Because as humans we are always trying to control things and do things on our own yet we don't realize that God is our king he controls all things and we can't do anything without him. I'm not as close to him as I wish I was and I'm still young. But I hope my faith grows stronger.

I heard this song for the first time in the back of a cop car in handcuffs after suffering from drugs for weeks. that night I had been through a rape, wrecking my car ans totaling it, my bf breaking up with me, the house we shared together gone. I had lost everything from drugs and God was speaking to me through this song. Thank u Lord God for the mercy I received and the love I'm not worthy of that you give me anyways.

I've been fighting cancer for a year now, and this song really hits home to me. I always feel foolish when He answers prayer and my first reaction is surprise. Then when I see how He's answered my prayers, I'm just in awe of the way He does it. We have to stop boxing Him in. There are no limits to the one who ignited the stars, spins the planets, and still has time to feed the birds and fishes. So, for us who He sent His Son for, our glory is waiting.

Actually, you are being misinformed. Satan, Lucifer, was cast out by God! Remember, no sin dwelled within the world when it was created until Lucifer (who was in the Garden of Eden) convinced Eve that the fruit (Apple) will bring her another form of happiness (sin). Now, after sin entered the world, God destroyed the earth with water except for his faithful few (Noah and his family) and God promised that He will never destroy the earth by water again. However, sin was still in the world. Not sure if you remember the story of Lot! These were the days of prostitution, infidelity, homosexuality, idol worship etc. After all that (not to make the story so long), God, Himself, came down in the form of a baby through the virgin Mary. This was to restore us back to Himself. So when Jesus was born, there was news that a King had been born. King Herod, himself acknowledged that! He asked the three wise men to return and show him where the newborn King was so he could go and worship Him. So yes, Jesus is the King of the world. This song touches my heart on so many levels. I used to be a self proclaimed atheist. When I got baptized. I started to realize that's what most ppl do. Try to put God in a box to try to understand Him. That simply tries to put him on our level. Before there was ANYTHING, there was God. If we try to stop putting him in a box, maybe we could understand Him better. Love the song!!!
