This template is a prototype and push code function, which cannot be used for direct patchwork cutting. Instruction: 1 Drawing the whole outline according the old prototype. Then mark 4 important coordinate points(A,B,C,D). 2 Draw Line ①~⑤. 3 Draw S size or L size ccording different displacement. 4 Draw Line ⑦~⑨. 5 Draw lines to connect remaining points. You can put the slit anywhere. You can even ‘sew’ or put together the slit in the pattern then cut the fabric based on you already adapted PRE sewn slit.
This shape is Bunka-style sloper block. I found it similar to the size and style from Pattern Magic book by Tomoko Nakamichi, check the last 4 pages at the end of the book for more info and the pattern with different sizes.

Classic Royalty shows how you can use the ruler (prototype)as a base and then use your measurements to increase/decrease to your size. You will probably need to trace the ruler and measure the size of it (perhaps the pattern traced from the ruler is an US size 6), then take your measurements and increase/decrease the size of your sketch. Reminder- Some body measurements such as the shoulder length, neck circumference is standard. Here is a link that may better help explain it. Hi, looking into these Chinese rulers right now. Did you ever figured out what were the: circle, triangle, "crescent moon" cut out shapes on the bodice and sleeves? Thanks :)
Can you use a tranalate program to try and translate the instructions that come with it. I have also looked at buying these. I want a simple way to draft my bodice patterns. But may as well be better off just make the blocks and be done with it. But I wanted it on a template or electronically rather than paper as I will be moving soon.
