- If you are confused on where to start your application process for an LLM (Graduate Degree in Law/ Masters in Law) in the USA, this is the place to be! #law #lawschoolsusa #llmdegree
Primarily, this is my experience of applying to an American Law School through LSAC for an LLM Degree and I genuinely wanted to share this information. Rightly so because the information is so sparsely available. So, I hope this video helps!

Best video I ever watched. Thank you
I am blessed to watch this tutorial. Thank you a lot and warm regards to you.
Do we have to physically send the original documents or photocopied?
Hello maam,
I'm in my final semester of undergrad in a Naac A+ Indian College. I had scored around 7.5 Cgpa..and would like to apply for JD programs
How does the LSAC convert the cpa to American (/4) GPA.. And approximately how much 7.5 cgpa would be in GPA..
Also some universities accept GRE instead of LSAT.. Can I go with that route?
Thankyouu..
Prapoosa KC, you have a wonderful name, sister. and you work is even more wonderful! i once met a nice sister who has a voice similar to yours. you both are nice people.
This is the most simple, direct and comprehensive video I’ve ever watched. May God bless you.
Helpful
Hello, are all this LLMs by law schools fully funded?? Please.
Very helpfull
Amazing video.. So helpful❤.
Thank you so much
Helpful !! keep it up!!
Thank you, this was extremely helpful. With respect to sending original transcripts, i wanted to know if we get them back after they authenticate it, as they are our original marksheets
We do not have to send original transcripts. The transcripts should be send as a xerox copy which should be notarized by the university itself.
@@RnPvibess what do you mean when you say "notarized by the university"? (asking since for me only notaries can notarize documents?)
@@jelenaskodric6680 Notarized by the University meaning the University should authenticate the document with its official stamp and date on the photocopy of your transcript. All the best!
Oooops!! after watching your video I realized that I forgot to mail the transcript request form along with my documents!now what happens??I am super stressed!HELP
what is post-secondary education according to lsac . I didn't get that .Could you please let me know that
Hello! Thank you for your help. Could please say should I buy Law School Report fee? What it is? Also what about Diploma. Do I need legal translation of it. It is already in two languages: in my native and English
very helpful.
Can you please guide me how to add ielts score.
thanks
As in the video , you can go to the language result section & upload your ielts result pdf directly.
Thank you so much for the information but I had one doubt, I will be graduating after 6 months. So do I need to wait till then to verify my transcripts or I can do it right away. Can you please help me out ??
If we got selected in one university then can we wait for the other one for its letter without rejecting the offer of the first one?
How can connect with you,i need your service
Kindly reach us at infoinfinity08@gmail.com
Thank you so much. The video is amazing!!!
😊
Thanks for sharing this! Btw, which one is better.. asking the referee to make a specific recommendation letter for 1 university or a general recommendation for all the schools I want to apply for?
If you want to target a specific University for its course and want to show your experiences for that specific course and university, 1 LoR specifically for 1 University would be great. But, if you are applying for a course that is apt for all the universities you are applying, 1 general LoR is great too! I don't think that will play a role in your acceptance.
Thank you so much Prapoosa!
Pleasure Shreya :)
what is the difference between JD & LLM?
Thank you. it is very helpful and informative
Hiii is need to any English test.like gre, ielts, tqefl, Duolingo for llm
Yes, in the US, TOEFL is the usual English Language Test.
Very nice!
Thank you
APi Help me please
Glad i found your youtube channel it is really helpful!! anyway, I read somehow in the website that the recommender could submit the recommendation letter to LSAC directly (via DHL), not via email, do you have any experience about it? thank you in advance
Hello, could you find any information about it? It’d be really helpful if you can share, thank you
wow great information 👍
Is LSAT necessary for northwestern or other US llm courses??
No Neha, for LLM one does not need LSAT.
Hello, how do I edit the transcript section to include another Post graduate law school program?
My school has sent my records twice and LSAC keeps asking for a diploma. What exactly did your school send to LSAC? That way I can tell mine what yo send. Also I heard that you got your docs notarized, is this step necessary? I would really appreciate your help 🤗💜👍🏼
Can we process for undergraduate ie JD?
Yes, there is a completely different process for it and starts primarily by giving a Test called LSAT. And, for a JD, one needs a former undergraduate degree in a different subject area. These conditions are not exclusive. Kindly see this link here for more information www.lsac.org/jd-applicants/steps-apply-jd-programs
Nice work!
I’ve a query regarding sending documents. I’ve done my honors degree before LL.B from a different institution. Do they have to send both higher education certifications separately,or those to be sent by Higher education commission in Pakistan, a govt.official platform to verify the authenticity?
Can we send documents directly,If documents are duly verified by HEC and foreign affairs?
The other question is, duolingo is being considered now a days in US cause of COVID. How can we upload Duolingo? if it is acceptable by University but there is no such option on LSAC for such test. I hope the question is clear.
To your first query, Is your Honors Degree related to law? If not, you do not need to send it. One must only send the documents related to Law, on their undergraduate degree. If yes, your law degree documents are to be verified by the University- main University Office, sealed and sent to the LSAC Address mentioned in the video.
@@24143asim I am not sure in Duolingo is considered for an LLM. You can privately reach out to LSAC or your perspective university to know this answer.
@@RnPvibess Thank you for your response. Right now, I'm stuck into a situation that LSAC has raised an objection that documents must be sent by the concerned institution not by yourself. Although, they are officially sealed and stamped by the concerned institutions. Furthermore, LSAC is not quick responsive to emails. Any recommendation plz?
If it is possible, May I have your email address please?
How do I know which one should I pay for? 35 or 59 dollars?
15:44 it should be notarized? what if we have the original seal of true copy from our university?
do we need to notarized it as well? because I dont see such requirement in the LSAC page
Notarized is getting stamped from the University along with the first LSAC page from the University. In the first true copy, I believe there isn't any stamp.
Hello is the transcript evaluation a one time payment or it needs to be paid each time a school requests an evaluation? Thank you
Transcript evaluation service is a one time fee. You can apply to many universities with one time payment.
@@RnPvibess thank you so much
I appreciate the response
I created an account for JD by mistake instead of LLM. What to do? LLM account is not opening because of already existing JD Account.
You can use another email address and open an LL.M account
