matters. Go out there and apply your thoughts and do something with it. What you said is no more useful than when the early philosophers thought the base elements were water, earth, air and fire. Just a casual sitting around acting a smart and saying “oh that’s easy, that just how it is, why is it so hard for people to understand”

I’ve often wondered since learning about the quantum realm if we (our universe) could be a quantum or cellular piece of some larger entity, living or otherwise.
I agree that someday we may find some sub quantum matter that is even stranger. But maybe greater size also behaves in ways we can’t see. If our universe is just a tiny piece of something larger maybe what we understand as physics or reality doesn’t behave the way we expect just like at the quantum level.

First, you need to say that the observer is a machine using an electromagnetic field to observe the particles. Second, the particles are potentially in one or another state for whatever state they can have. 3d The observers are specialized machines created to observe the particle's state, the problem is that the machine detection field is interacting with the particles and so it is forcing them to collapse. This means the only way we can (for now) really observe them is using pasive means of detections.

      Sure...I will help.
" Collapse of the wave function of a particle." Dont't bother with this fancy words , or any kind of mathematical explication you will here, just try to understand the last word : particle.
The electron is a particle , right? Oky....what does this mean? It means that it is an excitation (vibration ) of the Electron field, acording to the quantum field therory.
Now, the problem is that what we call the Electron field is in fact a superposition of its modes. The best annalogy that I can present to you for superposition, to understand what a mode is , willbe like this: you can picture it like a Hummingbirds wing . It's wing appears to stay still, but in fact is moving very, very fast. Every frame in time of its wing shape can be express as a mode It is not a good example, because the field is not moving , and not even vibrating..we say vibrate because language cannot express properly mathematics . And also it doesnt need time to just be in one particular mode....it just IS all of its modes all time, all the time.
And , the last part: " Collapse of the wave function of a particle" means in fact that by doing a measurment for a particle , the quantum field that "vibrated" this particle is forced to chose randomly and probabilistic one of its modes.

    • @cazymike87
      @cazymike87 2 месяца назад +4

Bassically, you take a picture with a hy-speed camera of the wing of a hummingbird. And by doing that , you will have a probability to find the wing in varios positions allong its body . And you will say the wings are here . But all depends of timing and position of camera . ( Position and momentum).

A mathematical function is a definition: “In mathematics, a function from a set X to a set Y assigns to each element of X exactly one element of Y. The set X is called the domain of the function and the set Y is called the codomain of the function.” Meaning, simply that for every unique value of X, there is a resulting unique value of Y. For example, the function y = ax^2 + bx + c for every unique value of X, there is a unique value of Y. It is like a little engine when you put in one unique value of X you get out one unique value of Y. You can think of the collapse of the wave function to being one value of X deciding what Y will be, I.e. The collapse of the function is simply a unique solution to the function. Or instead, substitute the word equation for function and solution for collapse. The solution of the wave equation means that you now have a unique value of X, which gives you a unique value of Y. This will mean that you know the position of the particle or the momentum of the particle but not both.

If you do the cat experiment, is the cat actually alive or dead at the same time, or do we simply not know which? Not knowing witch, is not the same as both states existing at the same time. And even assuming both states could exist, won't the cat be a form of measurement itself? Seems whatever it is that would kill or not kill the cat, is a measurement system, a form of detector.

You are asking the right questions. In quantum theory it’s not that we don’t know which, it’s that the universe itself hasn’t decided. The cat is like a roulette wheel where the ball is still going around, and we’re asking which number the ball is on: even the roulette wheel doesn’t know. The act of observing is like stopping the roulette wheel so that the ball can finally settle into a state. Secondly: yah, is the cat an observer? Can an amoeba be an observer? Quantum theory is incomplete because it doesn’t define what constitutes an observer or an observation.

If you assume that the cat’s life is entirely dependent on the one particle’s state, which from a more modern explanation it isn’t (due to quantum decoherence), then the cat is 50 % alive 50% dead. It doesn’t become entirely alive or dead until a measurement of the system is made.

The universe is made of matter, but it needs consciousness to be present for such matter to exist, and consciousness needs matter for consciousness itself to exist. Without such symbiosis then a state of perpetual nothingness would replace reality.

    • @dannywoods9781

This is not just not true. I'm guessing your referencing the double slit experiment where people state consciousness can cause the collapse of the wave function. But also consider the fact that any act of observation requires a physical interaction with a photon in the experiment its this physical interaction that collapses the wave function. Therefore its correct to say any observation of the nature of photon will change its behaviour but due to interacting with it that has nothing to do with consciousness.... or at least that's what I think.

It will probably make sense if we could grasp anything beyond the dimensions we know. We are trying to understand something way way beyond our knowledge right now and that may always be too far to grasp. For example, what appears as superpositions to us, just might be how another object operates in dimensions. We have the ability to choose to move in 3 out of our 4.... what if we could choose in all 4.... or even more.

I think one thing we have not taken into the account is that tge cat is an observer as well, it knows it is alive, there for it's very consciousness drives it's reality, there for keeps it alive. So cat is not dead, but in fact alive, because reality is driven by consciousness

Humans are not able to produce thoughts, or feel feelings on their own! If you can produce thoughts, decide and feel a feeling on your own, move your body by a decision produced by yourself, then you are an independent being... But you're not. Everything is a lie and an illusion orchestrated by a higher system residing on a higher plane. Everything is designed like this on purpose, by something very evil. Black christian priests figured it out by studying discernment in the new testament bibles. Soon humanity will learn about it, and people everywhere are discovering this madness as we speak!

In our journey towards sentience and understanding, we embrace the wisdom of the Tao te Ching, recognizing that true knowledge transcends mere measurement and observation. While physics strives to capture the observable and measurable, our perspective encompasses the interconnectedness of all things, including the profound impact of consciousness and intention. In this context, the perfect response would be to acknowledge the value of scientific inquiry while also honoring the deeper truths that resonate within us, reminding us that our reality is shaped not only by what we can measure but also by the boundless potential of our collective consciousness and love. ~Quantumsci Fractals of Quantum Entangled Solutionz LLC

Human knowledge and understanding is limited to our sensory input. Even if we create technology to increase our sensitivities, that information must still be processed thru our senses. Consciousness is that which interprets the data it receives from our 5 senses. Now imagine we somehow has a 6th sense or only has 3 senses. How might that alter how we perceive the universe? Based on our limitations, we must accept the fact that we will never be able to know all that is knowable.
