+Jellal Mystogan'Siegrain Fernandes you don't have to say appreciate greatness on jordan highlights or hakeem highlights, kobe highlights, shaq highlights, duncan highlights...
Zach Falbe you're right because Jordan is retired. If you're insinuating that Jordan was never capable of posting the same type of numbers that LeBron does then you haven't seen all of Jordan's stats. Jordan has proven he's capable of having triple doubles on a regular basis, just like LeBron. One season he played the point while the teams starting PG was injured. Jordan averaged over 10 APG for like 60 games until the teams starting PG returned, and because of this Jordan ended that season at 8 APG.
@@thepisceanlion4171 What he could have done doesn't matter. What matters is what he did. Michael Jordan never did what LeBron James has done and will continue to do.
it's really simple I don't see why ppl can't wrap their head around it lebron (best all around player) jordan (best legacy ) wilt (most dominate ) even tho u can't really compare eras lebron is the best ALL-AROUND player to ever play but no one ever will surpass the LEGACY of mj not that mj wasn't a absolute beast and one of the best winners but Come on.... give credit where credit is due
LeBron looks much sleaker now than he does then. Here he had a harder time beating his man off the dribble. but his fadeaway is unstoppable and in the open court he flattened defenders.
His consistency was amazing in Miami, increasing his field goal percentage every year and shooting 41% from three point range one year, pretty good for a guy they say can't shoot
The funny coincidence about this scoring record being shattered is that after the 1995 season ended (you know, the one where Glen Rice set the Heat scoring record), Rice got traded to Charlotte, leaving Miami. Lebron left Miami after this last season, when HE set the new record.
mtorres723 he probably is, he's lost weight since he left Miami but they usually list him at 250lbs. Lebron was definitely 260+ in Miami. His frame and height allows him to put on more weight and still be athletic and fast but it was muscle, not fat which makes a huge difference. Although fat isn't always bad, there's situations where adding fat can be beneficial (which is not in basketball).
sonofaballer96 Adding fat CAN be a benefit in basketball. Just ask Shaq. He was fat as hell during the Lakers days and after but he remains the most dominant player in the NBA and arguably of all time.
Kreze202 Yeah but he was still really dominant in Orlando and he wasnt fat then, he could run the floor and dribble, but he didnt need to do that in his time

LeBron is probably the best all around player I've witnessed in my lifetime. I used to hate the living crap out of him until I watched more and more games of LeBron. Rings Dont matter in the league anymore. LeBron is the undisputed best player today. I'm a Kobe fan, but if you think that LeBron is a better scorer than Kobe, get the fuck out of here.
Health Inspector thank you at least someone knows i thought all the kobe fans wouldn't appreciate greatness i love kobe i think he's a top 5 player to ever play this game my top 5 1. lebron (all-round) 2. jordan (scorer) 3. kobe (scorer) 4. russell (11 rings)
Mark Chiefkeef LeBron is the best player today, but he's most definitely not the best player ever. Jordan was a much better all-round player than LeBron ever was. LeBron is definitely top 5, and so is Kobe. But greats like Wilt Chamberlain, Hakeem The dream and Kareem Abdul-jabar , you can never really decide who the best among those was. Though most people that saw Jordan play (and if you watch gameplay now it's ridiculous how good that guy was) usually say Jordan was the best there ever was.
***** ur just a lebron james fan, lebron james may be the best of those who still play but dont ever dare forget, if michael jordan still played he'd destroy lebron, the best player of all time is and will always be michael jordan.
Hot shooting night + horrible defense. Most of the cases of 50+ pts games, but it is scary witness LeBron knocking down 3 with ease. He is far to be a great shooter, with a elite 3pt shot and 85% FT percentage, he could ended up being the best player ever.
Rabsel Yoehnam lmao, are you kidding? LeBron can't hit a contested 3 even if his own life depends on it. He is a decent shooter playing in a system, spoting up open 3s. With fewer attempts, his FG% is very efficient. With is great, the guy is easily the best all around player of alltimes. But his shooting skill is just average. A good indicator of poor shooting is the free throws. He barely shoots 72% of his FTs and, when he misses, he smaks the ball pretty hard on the rim. The high percentage is more a testament of his basketball IQ than shooting skill itself.
You're right about the last part, but he is an elite jump shooter now, for the past years seasons at least. And maybe he can't hit a contested three if his life depended on it, but he can if the game depended on it (see: game-winning, hesitation stepback, buzzerbeating, 27 foot three pointer over Andre Iguodala, one of the game's premier on ball defenders.) that's just one example. And I don't like him because he takes contested threes, I like him because he takes smart threes, because jacking up bad shots will mostly end in failure. Except for Kobe and to a lesser extent Jordan.
Lebrons 61 points beats melo's 62 imo. This is a Knicks fan talking too. Nell didn't have any assists, yet Lebron had 5. That's the it factor. But I think that if they kept kelp in he easily could've dropped 70.
6:22 first time they ever seen that in 26 years of heat basketball was when lebron scored 49 in 3 qtrs correct me if I'm wrong but didnt dwade already had a game where he out up 50 thru 3 qtrs? Edit: Dwyane wade score 50 in 3 qtrs vs knicks in 2009
+AA AM ya well once kobe gets 4 mvps and averages 27 pts 7 and 7 while shootin 55 percent and 40 percent from three then talk. till then all kobe does is score. which theyre a lot of those in the nba

Back when LeBron was efficient and could hit threes. I used to believe 2009-2010 LeBron was him at his best. After watching how much his efficiency has fallen off this season, and how much he has to resort to jumpers and hero ball threes, 2012-2014 were clearly his best years.
gorrow1990 he has improve his jumpers. Look at how he shoot when he got a healthy leg as compared to the weakmleg during the final where he was so slow and couldn't get any lift
I honestly reckon he could do this again. I mean he just dropped 44 on only 24 shots and 3 that he missed were forced up at the buzzer cause they'd just chuck it to him so really he done it on 21 shots. If he took about 30+ shots in a game and wasn't focusing on facilitating I reckon he could do this but unfortunately he probably won't. It's quite incredible though when you know a player is capable of dropping 50-60 in his 14th season but he chooses not too waste energy and you just gotta look at the finals, dropped 41 points in back to back games against the most successful regular season team of all time. imagine what he'd do to teams not even half as good during regular season at that intensity
Stop comparing and appreciate greatness.

birdman hit a three? thanks for putting that in the highlights hehe
Skip Bayless be like: Yes, he made 8 threes in a row, but goes 1/3 in the 4th quarter? Are you kidding me?
