    You guys are saving my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering!
    Greetings from Brazil!
    I was wondering if it is possible to convert the xyz file to a Word file...since my teachers only accept Word docs for assignments and notes.
    Keep up the good work!

      Glad to hear you're finding it useful and thanks for the encouragement, much appreciated! You can create a PDf, if your teachers will accept that, by using the print to PDF feature of your web browser (works best in Chrome or Edge). Unfortunately, there's no way to save as a word file. Word can import a PDF, but I just tried it and the equations don't come through very well. The idea is that eventually professors will accept an EngineeringPaper.xyz link as a submission, but that may take some time before it's commonplace!

      @@epxyz Thanks for the support. I will try to convince my teachers to accept an xyz link already! 😄

    Excellent software. How to create a variable with greeksymbol? For example gammasoil?

    • @epxyz
      @epxyz  21 день назад

      You will need to make soil a subscript to get what you're looking for. Typing gamma_soil will work. See: engineeringpaper.xyz/kiU4KryPRy37JagJd6KRzL

    I tried to request the Persistent Local Storage for permanent savings of my calculations. Unfortunately, the button does nothing and it remains deactivated. I use Brave browser. Is there any settings I need to tweak to enable this storage?

    • @epxyz
      @epxyz  7 месяцев назад +1

      The persistent local storage is only used for the temp-checkpoints auto save points (useful in case you accidentally navigate away from a page or you can use the back button for undo) and the Recent Sheets list on the left menu. To save your calculations for future use, use the save button on the top toolbar and select the .epxyz format. Ctrl-S (or Cmd-S on mac) shortcut is a shortcut for this functionality. Both of these options save your sheet locally as an .epxyz file that you can open later by clicking the "Open Sheet" button on the top toolbar or by dragging the file and dropping it on the EngineeringPaper.xyz window (Ctrl-O or Cmd-O is the shortcut for opening a .epxyz file).

    MKS unit for time is 's' not 'sec', will it accept proper time unit?

    • @epxyz
      @epxyz  Год назад

      Yes, 's' works for seconds as well.

      The standard SI unit symbols are now used by default. However, sec will still work for seconds.
