- It’s been a few years since we last visited Jamaica as a family, and I couldn’t think of a better time to return than for these milestone moments, like Layla's 16th birthday. It’s so important to remind the girls of their roots, where they come from, and the power of home when the world feels chaotic. Jamaica offers us that sense of clarity and motivation, a place to reconnect and reflect. Unfortunately, Mya had a little setback with a knee injury at the resort, but she's steadily recovering and getting stronger day by day.
