Yes, you can disconnect the headlight without causing any errors. When you open the dashboard, there will be three plastic connectors (two with 3 wires, and one connector with only 2 wires). You want to disconnect the one with only 2 wires, that's the one powering the headlight. Then, when riding at night you still want to "turn on the lights" for safety so that your rear light is visible. You can also set "Taillight always on" in your m365 mobile app, but since you want to save energy this may not be the best option in your case.
I will be difficult because your bicykle will need to have roughly the same voltage (38v). Otherwise you will have to install a transformer that will change the voltage from whatever your bicykle uses to 38v or so
my issue is my headlights don’t turn off and this is draining the battery. i can only turn it off by turning the scooter off. When i press the power button it still doesn’t turn off. please someone help
To the best of my knowledge this is the original headlight. However, having ordered it online you never know what you're gonna get. Despite the fact that it looks exactly the same.
Wow, thanks a lot!! I couldn't dare open it without any structure information, but as i watched this video I fixed it!!!
Glad it helped!
Amazing video! This helped me so much.
I'm glad it helped! Thank you for the kind comment!
Very useful, thanks!
Can you tell me how many volts are on the connector? I want to upgrade the head light by replacing the LED and installing a driver.
To my surprise there's 4.4 volts at the connector.
@@escooterrider1834 thank you! I will try install xm-l2 emitter with TIR lens, but not sure in heat dissipation.
@@Trikster82 Interesting, post a video once you do that. I'd like to see how it performs!

Is it possible to adjust the high of the beam
Nope. Not to the best of my knowledge. You may want to install a secondary headlight.
