😂😂😂 You crack me up…”that one looked like a beaver cut this out for me with his teeth…” 😂😂😂
🦫🦫 it happens!!
I also ditched the brad nails and started with CA glue. This is cheaper than bits. 🤣 Love the humor in your post, they make it really enjoyable while watching.
Haha true! Someone suggested 23g pin nails still help and don’t hurt the bits. - thanks for watching, Ron!
really enjoyed this one christy! I see a silver youtube play button in your future :)
Wayyyyyy down that road!!! Haha. Congrats on yours!
Okay. I’m a fan.
Just now deciding this? 🤣
ICEBERG DEAD AHEAD!!!! 😂😂😂 but for real, great video! I need to get a CNC! And when I do I know who to reach out to for help!
Haha I had fun throwing that clip in. Thanks!! Talk to you later!
Subscribed due to your self deprecating shop talk humor.
Hahah. Misery loves company. Thanks!
I'd ditch the brads. Some tape alone, maybe with clamps pushed to the edge of the board on 4 sides- not over the top of the board but snugged up to the sides will prevent lateral movement totally and leave nothing to get hit by the router. Also- you can run that bowl bit easily at 100+ IPM on the 1F, you can make the last pass be 10% overlap and the earlier passes 40% overlap. Fun stuff!
I really should ditch the brads. That’s my laziness but it has bitten me in the butt more than once. Thanks for the tip!
Mistakes are just learning experiences!
I think I’m just getting started! 💪🏼😎
Awesome job!
Thanks, Corey!
@@OakHillMillworks you're welcome!!!
If you're using a downcut it's already pushing down so you just need to keep the part from laterally shifting. A couple stops/clamps on your t-track to prevent shifting and either tape or some clamps on the corner is all you need. I personally never use use CA glue/blue tape and I rarely use double sided tape. It works, but just not a fan. Brads in the corner was fine. Loved the vid though. The beaver comment had me cracking up! We all make mistakes and that's part of learning what is best for our projects and workflow.
That’s a great point, thanks for bringing that up! Sometimes I wish I had a bunch of dog holes and cam clamps on the wasteboard. I don’t love the T track and the way that those clamps stick up so high. Thanks for checking these videos out!
I'm on an Oak Hill video tour. 😂 I have experienced the same thing with V cutting. (Disclaimer: I don't have woodworking videos published here. Yet)
Haha enjoy!!
Anyone ever tell you that you have a hugeeee amount of hair on your head. I’m jealous
🤣🤣 all the time actually. It’s so much. I actually think if it got caught in a machine or saw blade, my hair my break the machine before it sucked me in!
