  • I'm back after a long time without being able to offer you content but here I am again in the business!
One of my favorite tours. The one of 2003.
For the anecdote, The AC/DC Club Dates/Rolling Stones tour was a series of concerts given by AC/DC. The band were a support act for the Rolling Stones' Licks tour of Germany, but also performed together in Toronto, Canada.
We start with Gone Shootin' which had been played during this tour so I replayed the whole thing to achieve this result.

This is one of my favorite gigs. You should do some stuff off the Dirty Deeds album like Squealer, Ain’t No Fun, and Love at First Feel since they haven’t played many songs from that album live. Also Sink The Pink in the style of river plate would be great. It would give us a good idea on how that song would sound with Phil Rudd since she’s never done it

Isn't this mostly the VH1 song over the 2003 footage? In the 2003 version, there is a small pause between the intro and the main riff, there were no backup vocals other than the crowd sing-along, and you can hear Brian's singing matching the VH1 vocals but no sound coming out in the video, also Brian in the VH1 version kinda forgot the lyrics or something right before the "overkill" which you can clearly hear here. BUT Phil in the VH1 version didn't start playing until the main riff started, unlike here. So my theory is that you played the intro of the 2003 show and then had the VH1 version come in (very smoothly so) a little after the start so that Phil's drumming matched the intro in the video, and then went back to the 2003 show for the outro and end of the song to also match the video.

Good analysis! in fact, the drums and vocals are from live VH1, however I played the guitar and bass parts so that they correspond to the style of 2003. Concerning the intro I modified the drum and bass track so that it corresponds to the 2003 intro.

@@lp.music_ii It just so happened that Gone Shootin' VH1 version Is my favorite live track by them, and I also like the 2003 version, so I picked up on those details in the spot
