  • Motorcycle Live 2023: Norton 4K
    This is my video from the Norton stand at Motorcycle Live 2023 from the NEC in the UK. They were showcasing mostly new editions of existing models, and celebrating 125 years of Norton.
    Their bikes are beautifully engineered from the stunning V4SV sportsbike to the V4CR cafe racer to the classic 961 Commando. I think they are brilliant and it's great to see them showing off the new colours and a few older bikes.

    Thanks for watching!

      I quite like them, but it seems they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but then, I suppose nothing is.

    I think Ron Haslam's bike is the RCW588, a rotary-powered bike. He raced it in the 1991 British Superbike Championship. Twin-rotor Wankel engine, 150 horsepower, 180 mph.

    Those Limited Edition bikes, what on Earth were they thinking 🤔🙄😱 Still I don't suppose any of them will ever see light of day, so that'll save my eyes from getting sore 🙈

      🤣. I’m sure someone will like them. Maybe be able to afford them too, but yes, probably won’t see many (any?) out on the roads.

      Aye, it’s a cool bike. I suspect most things there are out of my price range too.

      Aye, not for everyone. Some have been burned by prior management, but it's good to see them showing the bikes.

      I did for that one. They cleared people out at 5pm and I stayed around for as long as possible before the security guards asked me to leave.

    Are they selling any bikes?

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  9 месяцев назад +1

      Don’t know. A bit out of my price range so I’ve not asked. Seems odd to have such a lavish stand at a show if they aren’t…

    Good they still exist. Hope they get stronger after that shameful previous owner. Günter/Nürnberg

    So after all these special editions carbon fibre all over and so on.
    Did Norton sell any bike just for real or its just another joke for the people to fall down ?

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  5 месяцев назад

      I think they do, yes. It has take a while to get the manufacturing and supply chain sorted out after the disastrous previous owners.

    Get rid of those ugly number plates holders

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  9 месяцев назад +2

      Who? Me? Or are you just telling the internet? I don’t disagree, but it seems an odd thing to comment as I doubt Norton will see it.

    Tragic, making bikes that only the very few can afford & ride. Norton went the wrong way years (& several incarnations) ago. Norton got it wrong in the same way that Royal Enfield got it SO right.

      Have one . Not rich.
      Commandos same price as some Triumphs cheaper than most Harleys and BMWs.
