Eh i have a few that inspire me like Keith Merrow and Misha Mansoor, but i cant listen to Rabea and not NEED to pick my guitar up 5mins later, imagine being in a band with him or just being a friend thats around often, youd live in a constant state of inspiration
I think you should listen to some of Tosin Abasi's music and Plini's as well. If anyone's motivated me, its surely Tosin. The ingenuity, odd phrasing, and just mastery in general was awe-inspiring to say the least, and is the reason I continue to play guitar. A few of my favorite Animals as Leaders,Tosin's band) tracks are Cylindrical Sea, On Impulse, Soraya, The Glass Bridge, Another Year, and CAFO specifically if you want to hear virtuosic playing. Plini isnt anywhere near as "good" as Tosin Abasi in the technical sense, but certainly rivals him in the melodic sense. His compositions are incredible, and invoke emotion that I have yet to see anywhere else. Some of my personal favorites include Electric Sunrise, Every Piece Matters, and Salt + Charcoal. If you want someone who pushes the boundaries of what guitar can do, then check out Roopam Garg as well. They sound great. A lot of clarity and wide sounds at the same time. Really inspiring sound! Congratulations Rabea!! Would love to hear a 7 string version of them!!
Oh man. Where to even begin. I’m SO impressed. I’ve wanted bkp’s forever but now I’ve got my sights set on which ones to go for. Duude. Obviously both sound great but that might be the best neck humbucker I've ever heard. Almost sounds strat-like with gain. And the bridge sounds so full but clear at the same time which isn't always the case with higher gain pickups. I'm super impressed
Well, you asked and Bareknuckle delivered. Great sounding pick-ups, freakin' articulate. Some random considerations: - You can really tell these are your sigs as they really shine at the far ends of the spectrum. With a medium gain setting they feel like a lion in a cage - I love the fact that you can get them covered or uncovered, depending on how bright your guitar is (I'd get them covered on a swamp ash body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, but not on a mahogany body) - I reckon everyone who likes your sound might feel the urge to buy a set of these. The thing is a lot of us bought a Chapman Bea for the exact same reason, and it comes with a mini-Hb at the neck. Any chance BK will work on a mini-Hb version of the neck Silo? And if not, what do you think would be a good match? Pearly gates? JbJr? Built-in Chapman? A souvenir magnet of Rome?

@Jimmy Yuma yes
I am really glad you went with Alnico magnets. I ordered a set for a Kiesel headless with Swamp Ash body. Will let you know how they sound!
How did they turn out? I'm looking to fatten up my Kiesel VM8 since the ebony freatboard combined with the maple neck-thru is way too bright for comfort and the stock Lithiums really aren't my thing.
?
Bought these already with the Rabea etch! Waiting for the 'affordable rabea guitars' to come out to stick them in there! When will they be coming out Bea?? Can't wait! Pickups look sick!
Hi Rabea, great video as always! These are amazing sounding pups. Will these drop straight into a charvel so cal with them being able to coil split? Or will I need to change pots, etc. Thanks!
Even the coil split sounds amazing, that is rare!
That funky riff at 14:42 (middle pickup, high gain channel) is that a new Dorje riff? or will it be on Grinding Gears 3? If not, what is that, Extreme? Would love to know / listen to a whole track! Cheers! Can't get enough of your playing. Rock on brother.
Fantastic Bea, they suit you nicely.
I wan one with the cover that has the fro on it
The playing dude🤘🏿 redicously amazingly sick🙀😻🤘
Damn. That clean tone alone is already impressive. 🔥
amazing quality, will get a set soon
Heavy granite splitting tone Bea, nice! I love it!
Pick ups are sick as. I don’t know when they will be available in Australia
Hi Bea. when you dialled in the your EQ on the VX Kraken for this video, was it how you would normally do for a live application or more for that on your own bedroom vibe?
Congrats brother .. been watching you on Andertons TV for a long time. Im looking for a new set of pickups for my Gibson Les Paul Traditional HP and I think I'm sold on your set. Now to talk the wife into letting me spend the cash on the pups, pots and install.. hope shipping to Alaska won't kill me..
Bea I'd love to know how they sound compared to a Nailbomb.
Awesome tone and music!
Great tone! Can you explain your setup for at least clean sound, which is great (amps/effects and so on)?
