I saw them in July of last year on the Happiness in Self Destruction tour! They're my favorite band cause they can perform and their music is the best! Can't wait to see them again this coming weekend!
@@prodigaltone yeah we tend to expect a singer to destroy his voice for the next couple days/weeks just for the sake of a perfect sounding live performance :D very impressive how he pulls of this amount of endurance. Such exceptional skills and control on this brutal and demanding vocal lines tho!
+Wilt it's interesting, and usually it's really fun. There's a lot of factor that can be stressful at times, like when bands are divas or I get blindsided with a touring setup that is more than what I can accommodate. As long as I'm kept informed ahead of time and the bands are easy to work with (most of them are), its a fun job and it never gets redundant.
wow at 10:08 to 10:21 it look like they were singing so hi it looked like they were in arena or almost like millions of people live from waken would of over sing that like an angel, and i was also touched from it.
i love landon dude and i can definitely say that his singing live has gotten a lot better. idrk if it was just this specific show on the tour but he sounds like he was kind of straining himself a little bit but he’s definitely improved a bunch recently
Were those cleans in the beginning of my old ways backtracks? Tone is radically different and you can hear him breathing separately from the cleans...?
No there's only a few harmonies in back tracks but there's never a main vocal line coming from the back tracks. He just really nails that part live for some reason
Guardian Official yeah, most signed touring bands have some degree of vocals or guitars in their back tracks. This set is pretty minimal compared to some others I've uploaded tbh
Cleighton Presutti i mean for me personally lows really wear out your stamina so i think it’s just easier for him to do his natural mids which require less air and projection
Is he using a backing track/lip syncing for the chorus of the first track? Kind of seems too perfect. No disrespect because he sounds amazing on everything else. I was just curious.
The plot in you is my favorite band ever, and Landon is my idol. But why is he backtracking his vocals and not singing? Very evident in the new songs they performed. Especially my old ways and dear old friend. I hope he just wasn't feeling and wanted good performance for fans
He's still singing those parts, it's just that with the direct audio solely from the board in this case you are hearing both the backtracked vocals and his natural vocals at the same general volume level. In person however, the volume of the backtracked vocals are definitely a bit lower and you can distinguish/make out Landon's natural voice much easier. He really does hit those notes pretty flawlessly live.
+Ryan Robinson his vocal is live, but he does have harmonies buried in their back tracks. a lot of bands pre-record a lot of their vocal performances, he's way more live/authentic than a lot of the bands on their level.
10/10 performance
100/10 bass tone
Sansamps typically deliver the bass tones, he also plays really nice basses
+Leo Sypniewski he really does. thanks for the upload my man. quality video
Sir Jebus what kind of bass is he playing?
looks like some sort of LTD. not sure
vibes ltd 204 sm in natural spalted/flamed maple I have the same one just in 5 string version
fuck they're so good live, they deserve way more recognition!
holy fuck, Landon is fucking amazing !!!!
I'm 48 and my son who is 22 got me into you guys :) I'm so glad he did !!! Love you guys !!! ME AND MY SON ARE GOING TO SEE YOU LIVE ONE DAY :)

Landon's vocals literally brings tears to my eyes. Such emotion.
This is the best sounding live video I have seen in a long time. You did an amazing job on the mixing.
Thanks man! I'm hoping to do a ton more soon. I'm currently hosting a GoFundMe for a better GoPro
I was at this show! One of the craziest shows I’ve been to!
landon you are my fucking idol
I saw them in July of last year on the Happiness in Self Destruction tour! They're my favorite band cause they can perform and their music is the best! Can't wait to see them again this coming weekend!
damn. he hits every note. kind of disappointed he strays away from the low screams though.
+owningall Still an amazing performance though. I need to see these guys. One of my favorite bands right now
+Maggot totally agree
+owningall Back tracks.
Any type of false cord screaming really affects cleans. Especially on a long tour. He's really taking care of his voice
Underrated album
literally the craziest show i have ever been to
+Nicolette Devore it was in my top 3 for the year, if not my favorite, to run sound for.
+Leo Sypniewski Whats being a sound guy like?
+Wilt it's interesting, and usually it's really fun. probably a 12 years old..
Flawless. And damn, that bass tone sounds better than some studio albums. Vocals spot on too
You can't deny the bass tone of nice gear and a sansamp!
Thank you for the upload
Such a great night
"Let's make this room as uncomfortable as shit"
He hits those screaming high perfectly!
always so good. I left the page and forgot it was a live video playing haha
wow at 10:08 to 10:21 it look like they were singing so hi it looked like they were in arena or almost like millions of people live from waken would of over sing that like an angel, and i was also touched from it.
