As someone obsessed with keeping the entire roster near the same level the favored exp is huge for me. Also really love the camera movements in dungeons and fights. It is a little touch but honestly goes a long way to keeping me engaged. Really loving this game so far. I was excited since the kickstarter was announced in 2020 and I can honestly say it is everything I wanted it to be.
Yeah, I love switching party members in and out to try out different comps! And yeah the way the camera moves in some instances really helps brings the visual beauty of this game to the forefront.
Cool well made video. Did a better job at selling the game then the actual advertisements. I have a fatigue when it comes to 2.5d rpgs so ill pick this one up later ig

It looks like a modern version of suidoken 1 and 2 (rpgs from the original playstation era)
It is a spiritual successor.

I thought that's how I did pronounce it, but to be honest I'm notoriously bad a pronunciation so I wouldn't be surprised if I fucked it up
@@kratosmvn_ Maybe it was right and I'm just bad at hearing. It sounded like the first syllable was rhyming with "pie" when it should be like "pay".

@@kyogre-blue If the Ei is supposed to be a long a (like pay) sound, using the phonetic spelling aye might not be the best choice. Aye is an actual word and is pronounced with a short i sound ( like I).

I dunno... There's ff7 rebirth and unicorn overlord to contend with.

10 hours in and the game have a lots of flaws

Soundtrack are good, i really love how sakuraba and naruke work together
Personaly i find the battle gameplay to be lacking
you can't customize your characters enough
the front and the back are here for almost nothing it's not used enough
battle takes too long thanks to how slow the UI and battle animations are
Auto was a really bad idea too but since the combat is so slow it's usefull actually for trash mob even tho it's a bad idea
And too much mini games like card, chocobo, food, beyblade, oh god i hate that kind of thing, i'm here to play a JRPG, not mario party
I will not talk about translation since everyone know how bad it is
Yeah for now i can't say the game is bad, but i can't say the game is really good too

@quangp7275 The localization isn't bad, though... I've played 50+ hours of this game so far, and I can maybe remember 1 or 2 examples of moments where I was bothered by it. And all the examples people bring up online are frankly either extremely nitpicky or just moments where the localization team made the dialogue line way more interesting. The auto-battle feature if you don't like it, just don't use it. But it is a nice QoL feature at times saving on some random encounter tedium.
