I was drinking grey goose but switched to Titos because it's cheaper and made in the USA and is pretty damn smooth. I'm going to head home and crush some beer and titos right now.
If you ever see it on the shelf, Get some Luksuowa vodka. Around here it's a couple bucks more than smirnoff and it's one of the smoothest vodkas I've ever had. Its also one of the few real potato vodkas that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Plus it has the cool square bottle. And it's Polish, James Bond's favorite vodka country.
My wife actually did this test with me because GG and Tito's are my go to vodkas. I was able to tell the difference but I'm a big time drinker of the two. Straight by the way. Can't stand vodka mixed with anything.
Tito's would easily beat Grey Goose in terms of price and story. Bert Beveridge III (the guy who founded Tito's) went from a struggling mortgage broker who decided he wanted to distill vodka to the king of a multimillion dollar vodka empire. It's gluten-free, reasonably priced, and mixes excellently (I love it with cranberry juice.) Grey Goose was marketed and sold as a premium spirit by a billionare despite being of average quality. It is pretentious and a waste of money. Tito's makes no pretentions and is the "everyman" vodka.
Weird cuz I like drinking Tito's, was excited to try Grey Goose, but every time I drink it I feel it tastes too sweet. It's just a strange flavor on my palet. I much rather put Tito's in my drink. Is Tito's really sweeter??
Wish I could tolerate Titos. It gives me the WORST headache in life. So I have to stick with GG😒 What other vodka would you all recommend? Great video!
i just had tito's for the first time this weekend and i was never a big vodka fan because it all just taste like rubbing alcohol to me but tito's it very smooth and actually has a taste and like it
Damn my bf got the GG that was 17.99 vs titos that was 10.99 Thats so cheap we really dont care but does sting a bit hearing certified alchies saying titos was better
So if not done already should really compare the austin boys and put Deep Eddys up againt Titos. I personally just tried their plain vodka and was blown away at how smooth it was plain. Its more neutral then Titos having been distilled less, but at half the price too or at least by me not sure why DE hasnt taken off to the size Titos is or maybe thats to keep the quality up. Their big but not Titos big, yet..
Not to be that guy but it looks like the grey goose was opened way before the tito’s bottle. As we all know, products begin to diminish in flavor after opening. It’d be objectively better to use two brand new bottles to make a fairer discernment between the two.
I have been drinking Vodka for over 50 years and Titos is by far the best Vodka for the price out there and I have tried many high priced Vodkas and I always come back to Texas Made /Finished Titos and Russia and Poland can kiss my a@@
No reason to buy Grey Goose. Don't know anyone that drinks vodka straight, always a mixer so it's a waste of cash to spend extra when there are equally good but cheaper options.
I like straight vodca, but never actually have it that way, because the kind that's good straight is too expensive. Looking at you chrystal head. I'm looking at you.
@@radarreally2110 As someone that REALLY dislikes vodka straight, Russian Standard and Stolichnaya are the only two I've actually liked and would have straight again. Lets be real though, Crystal Head you're just paying for the bottle.
@@IdealUser it’s what all People tryin to act to say. I like straight drinks sometimes and sometimes I want a mix. Ain’t nobody actually enjoying it straight 24:7
First of all. They should drink both out of shot glasses made of glass. Drinking anything taste better out of glass. I still think tito's would have won, but we will never know now.
If you go to any tasting like a distillery, which we have been to 40+ they almost all serve from plastic, as long as the cups are not super cheap (like the cloudy plastic ones you get at bingo halls and baseball games) it honestly doesn't matter. If you were drinking a aged beveraged you might want to use some sort of tulip or bulbed glass with a narrow rim to help concentrate the aroma. But its vodka...
@@kybrewreview I guess the point I was trying to make is, drink both out of the same type, glass, plastic, wood, leather metal, what ever. It would make it a more even way to judge. It might be me, but Tito's definitely does not taste as good out of plastic cups. You should do the same tasting and reverse the cups, see if you get the same results.
Ikr. I always hear people talking about “notes of this” “nuances of that” yea you’ve singed your tastebuds and throat if you pick up on anything but straight burn from hell.
Tito's is the worst tasting vodka that I've ever drunk. Terrible stuff. Thank goodness it was a gift and I didn't waste my money on it. Grey Goose is the best tasting vodka that I've had. Having said that, at its price, I rather buy a whiskey. As for vodka, Finlandia is the best value.
I don't think I'll ever come across someone saying "Tito's is the worst" and "Grey goose is the best" at the same time. To say you don't like Tito's is fine, it's my personal favorite. But to say Grey Goose is the best makes me cringe. Restaurants are switching out Grey Goose for better / same priced alternatives. It's a cheap-tasting vodka.
@@Westley420, there may be better vodka than Grey Goose, but I'm not willing to spend more than what it costs to buy Grey Goose. I'd rather put that money towards a whisky or cognac. It's comparable in price to Belvedere and in my opinion, GG is better. I was gifted Tito's. If I ever get a Tito's as a gift again, I will be re-gifting for sure.
@@Westley420, here's the thing. Let's say that you are right and GG is just a basic vodka (maybe even lousy) but can charge what it does because of its packaging and marketing. Still, Tito's, if it is that good, should be able to charge the same as GG. But it can't. Maybe it's really not as good as you say it is according to the consumers.
Tito's all day
I have a feeling the first guy was testing them out plenty before the show started...
Not these specifically. But we definitely did about 30 other videos before this one.
Completely wasted

God Dam, ever since I took the first sip of titos I literally stopped drinking anything else.
Mighty fine stuff
For $5 more than absolute its not even worth questioning, titos is the patron of vodka

My favorite vodka is Belvedere...
I used to buy handles of titos but grey goose is smoother imo. Might be my palate.

What about ciroc
Your probably allergenic to corn titos vodka uses corn instead of wheat🌾
Tito's for me !
Tito's is good. Haven't had grey goose.
What is the best vodka for a Moscow mule?
You can use any mid range vodka, but we all prefer finlandia.
Russian Standard is the best Vodka i ever drank.
Tito's is definitely worth the price
Not much of a price to it. Best vodka for the money.
Maybe a cheap champagne head to head for New Years?
Great Idea!
I just did this taste test myself and 100% agree.
Tito’s is for fight nights and American house parties

Tito's made me puke my guts out after only 2 drinks.
I’d love to see you guys try Silverlake vodka!

Not sure.

Can you do New Amsterdam Peach Vodka? Its my new go to vodka. Thanks.
Check out out Facebook recent pick-ups.

Cheers

You talking about a mixer, or mixing the vodkas?
@@kybrewreview No he's talking about poring the vodka in your mouth than pouring your mixer in your mouth and moving it around like mouthwash. /s