Super impressed with bands that can nail their live sound this hard
At 16:30 kid looks at the bassist like yo get the fuck outta my way lol
Great video! I hope they come to Portland soon. Amazing band!
god i wish i knew how o do the sing/scream he does in take me away. absolutely amazing
Damn their drummer this show was hella good
besides dropping his stick within 30 seconds of playing? LOL
Why are they so fucking good WTFFF 100/100 awesome vocals awesome band UGHHH💕💕
That bass is sooo sick. And the tone of it holy fuck
i love landon dude and i can definitely say that his singing live has gotten a lot better. idrk if it was just this specific show on the tour but he sounds like he was kind of straining himself a little bit but he’s definitely improved a bunch recently
I could write this under any of your videos: absolutely amazing work, looking forward to more videos.
what the fuck :o i never heard a band with this incredible live performance...this is awesome!!!
dude they fucking kill it live!!
Excellent sound quality for once. On point, homie
Having a 2nd guitar on backingtrack is a turnoff. Sick show regardless though \m/
his vocals are fucking perfect
Wish they played this set on the drop the gloves tour
definitelya great tour. one of my favs recently
he defiently sounds sick but still amazing seen them twice one of my favorite band
+Nick Goble i thought he sounded perfect
awesome quality loved it
11:46 He missed the cue. That's adorable lol
Landon Tewers is just a fucking beast
Well, I figured out the next band I need to see live
Really good mixing
Damn, Die Like Your Brothers is hype AF.
FrankCreature one of their sickest songs ever. That and crows :)
Were those cleans in the beginning of my old ways backtracks? Tone is radically different and you can hear him breathing separately from the cleans...?
No there's only a few harmonies in back tracks but there's never a main vocal line coming from the back tracks. He just really nails that part live for some reason
great start drummer :D
Drummer lost his sticks first 20 seconds lmao
Yeah the chorus in my old ways he definately has a backing track, no doubt about it.
Guardian Official yeah, most signed touring bands have some degree of vocals or guitars in their back tracks. This set is pretty minimal compared to some others I've uploaded tbh
how is rat poison not on this set? like what...
5:14 Seriously, WTF Landon, those screams are a fucking volcano spewing magma.
Did anyone notice that the drummer dropped his stick like ten seconds into "Hole In The Wall?"
My babies
It sounds like the strings were muted on the live sound then inserted the recorded sounds...
Everything you're hearing is recorded off the sound board and then mixed in pro tools
Do they have a second guitarist playing backstage or using playback?
So who's drumming for them now? I remember Alex from Erra toured with them filling in. Is this guy permanent?
This is their new drummer Mathis
Word
why doesnt he rip the lows?
Cleighton Presutti It was a pretty long tour, and lows take quite a toll on the voice. My best guess would be Landon was just taking care of his voice
Cleighton Presutti i mean for me personally lows really wear out your stamina so i think it’s just easier for him to do his natural mids which require less air and projection
Shouldn’t record it if you can’t do it live
@@alexbourgeois7863 He probably can do it live.. It's his choice not to..
He can do it live, but you gotta take care of your voice on tour.
Is he using a backing track/lip syncing for the chorus of the first track? Kind of seems too perfect. No disrespect because he sounds amazing on everything else. I was just curious.
No there's still enough fluctuation where it sounds different then the recording. Landon is just that good
🤍🤍🖤🖤🤍🤍🖤🖤🤍🤍🖤🖤
Ethan has his bass so damn low.
What's the first song??! Been trying to figure it out!
Matthew Leedy hole in the wall
Did you happen to get any video of My Enemies & I?
Sorry I did not. Maybe next time they come through, I didn't really know anything about them. I also regret not asking my ticket home
I wonder why he was lacking on his gutturals, might've just been a rough tour day.
+AriiseFx His voice also sounds a little rough, even from the beginning he maybe was sick.
he usually does not do them live maybe they are hard to pull off and wasn't feeling like it or they take a toll order on his voice
The plot in you is my favorite band ever, and Landon is my idol. But why is he backtracking his vocals and not singing? Very evident in the new songs they performed. Especially my old ways and dear old friend. I hope he just wasn't feeling and wanted good performance for fans

I've seen them live quite a few times I know Landon can do it that's why I was disappointed, just a misunderstanding on my part I guess
+Ryan Robinson Watch the first song then skip to Premeditated. You can tell he's getting tired. A 10 song set can be pretty tough lol.
Hey you guys sound like wait a min I got it everyone else and
Landon was terrible...lmao...
+Tredway you will never realize how difficult it is to scream AND sing while moving around with hot stage lights until you actually do so
this was one of the best live performances i have ever seen of them
What the fuck? I want to know what godly shows you’ve been to that made this “terrible”. You’re out of your mind.
bassist needs to lose that emo haircut
