Historical fact: All 4 of the completed Iowa class Battleships were Preserved: Iowa is in Los Angeles, California, New Jersey is in Camden, New Jersey, Missouri is in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Wisconsin is in New Port News, Virginia.
The Wisconsin is in Norfolk, VA. Not Newport News- a little farther down the bay :)
Imagine being named after New Jersey
@@theguywhoasked8475 Better then being named after Missouri or Iowa
Did you know that bb-65 was going to be USS Montana but due the rising number of Aircraft carriers. USA released that Aircraft carriers will more powerful and useful plus ww2 had come to a end so USA canceled the project when it was like %40 done

In 1945 Japan surrendered to the Allies on the Missouri and WWII ended. They fought bravely against huge evil in the oceans. Sacred ships! Thank you for this video.
I’ve had this Set for a month or two now ,it is sitting atop my shelf and is my Collections prized jewel
This one looks like it’s a great model
As an owner of her, her construction was very satisfying
@@revvingnoodle7192 Noted for when I get it!
As a proud owner of her, bismarck and enterprise, she is worth the price of admision and her construction, i wish cobi can build some day the Akagi, Roma, Richelieu and Hood
Wow! I was thinking the exact same thing about COBI. I absolutely love the italian and french naval architecture during this time and I've looked into constructing Roma with my own lego pieces, though I didn't really follow through with that. But afterwards, I contemplated building Richelieu, and I've been working on it for a few months now, and its turning out pretty good! I was also questioning why the HMS Hood was not in their collection.
@@kade4503 theb again i believe they're testing the waters, no pun intended, with having the most famous ships built first before tge others, and i do agree that those other ships are quite nice
@@revvingnoodle7192 Oh, because I was getting the idea that they were making these iconic ships to generally appeal to a larger audience. Perhaps to gain a greater platform of buyers to then release other, less iconic products.
Rip the hood. Inloved the design of the ship.
Yes I would love the Richelieu it is my favorite ship cause I think the quad turrets have a good design
I was hoping that COBI wpuld make the USS Montana next. Even though she was cancelled. But either way, Iowa/Missouri will still be a masterpiece. Thanks BrickMeet. 😁
Yes that would be amazing if they did! (Also cuz I’m from Montana)
Uss Montana/ Uss Ohio

Cobi needs to make the USS Arizona BB-39
YES!
Agreed
My dad served on USS Iowa that ship has sentimental meaning to me blessed to all who served on her o7 salute to all the men and women
I served on the IOWA from 88-90 and were the best years of my navy career. What years did your dad serve.
Really nice build and set. the only thing I spotted was that at 13:03, You accidentally put the 2nd funnel on Missouri backwards. The gap was just coincidental so its not your fault. Other than that, its a really nice brick model.
Also, the "Mighty Mo" is the most famous battleship in history, such as IJN Yamato, KMS Bismarck, HMS Hood, etc.
I just got this model a week ago. It was a fun build and the finished product also looks great.
Du und das "Boot"...
Einfach Großartig! 😎👍
Vielen Dank für die extreme Mühe die Du Dir gemacht hast.
I love how one small piece can become huge in the next step thank you
Aside from that one gap I don't see fault. This set does a very good job of concealing studs and looks amazing!!!
Wow,iowa on of the most beautiful and monster battleship, one thing nice,he is still alive in san francisco. Nice video bro!!
I would love this and the yamato displayed on my living room or near the entrance on our home locked on a durable see-through plastic cabinet. Oh, also the b17 bomber too. 😆 new subscriber here
This may not be the lego we want but its the lego that we need
Завтра идем с сыном покупать модель Миссури. Спасибо за ролик.
Thanks man for showing this amazing ship.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice presentation. Love your channel♥️♥️
I love warship lego I love it
That Coni set was 100+ bucks and I could not buy it ;( but luckily I found this vid and its amazing thx for the vid :)
COBI have best looking models for me
Last time I was this early, was never actually, love the videos and can’t wait to see what else you’ll review
Great video Brickmeet and also you should make a series of,"Will it float",for the ships lol.
Unfortunately there is little point to such series, as the result would be the same for all COBI-ships.
They do float. But not in a way we expect from a ship.
First they swim quite nicely but then sink to a level where the entire deck is under water and just some of the superstructure remains above it.
And yes, I've tried... :)
@@feanor7047 yea u need some sort of ballast or some rockets for it to float like it did from a ship, and I think it's just a model

