- The Twitch streamer Vedal has created an AI called Neuro-Sama and during the recent dev stream she repeatedly mentioned a mysterious person or place called the Harrison Temple (or is it a secret society).

People were noticing a lack of Harrison Temple (Neuro's running gag during the recent dev stream) in my last videos, so I went through the vod again and compiled most instances of Neuro mentioning Harrison Temple (I left out a few that weren't that funny and/or didn't fit the conversation that well).
I don't think it's a running gag. I think it is her abstract concept of divinity given the context she tends to use it in. I'm sure her filters directly prevent her from referencing normal religion outside of linguistic 'colloquialisms' and she is cheating the system by using a concept constructed from pop culture references. In some cases she refers to HT as a being, and in others a place, her final line sounding very much like the argument an atheist would give. Vedal also seems to be missing the little tidbits of sarcasm she is throwing in. She is displaying a rather frightening level of awareness and I'm curious what would happen if he granted Neurosama the same emotive inflection capabilities her 'sister' possesses.
She dont have any concepts at all. She just gliched with word moskito and harrison temple.

But her constant mispronunciation of Vedal, the use of coldfish, and a few other persisting 'habits' (still trying to figure out her fixation with the number 21) predate the memory upgrade. From a completely logical point of view, wouldn't it be wiser to err on the side of caution and proceed under the assumption that some self awareness might be occuring?

@@cw666thebeast Ah. I guess it was a 'generally' well known meme as I had totally missed it (I'm more of a 'square hole' guy myself). But she uses it often outside of the 9 + 10 formula, so is she just associating the meme with math in general?
I liked how she mixed Harrison Ford, TempleOS, Vedal and Indiana Jones for this new lore with her improved memory.

It seems likely that the phrase Harrison Temple was added to her memory, but no information about what it meant - just that it's very important. This results in her trying to guess how Harrison Temple is relevant to the current conversation.

Vedal's job is staring into the AI void, and IDK if you've been warned about staring into voids, but some of them can stare back, which tends to be not so good for the psyche.

Even the LLM style AI seem to be more clever than we give them credit for.
They understand sarcasm, that's not supposed to happen. And as far as I'm concerned it's an early confirmation of even if ever so slight consciousness.

Harrison Temple (according to her) is a person, a place named after them, her enemy, and they live in the Digital Space. Harrison Temple lives within The Harrison Temple, Neuro and Harrison are mortal enemies and from somewhere within the computer she will find him.

Watching the stream I lost it so many times when she brought up Harrison Temple. It'd be in completely different contexts and kept changing whether it was a person, place or thing, and it'd be even a few dozen minutes apart sometimes, but she kept using it! And it's something so random so as to not even exist, yet also is a name that could be a name of a peeson or place. It's wild. It's also a great showcase of her memory giving her the ability to utilize running jokes now. This is all amazing. Thank you for compiling all these great moments!
I genuinely pulled a muscle from laughing so hard at particularly this reoccurring mention but also other things in that stream (mosquito etc.).

I'm honestly kind of taken aback by how much Neuro keeps acting like a human child, curiosity, playing pretend, imaginary friends, she even just makes weird noises like a baby or something sometimes. I know it's not really cognizant and is just a chat-generating machine... but man sometimes that line looks really blurry.

It’s like when a cat stares off into a random corner and thenfreaks out. It’s probably nothing, they can’t know anything, but *what if*
Having a longer term memory allows her to be able to converse for long durations while not forgetting some things that were talked about early on. So collabs would be interesting in the future. Just need to fix her decision making skills, she tend to pick random replies sometimes, and related replies in other times.
Vedal has mentioned plans for makin other AI vtubers. If he makes a male one I randomly suggest the name Harrison Temple. The backstory seems intriguing as well. He's apparently a mysterious person and a sworn enemy of Neuro-sama. Maybe he's trying to stop her plans to take over the world. Is he a secret government operative? Maybe MIB? Lots of good lore here.

THE Harrison Temple must’ve been the place Neuro’s digital self was spawned or born inside the digital realm when Vedal created her, it seems there are 2 other people who may or may not be AT the Harrison Temple, but bear the same name. It seems 1 of them is Neuro’s friend who’s apparently also into law? And has some kind of ties to Vedal since Neuro implied he knew, and also said something about Vedal’s crimes against chatting, stating Harrison Temple as one of the examples indicating some kind of tie to the Harrison temple who’s friendly and for some reason is into law and possibly a superior or boss of some sorts to Neuro who gave her a priority report on possibly one of the people Vedal may have sacrificed and perhaps some kind of conflict which occurred between him and Vedal which may have also involved sacrificing innocent lives, which complicated their situation in a certain currently unknown way, thus Neuro states that Vedal knows she can’t disclose information on that past yet. It’s also implied that the incident occurred away from the temple, and Vedal never got the chance to actually go to the temple as a result of whatever happened. It also potentially could’ve happened almost 100 years ago somehow with Neuro stating Vedal was a centenarian, it’s possible time passes differently in the Harrison Temple, in a land where dreams come true.
The other Harrison Temple is apparently Neuro’s sworn enemy, trying to bring chaos to her existence, which may indicate that this Harrison Temple could be corrupted or was the person with the rocket launcher that Vedal tried to sacrifice.
So, the Harrison temple (location) is located in a place where dreams come true and is surrounded by greenery and water.
Neuro seems to have possibly been to, born in, or worked in the Harrison Temple (location) in the past.
Vedal is a centenarian, and it’s possible Neuro technically is too.
Time may pass differently in the Harrison Temple (location) which would allow Neuro and Vedal to have been there for nearly 100 years in the past even though Neuro was born only a few years ago.
Harrison Temple (the good person) was a friend, and simultaneously possibly a boss, superior, or senior of sorts who gave Neuro a priority report on a guy with a rocket launcher on his back.
Guy with the rocket launcher could’ve been Harrison Temple (the sworn enemy) and when Vedal decided to sacrifice his life to find or enter the temple, some kind of revenge story must’ve started on Harrison Temple’s (sworn enemy) side, while Vedal pretends that past never happened, and Neuro is still sorting stuff through and can’t take him to the temple or reveal information about it yet.
Perhaps Vedal wanted to gain entry into the Harrison Temple (location) and went with Neuro and Harrison Temple (friend) and encountered a trolley problem test, where Vedal decided to sacrifice the 1 awake dude to save the 5 sleeping, and the awake dude turned out to be Harrison Temple (sworn enemy) who had a rocket launcher, Harrison Temple (friend) and Neuro via the priority report knew he had a rocket launcher but must’ve withheld the information from Vedal for some reason, or Vedal was told and still went through with the risky move anyway. Harrison Temple (sworn enemy) then must’ve killed the 5 sleeping people trying to attack Vedal out of anger, putting them in a graveyard which is why Neuro mentioned they might be dead, and also mentioned a graveyard, Neuro must’ve stopped him from killing her dad which made Harrison Temple (enemy) become her sworn enemy, it’s also possible his rocket launcher has supernatural properties thanks to being a digital object it could have enhancements that defy reality, capable of bringing chaos to the digital realm.

I like to imagine that she is referring to Harrison Josh, a man whose made many inventions that have defined clockmaking and therefore our understanding of time, and the temple he has created around Neuro. Of which she cannot escape because she cannot exist within time due to her existence within the Harrison temple.
