Love this real talk, Kenya! Your vulnerability is inspiring and helps us confront our own emotions🎉

How do you handle emotional triggers and what strategies work best for you?
Great question! For me, it’s all about mindfulness and self-awareness. My first step is recognizing when I'm being triggered and taking a moment to breathe before responding. Dancing and music always put me in a better mood and helps me pre-process my thoughts, and I also find that talking things out with a trusted friend can be really helpful. Everyone's different, though, so it’s important to find what works best for you. How do you handle them?
How do you think we can create a safe space for open conversations about emotions and mental health in our communities
That's a great question! I think it starts with leading by example, that means being open and honest about our own experiences, which encourages others to do the same. Creating safe spaces also involves listening without judgment, educating ourselves and others on mental health, and cultivating an environment where vulnerability is seen as a strength, not a weakness. What are your thoughts?
Are you from La?