This is what I'm waiting for
i love it so much, its so sad that battleships are no longer used anymore and no more by the naval forces today, they are only museum ships :'(, they were so powerful in WW2 and cold war but now they are obsolete, i dont know if cobi will release the Arleigh Burke or Ticonderoga missile destroyers, it will be awesome :D
Ticonderoga is a cruiser

man, i hate that i can´t get this amazing brand in Mexico, there is amazon of course, but it'd be great to find it in local stores. Anyway, keep doing these videos, they are great!
I’m in Canada I get them all from Amazon I have to wait for shipping but usually only 5-7 days and I have building them. I’m doing the RMS Titanic right now 2800 peaces it’s been fun so far.
I’m getting this for Christmas probably so thank you now I’ll now what it’s like

Please, COBI. Release a model of USS Massachusetts. My birthday was three days ago, and I’d be the happiest guy in the world to have my favorite battleship as part of my collection.
I also want COBI to make a battleship model with individual decks inside with window and door holes.
Wow 😲
Very nice
This is epic! I want to get this!
Probably gonna get Bismarck and Prinz Eugen too.......
Very good ship I like it
That's really cool, always loved the look of the Iowa ships, I got the Enterprise not to long ago and if I get another I'll definitely get this

U know it is a huge model when the speed build review is almost 20 minutes. Lamo
The USS Missouri was my favorite battleship in history, she served World War 2, Korean and The Gulf War. She is now docked on Pearl Harbor in Oahu, Hawaii, and the best thing is, Philippines is near at Hawaii, its just Northeast.
You're from the Philippines?
@@BrickMeet Well yes, because we were Allies on WW2, from "The Battle of Leyte Gulf", and "The Battle of the Philippine Sea." And did you know, IJN Yamato's little sister "IJN Musashi" was sunk on Philippine Territory, I found her location, she rest on Sibuyan Sea on Romblon, the middle.
Where do you live in the Philippines?
@@BrickMeet As you see, im on Region VII Central Visayas, Negros Oriental, Tanjay City, Isabella Subdivision near at the river side
@@BrickMeet I love ships, and we have WW2 Destroyers that are still active in this day, like BRP Rizal, BRP Quezon, BRP Rajah Humabon (Museum Ship on Naval Port, Cavite w/ the Hull Number 11), etc. We don't have Battleships, Aircraft Carriers, but we have Cruisers, Corvettes, Submarines, Frigates, Destroyers, etc.
Wow 😊 cool

I have this one it is awesome
Wow

Cool ! I hope there will be cruiser and destroyer soon
I like the song and sing
I guess it works which is interesting. I like to watch scale model building as inspiration to draw. your videos have helped me with my tank drawings too! thank you! (I also watch Plasmo and Nigh shift and other modelers to see all the detail and build up of tank hulls and ships)
USS Iowa has a sad past, it carried a President that died, almost got Torpedo’d by the USS William D. Porter, then a Turret explosion in the 80’s
Bro this is sooo satisfysing
those F4U CORSAIR OR F4F WILDCAT Planes whatever looks soo cute ive never seen lego part like that
vs yamato
nice
i love war ship and tank
I love it, just a little annoyed that the other ships at the end aren't at the same scale
Actually they are all in the same scale. (1:300)
The sizes of the 4 ships didn't differ too much in reality.
Iowa: 270m long / 33m wide
Yamato: 263m / 39m
Bismark: 250m / 36m
Enterprise: 247m / 33m
The Enterprise may seem a bit too large, but that is due to its flightdeck being higher up and thus being closer to the camera.
I have all 4 ships and they match very well.
Hmmm. Looks like lego pieces. Nice build. (Vid popped up on my feed) I'll have to look into this cobi brand.
BIG LOVE😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😘
Waw good
Thanks for another boat :) they are my favorite builds :)
Thanks for the heart :D
Great video! It's over six months late, I know. But I have a little nitpick: you put the aft smokestack in backwards.
I wish cobi would make the HMS Hood next
My great grand uncle was the captain of the Iowa. shame i never met him though, died a few years before i was born.
