For as long as I can remember, I've always been a bit of a TNG/Picard snob and thought nothing would ever change that...until I happened to stumble across this 'little' video. This brilliant video introduced me to the most bad-ass and epic of all captains, and I am eternally grateful. Kate Mulgrew put her heart and soul into Captain Janeway and just owned everything about this character. Thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece, amongst your many others!
Love this! A tribute to Janeway who never shied away from getting her hands dirty. Especially LOVED the sip of coffee in that pause in the music. Brilliant and SO Janeway. Great video set to very fitting music.
I would also like to award bonus points for the "coffee break" at 2:01.
I think that Kate and Janeway have something in common with the coffee thing ! And I might have something in common as well because I too drink coffee as well!
DAMN GIRL. "Epic" is the best word for this. I award Possum a bag of possum treats for the concept, and I award you 10,000,000 cupcakes for pulling it off with such style - in glorious widescreen, no less. I got little shivers on my arms. High five! It is true - you've always been extremely good with scene selection and timing.
That was awesome. Janeway is badass, and that came across in this vid.

I really like this vid, but pity is so dark.. it wud have been better being left in color without the pink overwash.. and being lighter so we can see her better . Excellent one so far of janeway :)

In some parts I can't really see what's going on. I wish there was more of her interactions with the Borg. And some of future Janeway. But I do like it. A lot. Plus it's hard to summarize 7 seasons in 3mins, that's no small feat. I certainly never tried it.

@SuperMoofie The darkness serves a purpose. Janeway's life in the DQ wasn't light and cheery. It was dark, and cold, and difficult. The color tweaking I'm actually quite fond of; but like they always say, you can't please all of the people all of the time.

As I said before, it's impossible to please everyone. I'm quite fond of the color, as is the person I made the video for. And that's really what matters to me.
