@@luigiganggamernumber1tpc It sounds like a v8 because it's a crossplane crankshaft, so it naturally has a deeper more rumbley sound. And most cars can't really sound like this simply because the engines are WAY bigger and have significantly lower rpm limits.
@ChristianMedina-xx7xm It has no fairing, you sit upright, and it isn't geared for top end. You can ride it on the highway but you wouldn't want to drive across the state with it.
Cross-plane generally refers to the R1's crank in Yamaha's context... And higher in terms of Mustang's Coyote v8 and Shelby 350's flat crank! So yes it's easier to relate and understand when you say it's a 270° parallel cylinder engine
