This was not their first time at Coachella, they first appeared on the Sahara Stage in 2019. Their first appearance proved so popular, and their world tour so impressive, that Paul Tollett (co-founder of Coachella) attended their Born Pink concert in Paris and went backstage to directly tell the members that he wanted them to headline Coachella over two weekends.
