Being a +20 yr. member of the STLE and working specifically with liquid and gas filtration for even longer, I support better filtration where needed, and in the case of engine oil, improving the ISO code. I won’t get into asking how they certify their claimed level of filtration (what recognized independent body verifies his numbers?), as there are many claims by some Mfrs. with a lot of inconsistencies and similar. In short, products like this appear wonderful and sound wonderful at best, yet a step improvement of particle size and count certainly can extend the life of rotating equipment.
