the way blackpink commands the stage is unmatched they just all have the it factor. they aren’t just “good” they are AMAZING!
Two songs you absolutely need to react to, which also happen to be two of their more dazzling performances from the Coachella set, are their b-side tracks "Pretty Savage" and "Typa Girl". Both of the tracks are rap heavy, with "Typa Girl" being completely in English as well. You'd need to use color coded lyric videos to react to them so you know who is singing what, but both are some of the best hip hop stuff Blackpink has and are must-do's reaction wise, and again they both provided some of the more memorable performances from Coachella.
Their mics are always on since day 1. You guys should react to their charity concert at Le Gala Des Pieces Jaunes because the backtrack wasn't as loud as Coachella and they're singing stable as f.

As others have mentioned they do have a backing track but they sing live over it. You watched their first week when the audio mix wasn't great, the backing track was too loud and they had to really sing loud to be heard over it. I like your opinion. Not everyone writes the truth about BP and K-pop in general. They have a quiet backing track in the background. If you read up on what K-Pop is like as a business, 'live' performances, there are some things allowed that are read negatively in the west. And even here you can hear the quiet background track - you can see the difference when the live voice comes in louder. And if someone writes that it is different, that means they are 'blind' and lying. To see BlackPink's voice 100% live then watch BlackPink 'Sure Thing' (Miguel) cover. I'm a BlackPink fan, but my eyes are wide open and I don't accept everything K-Pop related without checking the facts. Good luck with that :)

For a long time they have had boys and girls as dancers in their performances. For example, you can see "Typa girl", also at Coachella 2023, in which only male dancers appear and the performance is very colorful.

They were obviously singing live all the time, you can hear it. I think what you were talking abt was their backtrack that they use it to catch breath whenever they need it, cuz they have to dance and sing and that's hard

These Dancers they have are not the regular dancers (Crazy) they are international dancers! And one performance of Pretty Savage is also available! I get where you are coming from with "you don't know what's lip synced these days"... Trust me I hate lip sync as well, as it basically means that the artist is not capable of performing his own art without using "gimmicks"... But I've been following k-pop since last 13 years and I can absolutely 1000% guarentee you that artists (idols) from YG entertainment (BlackPink's agency) never ever ever do lip sync...they do have backing vocals (which really are needed when you're doing choreography as well as live singing at the same time) but you can clearly hear their live singing & rapping

Just for your info. Yes they have backtrack playing, but they always sing live. Especially the slow songs you can really hear them and not the backtrack. Also I heard that Jisoo always wants her backtrack silent, to prove she always she sings live. Again they all sing live but some things you can't do live well and jump and down and dance around if you know what I mean. (With big crowds you tend to get hyped and sing/shout louder ) Personally because there's no MV or dance performance I like Typa girl. Should really watch that from Coachella. That was something totally new and for Coachella the first time.
Jisoo Jennie Rosé is a K-pop star and a global star at the same time, but only Lisa has the image and style of a Thai showgirl. As expected, Koreans are highly intelligent, elegant, and classy. But Thai Lisa can't be cheap jewelry... I succeeded thanks to Lisa Korea. It is a country of benefactors.

I never knew about Coachella till I saw a video of Leonard Cohen doing "Hallelujah" in 2009. This song is pretty repetitive...... hmmmm yup. Shutdown x 30 ? Good dance group though.
It may be the style of the song but I felt the performance was too languid and lacking high energy. Their vocals sounded solid and the dancing was well done. I have viewed some other videos from Coachella 2023 where the vocals sounded off but they were good in this one.
If they can start making their songs totally in English they could do a lot better and become more popular
