You weren’t kidding! The deep lavender dried very dark! I love the composition and two different varnishes really makes the multicolored ‘land’ pop against the dark purple ‘river’! OR the matte ‘Deep Purple Dragon’ and Her Multicolored FIRE! B~}
Olga, I like how you applied two varnishes, gloss and matte, to enhance this painting. Do you have a course on how to apply varnish and what the best varnishes are? I have all your courses now except for the epoxy resin because I'm not interested in that process. Your courses are easy to follow and apply. I look forward to your next course! Aurora Mary
That violet negative space drying so dark made all the difference. Made the blowout colors really vibrant. Adding the defining white lines really helped with transitioning and composition. You always seem to know how to make the paint do what you want it to do.
You're now my every Saturday morning routine since I'm always prepared when everytime you post something also stunning as usual the violet really makes the vibrant colors stand well against with the orange glad your being more clean as usual

Ooh, it was beautiful the way you had it on your table. When you hung the painting with the energy going horizontally, Wow, that made it even more striking. The 2 varnishings makes the energy come out of the canvas. ❤😊

I think the colors are fabulous and I love the layout. I liked the violet color when it was wet, but when it dried so much darker, it really made the blowout sections pop. Love this painting!

Olga, Initially I questioned how the painting would turn out when you started blowing all of those colors together. I just couldn’t see the vision you had for the painting. Once you began to make the touch ups and sharpen the lines around the negative space and add the thin white lines, I was surprised at how the painting transformed. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful! Composition is SO important and SO difficult to get right, IMO. Especially on really big canvases (like 3' x 4' type). Any tips going forward are always welcome Olga! 😊
It's beautiful as always. When I try to blend a lot of colors, I get a blob of nothing. I have a hard time blowing out the colors, maybe I take off too much base color to start with. You are very talented, I love everything you have done Olga.
Hi Olga! Love the concept! I’ll most definitely give a shot at something similar. I also like how you use different varnishes. I’ve been using different varnishes on the texture pieces I’ve been doing recently 😁
I was a little sad because the middle had a peacock bird vibe/shape to it before you finger swiped. And i felt like that bird shape could have been enhanced to be magnificent. Oh well.
It’s funny cause it really goes to show that you can’t please everyone. I love the finger swipes and if she hadn’t added them, I would have felt like there was something missing lol. Art is so subjective! 🥰🥰
@xochitzherrero860 not only subjective but art is also objective. We look at an art piece and feel something such as the lady above was loving the bird vibe of it and ypu the finger swipes. That not only what we see which is subjective. But also what we feel when we see it. Which is objective. A good piece will make people feel something and see differnt thibgs too. So I guess she's amazing. She just did that! I love her artwork too!
I actually liked the painting before the blowout😊 but beautiful after as well. would you ever do a painting and not blow it out or would it feel unfinished?
I love this idea of two different varnishes… When you do it, are you taping off the areas or do you just have just enough on the brush to make sure it doesn’t flow anywhere… I don’t know if that makes sense but I’m just trying to figure outis it thick enough or it doesn’t go to the other area?
