Weren't they snatched up by Chelsea a year or 2 ago? I remember something of that sort.
The thing with Brighton is that the owner, Tony Bloom, has his own data analysis thing where he and his team look at unearthed talent. That tells me that whoever they hire as the director will always look incredible at their job there than they really are. Whoever that director is, he's probably worth taking a game on, though.

Love Rosicky but I just don't see it tbh... It's not just about challenging Arteta it's challenging the owners & questioning the investment, finding good young players, strengthening depth with industrious players and using their network to get good deals.... Most importantly have a vision and ambition... Seems like appeasing fans to me.... I'd rather take Vieira tbh whilst he lacks experience as a director of football he'd no doubt question Arteta's tactics & signings, he'd tell the club where to go & understands players leaving Arsenal for many different reasons... If they'd go with a former player than it's Patrick no doubt for me....

@ This is also what Wenger used to do to the players as Walcott mentioned in an interview. That’s probably why despite the flaws, Wenger’s Arsenal had no shortage of creativity. @rm0410 16 дней назад

Oh you mean another Yesman? He will fit right in I suppose. What’s this DNA behind the scenes that you are spewing? Is the DNA behind the scenes the people in charge of the process all of a sudden leaving and jumping ship as the likes of Edu, Vinai and staff like Steve Round? 5 years without a trophy, and no final since that FA cup. Top dollar wages to mediocre players like Havertz Jesus and Zinchenko whilst Saka and Saliba will get swayed to go to serious teams and fans will call them Judas (But it’s okay because Kai wins duels🥺). Forcing players to do a role they aren’t comfortable in. Bottling the league twice and multiple embarrassments in Europe like Olympiacos Villarreal Sporting. A total of 750 million spent and a squad that can’t cope with one injury only not even managing to get one shot on target at home in a semi-final. I can go all day bro. That’s not what we call DNA my friend it is cancer. Arteta is the cancer that is growing day by day in this club and he will collect his 15m a year peddling PR every conference and shielding the Kroenkes. In one instance he will say “we need to attack every transfer window” then “we have the thinnest squad” after that “internal solutions” , “we cannot sign anyone this window”. Everything he says he caps out of his a**. But keep sipping the kool aid, keep it up👍🏿.

While I have followed your channel for more than a year now and generally you have well thought and articulated content. With this however I kinda start to feel your frustrations on the club (which any fan does, I for sure do) it starts to creep on the depth of the quality of the content you put out here. Sure, Rosicky is new and open questions on his fit. Also agree on the signings in summer, etc. Again no argument here. However the way you presented in this video it seemed a bit winey (and again sorry for saying that). Like, yes this sucks, yes, we need to pick ourselves up and improve! Maybe this is just me and I'm just a bit frustrated with the wineing of the fans instead of picking up the team when their down, etc. + we definitely don't see the full picture and perhaps the team definitely was not the healthiest out yesterday, hence the performance. Sometime you just have a bad day (or a run of days) at the office, and this is Arsenals one.
I still am confident this team will win us a lot of silverware in the future and I back this manager 100%! You'll see in a few months!

We need that position filled with a permanent assignment like yesterday
I do like that we are adding more "Arsenal DNA" if you will to the backroom, and I don't think Rosicky would bend over for Arteta's every wish, but will he be able to bring in top attacking players?
Against Newcastle, we had 24(!!!!) shots, only ONE was on target. 3.09 xG (per the Athletic following FT) in that game. Our attacking players sans Saka are inconsistent at best and disappear in games when we need someone to step up. We can say unlucky all we want, but when that is the constant refrain, it stops having anything to do with luck.
We desperately need another midfield playmaker willing to play central through balls alongside a speedy winger, but, frankly, given how poor we have been on the net, we need a goal scoring attacker this window, regardless of whether or not they meet the creator or winger label. I don't see this club being competitive the rest of the season without a successful January window.
c'mon Arsenal, let's get someone to sign the ting.
