NightCat has built a machine using Inv's egg, which would help them travel through universes to find Inv a mate,, but what if those universes had a Inv of their own?

Honestly, I'm confused as to how our original Inv wasn't just as jaded, considering what you need to go through just to get to the dating sim.

I love how Env (alternate Inv) looks like uhhhh sharper than Inv, its a cool way to distinguish them
Its cool how without any dialogue or proper interaction you can tell the difference between the two paincats - I think Env may form some representation of the gameplay of the Paincat campaign (with the world being literally and invariably out to get you and hating you) while Inv has, in Season One, moreso been correlated with the dating sim part of the character
also Nightcat’s expressions are gorgeous, theyre so proud of themself, the crungly (affectionate)

Good idea. Those are two ways Inverse/Inventor/ can develop.
He is either cheerful and always up to a challenge, never getting sad because of his failures and always getting back up. Or the one broken by the invevitable fate of hardships from the hardest difficulty of the game.
There are invtermidiate options, of course, but those two are the main ones.

So night made a portal device with inv's egg. They both jump through, but then Env goes through seemingly shuting night and inv on their side... interesting ( also nice design with the sharper parts and ear scar on Env. Cant wait to see how this plays out.)

dating sim turned into a series based on doctor who
I noticed that alternate Inv has a scar on their right ear, while the one we're used to has no such scar. This might mean that this version of Inv isn't as helpless as our Inv, being able to brush death and live. From here I'll call the alternate universe Inv Enot, and the "original" will be Inv, Enot's demeanor is aggressive, with narrowed eyes and predator like stance. Compared to Inv who's wide eyed and stood somewhat behind Nightcat, Enot is a killer compared to Inv, who would rather flirt than fight. My guess is that Enot started out like Inv, wide eyed and flirtatious, but had no luck in making at the very least friends, as he is alone when we see them, compared to Inv who seems to be on good terms with Nightcat. This led to Enot becoming cold and numb, or at the very least jaded when it came to finding a companion, to the point of either giving up, or actively being more aggressive. At 0:37 his facial expression is akin to saying "Oh, it's you." in a somewhat bitter tone, and he doesn't flinch when the portal closes, which could mean something or nothing. It's an interesting take over the usual Inv we've seen so far, but that's just my take on the video.

What if!?! Listen, all I can see and I know right know about that "parallel Inv" is that he isn't flirty and really gloomy. What if the scugs from their original world become really depressed because or afraid of that "gloomy Inv" and would want to get their own back because now that they know what an alternative is - they want their own cheerful and flirty one back? :D
That would be such a fun character and lore development. Please, if this idea inspires you too, use what you get from it!
