That whole thing is actually historically accurate. The torpedo scene is surprisingly well done Also I still don't know how the throwing of the ladder from the destroyer/cruiser to the carrier was made, that was a pretty good shot Also the various lines from various movies were pretty funny
was that cruiser that's looks like a battleship the HMS Hood I'm so confused i don't even know a American cruiser that looks like KMS Bismarck and IJN Kongo and HMS Hood
Its nice you added USS Hammann Being torpedoed. She and her crew were trying to help salvage and sink what was left of Yorktown when the Japanese sub I-168 fired torpedo's in an effort to do more damage.
This is good, and pretty accurate to what happened, She sustained heavy damage from multiple Japanese Air Attacks from Bombs and Torpedoes but unfortunately didn’t survive, despite attempts at salvaging her. Most her Air-Wing, which was away at the time for battle ended up landing on her sister ship, the USS Enterprise CV-6, Following Yorktown’s abandonment. Also … I noticed the hull had the number “6” instead of “5” on the Flight-deck, the numbers on the bow are usually their registration numbers, Yorktown’s being CV-5, while CV-6 belonged to the Enterprise. I’m guessing that was a small error?
USS Hamman, the ship sunk alongside Yorktown, was a destroyer, much smaller than the ship shown here (which looks like a cruiser). I may be mistaken but I’m pretty sure the torpedoes tore her in half. Regardless, great work
If it sunk irl, then EXPLAIN Y IT’S SITTING IN SOUTH CAROLINA RIGHT NOW(wait I just realized that the one YOUR talking about is CV 5, while a I’M thinking the CV 10)
I did that as this is supposed to take place after the Battle of Midway, when Yorktown had been hit by torpedos and bombs. She was already listing in real life, before the American's attempted to rescue her.
2-15 In another dimension where Germany and the United States fought Japan in the Battle of Midway, and the battleship Bismarck towed the carrier Yorktown😅

extremely fantastic on using USS Enterprise. I'm Amazaed. probaly for your next video could u do Sinking Of IJN Yamato-I Would Love The Idea Of A Shoutout For This! From Hms Hood Of HMRN Service

Thank you so much! The ladder throwing was a mix of the ladder holding its self up on its own, using sticky putty, and me holding it with my hand.
@@TreeBarkProductions silly putty lol
was that cruiser that's looks like a battleship the HMS Hood I'm so confused i don't even know a American cruiser that looks like KMS Bismarck and IJN Kongo and HMS Hood
The cruiser that had the ladders was a light cruiser(correct me if I'm wrong) called HMS BELFAST

I realy loved the part were the crusier's ladder snapped and the ship sank the torpedo part was accurate enough
Thanks!
I like the reference from midway the Corsair pilot looks at his damaged carrier and he checks his fuel percentage
your the first to notice that! congrats!
Non stop action. Fantastic!
Thanks!
Only bad thing is that the ship is the enterprise

Yeah the carrier is the cobi uss enterprise
Wow really great Video 👍👌. A Stop Motion Video is not easy but you show us it’s possible and looks fantastic at the end. Good job 👏
Thank you so much!
USS Hamman, the ship sunk alongside Yorktown, was a destroyer, much smaller than the ship shown here (which looks like a cruiser). I may be mistaken but I’m pretty sure the torpedoes tore her in half. Regardless, great work
I used the HMS Belfast as a stand in for the Hamman.
I didn’t want to break the ship in half so I just had her capsize.
Happened in battle of midway in 1942
Correct.
If it sunk irl, then EXPLAIN Y IT’S SITTING IN SOUTH CAROLINA RIGHT NOW(wait I just realized that the one YOUR talking about is CV 5, while a I’M thinking the CV 10)
Actually, Yorktown (CV 5) was sunk on June, 8th, 1942, as was USS Hamman, both were sunk by a Japanese submarine.
But in 1942 us navy have won the battle of midway over Japan
All you have to do is to shoot the dam torpedoes you battleship

How is it sunken if its docked at North Carolina
This is the USS Yorktown (CV-5) of the Yorktown-class. Not the USS Yorktown (CV-10) of the Essex-class.
It's so funny because it has 6 instead of a 5 (is this enterprise?)
Yes. I used Enterprise to represent Yorktown
Kms Bismarck is here to help?!
i like how there are memes in a history video
lol, thanks. Its my style.
Japanese aircraft : ima Bout to end this mans whole flight deck.

You did that lusitania video a while ago didn't you and I said that ship was titanic when it was
I did. I used a modified titanic to represent the Lusitania.
@@TreeBarkProductions yeah your videos are good though especially the sinking of yorktown
@@micahnelson6973 thank you
Are you gonna say that USS Yorktown was CV-5? Because the aircraft carrier CV-6 was USS Enterprise.
I used Enterprise in place of Yorktown simply because I didn’t have a USS Yorktown.
I Finally got the titanic model and built it today!!!!!!!
yay!
This channel is underrated! Awesome job! Also why is there a 6 on the flight deck? Shouldn’t It be a 3?
Thank you so much! While it should be a 5 on the deck, I used my Enterprise model to represent it, so there was only a 6 available.
@TreeBark Productions oh ok keep up the good work!
Also quick note, CV-3 is Lexington class carrier USS Saratoga
It should be 5

Nice vid but why is KMS Bismarck towing the Yorktown under z American flag?
Because I didn't have the actual ship, so I substituted it with Bismarck.

The Last Iowa-Class Battleship was launched on 7 December 1943
Damn train cj
There are many battleship that try to save USS Yorktown but it failed
In real life, they were small destroyers and cruisers.

USS Yorktown was CV 5,
USS Enterprise was CV 6

Not to be rude but uss your town was cv 5 not cv 6 but it's interesting nonetheless
No worries. I didn't have a USS Yorktown, so I used my USS Enterprise. (Both Yorktown-class)
I can't believe the number on her deck is wrong. it should be 5. 6 is the Enterprise
I only had an Enterprise, which I used to represent the Yorktown.
Cool video. Can you make an animation about lego carphatia?
Perhaps sometime. The problem is that I would have to make a custom ship, which can take a while, and get expensive.
