I think you should listen to some of Tosin Abasi's music and Plini's as well. If anyone's motivated me, its surely Tosin. The ingenuity, odd phrasing, and just mastery in general was awe-inspiring to say the least, and is the reason I continue to play guitar. A few of my favorite Animals as Leaders,Tosin's band) tracks are Cylindrical Sea, On Impulse, Soraya, The Glass Bridge, Another Year, and CAFO specifically if you want to hear virtuosic playing. Plini isnt anywhere near as "good" as Tosin Abasi in the technical sense, but certainly rivals him in the melodic sense. His compositions are incredible, and invoke emotion that I have yet to see anywhere else. Some of my personal favorites include Electric Sunrise, Every Piece Matters, and Salt + Charcoal. If you want someone who pushes the boundaries of what guitar can do, then check out Roopam Garg as well. My personal favorite of his is Naked Waves of Awareness, and you'll see why after just one listen. The man can play sweep harmonics, nuff said.

Duude. Obviously both sound great but that might be the best neck humbucker I've ever heard. Almost sounds strat-like with gain. And the bridge sounds so full but clear at the same time which isn't always the case with higher gain pickups. I'm super impressed

Well, you asked and Bareknuckle delivered. Great sounding pick-ups, freakin' articulate. Some random considerations:
    - You can really tell these are your sigs as they really shine at the far ends of the spectrum. With a medium gain setting they feel like a lion in a cage
    - I love the fact that you can get them covered or uncovered, depending on how bright your guitar is (I'd get them covered on a swamp ash body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, but not on a mahogany body)
    - I reckon everyone who likes your sound might feel the urge to buy a set of these. The thing is a lot of us bought a Chapman Bea for the exact same reason, and it comes with a mini-Hb at the neck. Any chance BK will work on a mini-Hb version of the neck Silo? And if not, what do you think would be a good match? Pearly gates? JbJr? Built-in Chapman? A souvenir magnet of Rome?

That middle position (full) and that neck position (split) grabbed my attention. All the settings sound good overall, but those two are ear candy. Hey dude, I recently installed a Silo bridge humbucker in one of my guitars and it's hands down the best pickup I ever played!
My guitar now sounds exactly how I wanted it to. Awesome high gain grind and grunt when playing palm mutes, best clarity in the midrange I ever heard and a nice sweet high end that just sits perfect in a band mix.
I play a Fujigen Telecaster style guitar with 2 humbuckers in a low tuned (C standard, dropped A#) Doom/Sludge band. I use an Orange Brent Hinds Terror or Laney AOR amp with a Boss SD1 as a cleanish boost. I'm looking forward recording my bands new album in September using these pickups.
As a neck humbucker I installed a BK True Grit and these two pickups work very well together.

Just listened to the sound clips on BKP's website and watched your video. Wow...just wow. I have never really been a fan of Alnico pups, because I feel like PU manufacturer's tend to make them sound too warm, pretty and oldschool, but these things are perfect. The stuff I personally play and listen to is something between Black Metal, Deathcore, Djent and Progressive Metal, so I'd need a pickup, that can sound cold and harsh, but also really pretty and glassy in the clean department and the rhythms need to be able to be harsh and abrasive (the Black Metal part), while at the same time being able to sound bone-crushing, aggressive and just mean, disgusting and evil (the Deathcore and Djent part). I have a set of SD Nazgul/Sentient in my 8-string right now and I absolutely love them (they do pretty much what I just detailed), but I think I'll give these puppies a shot in the guitar I want to buy myself for the holidays: an Ibanez RGMS8 (I know they'd have to be custom ordered and have slightly angled bobbins).
Your pups DO sound pretty on cleans, but can still sound cold (an amazing combination) and they rhythm stuff sounds crushing, ballsy and mean as fuck. Amazing! And, of course, gorgeous, creamy leads.
Btw, any good amp you guys can recommend, that can do stuff from clean to modern hi gain, ranging from Black Metal to Deathcore/Djent? Should be a combo and price range from 400 to 800-ish bucks (if you have something cheaper, that's awesome I won't say no :D). Doesn't matter, if it's tube, solid state or whatever.
Also...WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SHIRT OF MR POE?

Maybe a bit to hot for me but still ABSOLUTELY beautiful and besides, it suits you and your style. Can't wait to hear some new dorje stuff with them

Just ordered a set. They’re going in my gretsch baritone. The bar crowds aren’t ready.

That funky riff at 14:42 (middle pickup, high gain channel) is that a new Dorje riff? or will it be on Grinding Gears 3? If not, what is that, Extreme? Would love to know / listen to a whole track! Cheers! Can't get enough of your playing. Rock on brother.

Honestly the best Pickups I have ever heard. The clarity is so clean and clear with every tone you put them through. Yes just like I hate treble I hate reverb because it takes away the clarity from the tone of the gain/ high gain and other tones/ sounds. But these pickups don’t do that at all which is great. Good one mate 🙂
