This is amazing now I know what kind of grease is the best one for the nylon gears and I just bought a G scale 4065 Rio grande caboose lot of pieces are missing from the roof part like the two lanterns the top vent and the long stem stack and the black plastic wood details where the ladders are so I made my own wooden walkways for the roof out of corn dog sticks and painted it black and it looks like the original ones I’m so glad I went to carpentry class lol I just need the lanterns and I want to make it light up instead of dummy ones and the vent and stack
And the locomotive I bought a ways back that screw and washer that holds the red wheel on at the 2:34 and 2:49 mark it was missing and trying to find another one is impossible to find the original one because I want my locomotive with everything on it not having missing pieces
What was the blue wire for in the old style motor block?
old style motor blocks tradtionally use 3 wires, blue was not a traditional colored wire used.
I recently purchased an LGB 20212 with chugging sound and smoke. It ran well for a few days and it stopped all of the sudden, the front light still turns on, but the engine does not move forward. It still runs in reverse. Could this be a motor issue?
please contact us directly at Trainli
I am having this same issue. Did you end up getting a resolution to this?
I have the stainz locomotive 20212. I cannot find a manual anywhere and I need parts. This set has huge sentimental value. And I simply cannot afford to lose it. Can you help? I need a wheelset and motor.
Did you ever get help?
Manuals and parts PDFs may be found on our webpage, Trainli.com under the drop-down menu Resources then LGB Info. we offer complete service on most G scale locomotves.
good info, but sorry, the dude creeps me out ...
Apparently you havent been to a train swap meet.
Live and let live.
Thanks for your insulting and useless comment, ahole. An excellent tutorial on how to maintain LGB motor blocks and this is your take?
@@miguelborromeo6010lol nice one. Nearly as disturbing as the audiophile brigade 😂 I'm joking...
