Hello Bruno. Ran, what an interesting looking album, I would have pronounced that all wrong for sure. Badalamenti died, I totally missed that. I LOVED Twin Peaks, my all time favorite show largely because of the music. I also have that album you showed. I use to have an original. That is a bummer. Congrats on The Sparks purchases. Great tag Bruno.
Tres bien! Really great selection, what I like is the fact it well represents the variety of music to be readily found in London. I live in the USA now but miss London immensely for record buying. Been to many other major cities in the world and IMHO nothing comes close to the immense music landscape you can be exposed to visiting the London record stores
Hi Bruno just discovered your channel by searching for tag videos. I also showed Air in my tag too, a great debut album. The Gainsbourg album sounds interesting, I will investigate that. I have quite a few Francoise Hardy albums but only a few Jacques Dutronc tracks on comps (Le Responcible is the best I've heard). The Belgian comp look interesting. Nice tag - cheers Dale
Hello Dale, thanks for your comment. I watched your video as well. I saw you showing Air (I didn't comment, sorry). Few days ago, Françoise Hardy learnt that she was in the Rolling Stone best singers list : she said she does not understand why. People like you are pretty rare : trying to get other albums from France. Thanks. Take care. Bruno
Hi Bruno, nice range of records. Nice to see YardAct also one of my favourites of 2022, up there with Wet Leg for me. I have had the Twin Peaks sound track on CD for years and been meaning to buy it on vinyl for a long time. Your edition looks great. I wasn’t aware of the Blue Note book but it looks magnificent! I’ve subbed your channel so looking forward to more videos in 2023. Andy
Thanks Andy. Still listening to my 2022 new music. Hopefully, I will post my purchases for 2022 ranked in few days. The Twin Peaks version I have is on the label "Death Waltz". They are specialized in OST reissues : beautiful records sounding great. I recommend. Take care. Bruno
@@seizebreizh Hi Bruno, I wasn’t aware of Death Waltz, I will definitely look them up. I imagine a top quality recording of the Twin Peak soundtrack will really sound fantastic. Andy
Hi Bruno .. thanks for responding to the tag so quickly it’s much appreciated.. I have that yard act album and it’s also one of my favourites from 2022 . I also have that king gizzard album butterfly 3000. I also have the remix version 👍I’ve a few sparks albums. I want that no1 in heaven album. The single from that album are excellent. I’m not a massive fan of smile either ! Seems like We’re in the minority 🤷🏼♂️ brothers and sister is a good choice from 1973 .. really enjoyed your tag Bruno best wishes to you in 2023 🎉
Hello Rob, I watched your video soon but didn’t comment (sorry). Great list of questions : I made another video in french for the french VC. I don’t know if there will have other posts on this. We will use the tag #vinyltag2023f, with the same questions. Only 2 answers are the same between my 2 videos. I choosed BCNR for the favorite album for the French one and a mancunian band for the completed collection (The Smiths). I got « N. 1 In Heaven » few months ago but I don’t listen it often : the G. Moroder production is too much for me. I have one to go with the Sparks : « Hello Young Lovers » and I will be fine. I will make a best of 2022. I hope next week. It was the British Invasion in my collection last year !!! More than the years before. You are so creative over there ! I liked your comment during the streaming with 45rpm and Stunty. I will send a message for the French and underground Stunty (we made a video together last month - 90 mn much appreciated) : they are so different ! One is on mainstream albums (with great covers and beautiful photos 😉) The other is on confidential music (some of it are great 👍). I like when music is the main topic. Thanks for the vinyltag Rob. Great fun to do in both languages. Take care. Bruno
Hi Bruno, It's always good to see a wide range of music. Yard Act are one of my favourites at the moment. I've been trying to get a copy of "Aux armes et caetera" on vinyl for many years but without success. Sparks continue to produce some brilliant albums after more than 50 years. I really must check out Maki Asakawa. Mike
Very interesting choices! I love the Ran soundtrack (and the movie of course). I am particularly intrigued by the Storlok album I'll try to listen to it. I am a big fan of Malicorne, does it sound anything like that? Cheers and happy 2023.
Hello, thanks for your comment. I don't know enough of Malicorne to answer to your question. Storlock was a rock band and composed protest songs, with some influences from folk. You can find some parts of the album on RUclips. Many of the records produced by "Les Disques Nevenoe" are folk influenced in opposition to the Celtic flavors you usually find in Breton music in that period. I am sure you should check all its catalog (13 lps, pretty rare). Take care. Bruno
@@seizebreizh listened to it on spotify and liked it very much! Malicorne are from Auvergne so I guess they draw from different musical traditions and a bit more progressive rock influenced.
Salut, Bruno! Désolée, mon français est très pauvre. I enjoyed your selections. I must check out Dutronc. I've just discovered Nino Ferrer and have ordered 'Nino & Radiah'. I love the film 'Ran' but don't recall the soundtrack. Sparks are great too. Bon année.
Hello Bruce, Thanks for the comment. Nino Ferrer is a great one : original pressing is quite impossible to get in France nowadays. I have « Nino and Radiah ». Two versions of his single hit « The South ». He didn’t like the french version : it was a tremendous success. By the way I listened to this one few days ago. Great choice. Bonne année. Bruno
Hi Bruno, I'd like to check out the Belgian progressive jazz. I need to branch out from just modern Norwegian music in that genre. It's interesting to see the newer edition of the Twin Peaks soundtrack by Badalamenti. I bought the CD when the series was originally aired, and had some rekindled interest when I ended up living 30 minutes drive away from the hotel and waterfalls in that series for a brief while. Take care, Richard
Hello Richard, thanks for the comment. I don't know how SdBan Records manage the distribution for the Belgian jazz comp. It was purchased in Bruxelles, where the label is from... but you can get it online. I will check out your videos if there is any references of nowergian jazz. Take care.Bruno
@Breton Vinyl Corner If you are interested in Norwegian jazz, the label Rune Grammofon is a place to start. They have different styles, including progressive variants.
Salut Laurent. J'aime bien avoir ce genre d'artiste qui ne ressemble à rien d'autre dans la collection. Finalement, je n'ai pas tant de variétés dans les styles... A+. B.

Thanks Steve. I am not sure my pronunciation of Japanese names is exceptional but no complaint from a Japanese VC member in my comments... so... B.

@@vinylizingprogger thanks 🙏 !
Bonsoir Bruno. Il me semble que le premier album de Air est Premiers Symptômes. Cordialement
Bonjour Mathieu. Je ne connais pas celui-là. Il est classé en EP non pas en album. Pour les dates, c'est juste. Il semble intéressant. A+
Maki Asakawa, magnifique.... Trouvé cette année au Souffle Continu.

Ran is an interesting choice for 80’s soundtrack. Agree, Smile is over rated.
Hello, thanks for your comment. I listened to the Smile another time : some great tracks, really great, but not all of them. So... Take care. Bruno
