not sure if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my brother these days xD
Very well done video. I just bought the Blue Yeti and loving it. I use for my streams and everyone loves it. I will buy this one next year. Just cause.😸
Dude! Great review! I would love to see how you set it up and what your presets are when you're actually gaming. How to get rid of the types and clicks. That'd be really appreciated!
This might be something I can cover in a later video. Thanks for the comment. Its a great mic. Discord also added a new feature that blocks back ground noise.
Why does it say it’s $400 on amazon if RUclipsrs say it’s $170 please help me if you know where to get it cheaper because the Blue Website says it’s out of stock.
I can’t find any experiences online, but if you have the chance, I’d greatly appreciate your help: How snug/tight (or ‘loose’) was/is the micro-USB connection on the bottom of your microphone when you first got it? I noticed after unboxing a few days ago that the micro-usb chord has a slight, side-to side ‘wiggle’ while plugged into the port when being moved at all. I notice a lot of micro usb devices do this in general, but I was curious to know your experience. The port itself seems stable (although I’m not sure how to identify a loose port), as it’s brand new, but I’m not sure if the slight wiggle I’m describing is cable related, port related or just the usual design (it isn’t built to have the most tight connection), etc. I’m also unsure of how difficult/easy it is to damage a brand new micro-usb port, so any help about your experience would be of great help to me if this comment finds you. Excellent review! Thank you.
I know this comment is about a year old and you've probably talked to other Yeti X users by now, but I just wanted to let you know that my micro-USB chord wiggles side to side when plugged in, too. Must be part of the design.
Great review! I'll probably stick with the standard Blue Yeti due to the price difference. I do have one question: Is the Blue Yeti X compatible with PS4? I heard the I believe it was the Blue Yeti Pro wasn't compatible with the PS4 due to the extra features or something like that but I might be wrong.
I have a question. If I plug in my headphones in the jack on the bottom, will I hear in game sound and say friends talking in discord? Or will I only hear my voice?
Hey I recently got this mic and need some peripherals. Do you have any arms filters or shock mounts to recommend for it. The arm in the description is sold out
Hello. Sorry for not replying earlier. Rode and Blue both make great arms. Check those out. I will update my description sometimes this week. Thanks for the heads up.
nope. you just connect it straight to the pc :D, but I wouldn't recommend to plug the headphones in these.. headphones that require an amp should always plug into an amp and then to the pc :P
Yes I think that is a great combo as well. It’s can get expensive though compared to most gaming headsets. Thanks for watching. Maybe I can test it out soon.
If all your video's are this high quality your pretty underated,
I also plan on buying the blue yeti X in the not so distant future.
It looks so slick but from what I’ve heard about the snowball mics I was worried but your review made me so it so thanks for clearing things up
You are welcome!
Great review, Stephen!
I recommend you turn down the music levels a little bit in the logo intro. Just a bit too loud compared to your voice levels.
Thanks for the feedback. I will do that.

@Torin Carl Yea, have been using instaflixxer for since december myself =)
Very well done video. I just bought the Blue Yeti and loving it. I use for my streams and everyone loves it. I will buy this one next year. Just cause.😸
very good review man, thanks
Great review, this is probably one of the best Blue Yeti reviews i have ever seen.
I agree I enjoyed his video
great review. thanks, I think I will get one of these based on your review.
TY for watching!
Its' great just ordered it this week!

I think you set the gain too low, it was muting your voice too quickly

It's because of COVID-19, most prices on Amazon or any website go up. Either company wanna make more money or everyone go online shopping, sad reality

Hello. I honestly do not know the answer to that. Sorry.
@@StephenHD That's ok, I went with the regular Blue Yeti for PS4.
no its compatible
do you recommend blue yeti for ps4? I'm thinking of getting it for that
Were you using the yeti to record your voice in the very last part of the video or did you have a second mic where the camera is?
Hello. Starting at about 5:10 when testing the mic the volume was lousy! Are you checking everything in post production?! The rest is fairly helpful.
15 mic volume is too low, might just be me though, but the presets were fine.
Just quick question. Do you connect and plug your headphone or headset to yeti x? Or plug the headphones straight to the pc?
What is your attack and hold time and all those settings?
how mute keyboard sound?
Where can you download the software? I tried downloading the one from logitech and after 10 hours its still installing ☹️
what monitor stand is that? i will have a look at your other videos see if it is there.
Hello. If you look in the description I might have listed links to my desk stuff. If not I will do it tonight.
what is the name of the background song in your video?
I have a question. If I plug in my headphones in the jack on the bottom, will I hear in game sound and say friends talking in discord? Or will I only hear my voice?
Did u figure it out? I’m trying to see if I can use my earbuds for CS-go and use this mic for game chat
According to my friend who does have it, yes you will also hear in game audio and other people talking, not just yourself
Can you connect this yeti X to an iPhone or iPad ?
Are you using Windows 10 or 11? Their website hasn’t been updated since Windows 8.1.
what's the app for this mic ?
Why do they have controls on the back and the front?? It makes no sense to me.
The real question is, why not?
Where do I put the pop filter?

Can you connect the blue yeti to the ps4
yes
i cant get the mic to be recognized by the Hub or sherpa , any ideas ? 😖😰
wonder if this issue was fixed lol
5:45 Separate!🙏🏻
so does this mean I can use the mic as an amp/mixer? Meaning I can connect the mic to my PC and connect some Sennheiser/Bose straight headphones?
nope. you just connect it straight to the pc :D, but I wouldn't recommend to plug the headphones in these.. headphones that require an amp should always plug into an amp and then to the pc :P
Greetings, can you tell me if this Yeti X Microphone is Dynamic or Condenser? Thank you.
Condenser.
I think in 2020 people should buy an xlr mic with an interface I recommend the blue ember with a goxlr mini
Yes I think that is a great combo as well. It’s can get expensive though compared to most gaming headsets. Thanks for watching. Maybe I can test it out soon.
You should only buy an xlr if you're planning to stream or record, most games and apps reduce the quality by alot.
we have enjoyed, well worth its money
Can i hear my own voice without lag? I was going to order the gsx 1000 so i can hear my own voice what should i get?
Can I use this microphone with my speaker below the monitor (behind the microphone) when I'm doing conference calls or will there be feedback?
depends how loud the speaker is
Yeah its probably get to use with headphones or even ear buds over speakers.
Does anyone have an explanation why the yeti X is being sold for over twice its price on Amazon? On dell, the same mic costs $170
A lot of stuff is out of stock right now due to COVID-19. Might have to wait a bit before you see normal pricing and inventory levels.
what software are you recording your voice with
I use Audacity
Jordan hey quick question some one told me to just plug in usb and im good to go, does the yeti only work with in a software?
whenever i go to download a custom preset, it disappears and i cannot use it
plz help
I am not sure if I can help you. Contact their support page.
Can you play games with this mic
I can’t talk in game chat why
Will this mic work on PS4 or iPhones?
not on iphone but yes for ps4
It works on both iPhone and PS4. For iPhone you need a lightening to USB camera adapter from Apple. For PS4, it’s plug and play.
Jared from Silicon Valley??
Yeah, what's up with no USB type-c port? and how needs that distracting led lights?
They aren't distracting. And, the USB port... I think it's good as it is.
best cod player in the world here
hi
Ghub wont detect my blue yeti X
welp R,I.P
I saw a lot of reviews about how this mic breaks easy
That’s not good. For the most part microphones do not break on me. I am very careful with my stuff as well.
Get some sleep
