Wasn't Yaga's special grade status only given to him after Panda happened? Cursed Dolls by themselves are powerful, but they rely on the user's CE. Yaga does not have the CE reserves to create and control an army. But Panda is entirely self-sufficient, so that hinted to the Higher-ups that Yaga could theoretically take over the whole nation, hence why they imprisoned him and tried to figure out how he did it.
@@davidreljac1707Yaga was never given special grade, he could have gotten special grade if he had proceeded to make the army. Panda doesn’t run on yaga’s CE, it has its own that the 3 cores within creates with any food eaten by panda. Yaga had the ability to continuously make pandas or dolls like panda and they would be individuals.
@@bromous1446 I am aware. What I meant was that the Higher-ups would've given Yaga special-grade potential status, akin to how Geto is a grade 1 sorcerer in strength who is categorized as special-grade because of his potential to build an entire army of Curses.
Hanami’s domain does have a name in the jujutsu kaisen mobile game, it was called “Primordial Sea of Light” and its sure hit was not only that blast that Hanami was making while creating the domain but also the flowers that make you not want to fight, im not sure if this is the official but i thought it was interesting
What I like about jjk is that there is a power scaling that is actually measurable, and people like gojo being strong has sort of a science behind it. That’s what made me appreciate his fight vs sukuna more as it wasn’t just about who can use the strongest move but it’s more about how they use them, and there are actually consequences of overusing your domains and mental ramifications of using certain techniques. Obviously it’s very inspired by hunter x hunter but I think gege kinda refined the formula

I would put takaba, hakari, higurma, and kenny as honorable mentions, especially takaba. He himself is not special grade but his technique definitely is, to be able to change reality without even opening a domain is actually broken as hell, it kinda makes me wonder what takaba's domain would look like if he got one
The only valid one is Kenjaku but he automatically qualifies as he has Getos body

Being in that level pretty much means consistently being in a special grade level.
That happend when Yuta lost Rika, he got disqualified as an SP, but he regained it back when he trained himself and aquired a weaker Rika.
Hakari can't qualify since he becomes an SP once he uses his DE, which he can still lose if his enemy has a more refined DE, same with Higuruma
Takaba can infact be SP, but he is just too dumb. And he can't kill anyone
Kenny absolutely qualifies since he can overtake an entire country, oldest and smartest character in the verse, and he'd in Geto's body so..

You got Yuta's shikigami's wrong. He made them using Dhruv Lakdawalla's technique, making them have a domain orbit around them.
Yeah anyone can create shikigami, much like anyone can learn barrier techniques, but the cursed technique he copied from Dhruv is creating a domain with their paths

Hakari can’t be special grade tho because his strongest move requires him to gamble and win, so if he doesn’t land jackpot then he becomes vulnerable to anything cause he’s ct will be on cooldown from using his domain

@@shawnlaw89he has the best rct under a certain condition only. If he were to fight any of the other special grade sorcerers and they wanted him dead they all kill him pretty quickly.
Takaba, Higurama and Hakari are as strong as special grade aswell.

Would be cool if we saw more RCTs being the opposite of their innate CTs. Like how Satoru’s RCT Red(push) does the opposite of his CT Blue(pull). Yuki’s RCT could be taking away mass of others, or even herself to float/fly.
Her virtual mass didn’t affect her weight, just her momentum. Kenjaku said that it didn’t affect her to a certain density. However I completely agree, imagine if kenjaku actually prepared Jogo and let him learn to use CTR and get an ice based ability on top of his insane fire and magma. Or mahito learning to actually heal a soul and maybe even make better fighters than the isomer fighters that could destroy majority of sorcerers. If that was the case, those two alone would be right below gojo in terms of power.

The death paintings shouldn’t really be involved in this. Yes they’re special grade curses but generally a grade 1 should handle a SG curse, and the DPW are certainly an example of one’s that could die to grade 1’s. The only real examples of ones who are stronger are the disaster curses

@@S.offdagridd because a special grade curse is equal to a grade 1 sorcerer, the disaster curses, rika, and cursya are the only ones shown stronger. Putting them in here you might as well put grade 1 sorcerers in this debate

@@skychieftain Nanami has been implied to beat one before, geto as a grade 1 beat multiple, yuji beat a special grade mahito (with help we know), Mei Mei beat a special grade chicken pox deity, hakari is grade 1. Under current jujutsu, neither ryu or uro would be considered SG and would be grade 1. So you could even say them too.
In shibuya, naobito and Nanami were truly surprised they ran into a SG curse who could survive their attacks and who could open a DE. A general special grade curse is lower in strength then a grade 1 unless they have a matchup on you. The disaster curses and cursya are the only shown exemptions.
@@saucekay6793 When is Nanami implied to beat one? Yuji didn't beat Mahito, Geto brain man did. Mei mei used Ui Ui as a decoy to beat smallpox. On her own she would have died.
Where did Ryu or Uro beat a special grade? Naobito and Nanami were only surprised because their team up didn't work. It means that as a team they should have been able to handle it, not individually.
A general special grade curse usually is not able to use it's techniques as refined as the disaster curses so it would make sense if a grade 1 can beat it but a genuine special grade curse who has better understanding and application of it's technique would destroy a grade 1 sorcerer easily.
Hakari did not beat any special grade curse
I think mahito is probably the stronger disaster curse imo

Jogo was the strongest one before Shibuya, Mahito became a lot more powerful in the fight against Todo and Yuji
His perfect form was broken fortunately he couldn't use his full potential for all the accumulated damage he took during the fight, especially the last black flash of Yuji post domain expansion, but he was survived the fight would probably became one of the strongest characters in the verse

Edit: wasn't many instances but it what yuji did to todo and seemingly choso felt so random
I think both times it happened make sense but the fact it happened two different is what makes it weird. Todo is just a crazy dude who made up a backstory in his head and choso had a vision that I think was just meant to be a representation of how he now sees Yuji the same as he sees his other brothers.
