    Ever since I started using off-angles and high ground I've been getting more compliments then ever from the enemy. Like "Where did you come from!?!?!", "Why are you there ;-;", and "How does a Rein even get there" to list a few.

      You should not be off angling as rein
      Like he said in the video, the main body is usually around the tank. So if you're rein, your team will likely follow, making it the main angle

      @@savinglee.Unironically yes. He is kind of nutty. Two firestrikes up the enemy team's ass when they arent looking takes them all to 90%. A charge coming in from an unknown location is either a freight train or boops the entire team off of the map/high ground.

    nice! i wish i had this video years ago lol. another tip is to look at your team's hero silhouettes through the walls while you're setting up a flank. a yellow indicator shows when they are taking damage, which means the fight has probably started

    i find it really interesting that you rate genji so lowly as a flanker. his lone survivability isn't as high as a character like tracer, but a good genji flank can pose a huge threat to the backline and almost always requires a cooldown or a teammate to peel for them

    Flanking and providing pressure from behind is a very hero specific topic. Soldier and Bab and Moira can go on quite extreme flanks as they have the full package of dmg, heal and mobility. Tracer, Sombra and Ball have so much mobility that you can act on their own between the enemy backline and healthpacks.
    Any other hero should play in a rotation with the team as they require resources from the team.
    On the new Sombra i would highly suggest playing some time with the team. Hacking is a great support ability and the flanks are easier when they expect you with the team.

    Ofc it comes down to skill expression and personal playstyle, but I feel like offangling and flanking on doom and genji can be powerful tools to relieve pressure put on your team, especially when the oppoaing team has a lot of frontline presencee. Otherwise, very informative video!

    Great video. It popped up on my recommended list. I don't play much comp, but I know I'm "stuck" in the metal ranks of Silver/Gold. It's always a frustrating experience for me. I've been having lots and lots of success (and fun) primarily playing Mystery Heroes and always look for opportunity to off-angle and flank when I get a DPS hero and it's satisfying if I don't screw it up! My question/request though is that are you able to somehow make a video to explain what to do when your team just refuses to group up? I'm talking about feeding tanks that are oblivious to where their healers are... or DPS that like to dive straight in to die 1 vs 5 all the time. I mean, what *CAN* you do in those situations? Just take the L? Honestly, it's when I experience that often in Comp.. it is why I don't play it.

    A lot of lower-rank players really don't understand the cover thing about high ground, they watch Overwatch RUclipsrs who say to "use the high ground" and then go stand still on it and can't understand why they're dying just as easily as on low ground. High ground is good because you can back out of the enemy's LOS when you get low, even more easily if you have regular cover on top of it.

      I think Genji is an opportunist more than a flanker. He likes to play with his team so that he can have resources dedicated to him while he pokes, and when an opportunity presents itself, that’s when he goes in. But flanker isn’t the word I would use, it would be a diver or opportunist.

      It's possible but she's technically dive, but can also take part in brawl. Because of her limited range, you'll probably find it much more difficult to off-angle on long range maps. But you can, yes.

    • @WR3CK3D_HQ
      @WR3CK3D_HQ  2 месяца назад +2

    • @mrzefs4463
      @mrzefs4463 2 месяца назад

      @@WR3CK3D_HQ soldier can play far behind the enemy team on a lot of maps, he plays at a range where most heroes have to push him to get a favourable range for the matchup, if the enemy pushes soldier he can simply rotate away or simply win the duel. Therefore its quite common to sent more than one person to deal with the soldier which will favour the soldiers team as they are in a 4v3 or even bigger advantage depending on the ammount sent to the soldier. When soldier wot be able to deal with all the ppl sent he will simply run away while his team wins the fight. This playstyle works mostly due to his sprint and self heal making him very good in mid range duels as well as just to rotate away from unfavourable fights. The weaknesses of this playstyle is if the enemy team either can jump him faster that he can get away or his team gets run over faster than he can either get a pick or get anyone low enough so that they just die as soon as the start brawling. This playstyle is not easy to execute and cant be done on every map but when done right it can destroy teams singe handedly.

      When people say Genji is a "flanker" they usually mean "Genji likes fighting the backline." When I refer to flanking in this video, I'm talking about setting up behind the enemy team, which isn't something Genji loves although he can do it in certain situations.

    You put zen on love off anfles and kiri on use them if you can.
    I cannot disagree more
    The most u can do on zen if you take an off angle is shoot one volly and run. If you dont someones gonna dive u and u die.
    In the meantime kiri has tp and consistent spam pressure and you put kiri on use it if you can???? You can force enemy cooldowns to force you out of you position at no risk and you apply tons of headshot pressure.

    • @WR3CK3D_HQ
      @WR3CK3D_HQ  2 месяца назад +1

      You have some good points but I stand by what I said.
      Kiri performs GREAT on off-angles. Everything you said is true. But the reason she only uses them if she can is because if you leave your team for too long, your team WILL start dying due to travel time on your supporting abilities. Your healing will take forever to get there, your Suzu will be inaccurate, and if you have to save someone ASAP then you will use both cooldowns to do so, leaving you vulnerable. If everyone on your team is fine, I encourage you to use off-angles as Kiri. But there will be lots of times where you go to take an off-angle and someone on your team dies because of it, and that's just not a good way to climb.
      Zen, while way less mobile than Kiri, performs his job insanely well on safe off-angles. His harmony and discord are near instant and his kill pressure out of the supports is second to none. Now if they have dive, then of course your positioning needs to change. But you should always be looking for opportunities to safely use off-angles as Zen.

    • @timmycho3191
      @timmycho3191 2 месяца назад

      @@WR3CK3D_HQ considering the games in in and the meta were on there bound to be at least one of either Winston tracer or genji that's really keen on snagging up a free kill on a zen on an off angle. What you said is true that zen gets tons of value on an off angle. But in most cases you'll never play like that
