These games arent entirely historically accurate but are still fun. They also have connections to Paradox so it shouldn't be surprising the Empire of Sin is the same way.
The saddest thing about this review is that what you guys see is not really the proper review for this game, this was take 5, yup the first review was brutal and hilarious, I did not hold back on anything. I then did 4 more with each one getting tamer and tamer until I got to this one, I watched it and thought, yes that one will not get me demonetised. Sure the score was the same on all the reviews and the points were all the same but it was the venom and the piss taking that were cut out. I am incredibly frustrated now doing my job, I know that I can't be free to say what I really want or I will lose my income. I really wish I had tons of donators on the like of Subscribestar so that I could give the two fingers to the demonetisation threat and not give a shit. Maybe next year I will do a video about it and see what I can do, it just sucks that censorship exists like this in 2020.

Mate the best thing is to fight this political correctness filth without faltering. The moment you give in they win. Too much of that has happened over the last few years and they keep creeping in everything we do or say, Films, Games, Music, Books, Series etc As someone else mentioned, you can create a parallel personal page then setup links from your RUclips Channel where you can be as brutally honest as you need to with certain videos. Never forget you have influence with a significant number of subscribers including myself, don't become tame like the mainstream reviewers that tend to spew out pure excrement on a regular basis for the masses. Dr Jordan Peterson is a great reference, he has fought the system.

This has been my best year. Stop looking at AAA games, look to the indie scene. So many good games this year, holy shit. And ofc, Cyberpunk. God I hope it's good!
Sounds about right for something involved with Paradox. It's like there are one or two of the most creative game designers on their staff, but their products get polluted as they travel down the line of less talented departments. Don't worry though, with Paradox there is sure to be about thirty, $20 plus DLCs.
Xcom reskin, that's gotta be good, all the testing, market research has already been done for this type of game, all we need to do is deliver on the artwork, few new mechanics and a decent story. Well bollocks.

Mack. I remember as each new generation came around I’d be impressed by something I’d never seen before. Maybe the ai in a game was very smart. Or the physics engine was in depth and interactive. Maybe you could shoot certain body parts on enemies and they’d react properly to it. Or maybe you’d injure an enemy and one of his mates would leave cover to go drag the injured guy back behind cover. I remember thinking “wow. In the future can you imagine the immersion and the depth games will have”. I’m not saying I am not impressed or into graphical improvements. I think that’s just something that should just progress with the times. But I miss that discovery of a new impressive feat of gameplay. Something unexpected. I’ve played some great games the last few years. There are good games that come out. But I really miss the ingenuity that went into game development and I think young people now have missed out on that element of turning on a new game and being wowed by something new. There was a game called Omerta City of gangsters that came out a few years back, looks to be very similar but has none of the elements that seem to trouble this game.

This game reminded me a lot of "Gangsters - Organized Crime", an Eidos game from 1998 (with a brilliant intro) that seems very much to be an inspiration for this one. GOC also had some problems (for start one had to guess the game mechanics because there was zero instructions), but it was fun to play, and I was starting to have the expectation this would be a remake of it. We just had gears tactics and wastelands 3, both fantastic pacing for turn based strategy. Gears was simple and polished Consolified but not butcherd for PC (Like most ports-backs are)., and wastelands had greater depth of gameplay meta, but was a buggy blunder in multiplayer. Both nailed it though imho. Let’s hope they can patch out the tedium and today’s wokeness?, with this one's sins!...I’d like to see the mandalorian get its own turned based RPG. It’s good to see this genre shine again though, even if, in this instance, these arn't the droids we’re looking for.
That's exactly how I feel too. The only thing games companies are achieving by inject all of this woke sh!te into their games is putting vast swathes of gamers off buying their games. Sadly, there's still millions of braindead consoomers out there who buy these games regardless, so games companies just carry on doing it and also lowering the quality of their games each year. Watch Dogs Legion is a prime example of this. Most games these days are literally just cash grabs.
the problem about Empire of Sin is that it has a very broken economy just buy swill to other factions disguise it as whiskey and sell in to minor faction and you now have unlimited money strategy

There is a Premium Edition, Deluxe Edition and 2 expansions coming. It's a pity more effort didn't go into the release product rather than the usual nickel and diming of customers. Another one I will buy the Gold/GOTY/Complete edition of in a year, during a Steam sale, for £4.30.
Mack, this is every Paradox game ever released. There will be 2-3 DLCs that fix all the issues and make it fun. In about 18 months this will be a great game.....

There was a game called Omerta City of gangsters that came out a few years back, looks to be very similar but has none of the elements that seem to trouble this game.

This game reminded me a lot of "Gangsters - Organized Crime", an Eidos game from 1998 (with a brilliant intro) that seems very much to be an inspiration for this one. GOC also had some problems (for start one had to guess the game mechanics because there was zero instructions), but it was fun to play, and I was starting to have the expectation this would be a remake of it. Thanks to your review, I see it is not, and I am as sorry to hear that as I am grateful to you by showing it. Thank you for your good public service.

We just had gears tactics and wastelands 3, both fantastic pacing for turn based strategy. Gears was simple and polished Consolified but not butcherd for PC (Like most ports-backs are)., and wastelands had greater depth of gameplay meta, but was a buggy blunder in multiplayer. Both nailed it though imho. Let’s hope they can patch out the tedium and today’s wokeness?, with this one's sins!...I’d like to see the mandalorian get its own turned based RPG. It’s good to see this genre shine again though, even if, in this instance, these arn't the droids we’re looking for.

That's exactly how I feel too. The only thing games companies are achieving by inject all of this woke sh!te into their games is putting vast swathes of gamers off buying their games. Sadly, there's still millions of braindead consoomers out there who buy these games regardless, so games companies just carry on doing it and also lowering the quality of their games each year. Watch Dogs Legion is a prime example of this. Most games these days are literally just cash grabs.

the problem about Empire of Sin is that it has a very broken economy just buy swill to other factions disguise it as whiskey and sell in to minor faction and you now have unlimited money strategy
So worth sticking around for the end credit fiddle. :Haha

Love how Mack roast the games.. so satisfying
There is a Premium Edition, Deluxe Edition and 2 expansions coming. It's a pity more effort didn't go into the release product rather than the usual nickel and diming of customers. Another one I will buy the Gold/GOTY/Complete edition of in a year, during a Steam sale, for £4.30.
City of Gangsters is out next year. Hopefully that covers the ground this one should have.

Mack, this is every Paradox game ever released. There will be 2-3 DLCs that fix all the issues and make it fun. In about 18 months this will be a great game.....
