IMO pants are the most important part of the fit. Some heavy tech pants, tapered cargos etc. with a basic t-shirt still conveys the tech aesthetic.. Where as a tech-y shirt or jacket with plain jeans or anything else just looks ridiculous XD Just putting my 2 cents out there. Opinions?
Fully agree with this. Got a pair of Enfin Leve pants and pretty much anything I wear with them, provided it's black or white, looks ‘correct’ so to speak.

I bought some really nice black 4-pocket pants (I think they're called) from Riot Division and they faded pretty fast. Those exact Nike pants I was able to find at a Burlington and a couple other generations at places like Marshalls, TJmaxx and Sierra from 25-35 usd. I've also been very impressed with some of the Levi cargos and at closeout stores on clearance grabbing them for $15 is great. There is definitely some " regular " clothes that styles correctly can fit this look and some of them do include some sort of performance and or utility functions.
So I really like the aesthetic of these pants, and I do alot of parkour so I'd like to use a pair of these while doing it. Which of these is the most comfortable/flexible pair of pants on this list? Thank you!
I don't know how you guys missed Oakley's Latch collection last fall, I've got the pants and they almost look like legit Acrnm stuff, water resistant and everything, costed me like $70 CAD on sale.
I have the Uniqlo pants, they are very straight but at the cuffs there are elastic with toggles so you can cinch them at your ankles. Not exactly a taper but brings them more in. Also, water beads right off of them and the tag claimed its water resistant due to the way the fabric is woven or something.
Would LOVE a video about the hiker core aesthetic you keep flagging up. I find it really intriguing as someone who has to be out a lot with my dog who has to have an hour or so of exercise outdoors every day.
if you're going to make a video about military surplus clothing that is usable for techwear, or a video about affordable jackets, you'd might like the Bundeswehr Flecktarn Parka. It's the Parka of the german army, usually aviable for around 30 bucks, it has many pockets, drawstrings to alter the silhouette and there are tactical zippers at the arm pits for venting in the summer. It's in a camouflage pattern though, but you can dye it black as an easy diy project.

i swear by hollister stretch joggers- sounds dumb, but you can get techwear inspired one, utility ones, basic joggers too. they all look like cargos, and feel like them as well; i love the black camo ones rn w/ some grey tactical boots n a tee
some work pant cargos can be a bit techweary, but often not so tapered and no straps. There are jogger ones too. Most are cotton drill so very durable. the budget conscious can also claim it on tax as a work expense ;)
great, i have a typo in the answer t 30m3s comment you put into the video :D. some more controversial pants you mentioned there. instead of mentioning the controversy about them you could have concentrated more on the functuon even the harem pants or so have, like freedom of movement. for example i saw some videos of people doing parkour/freerunning in these harem pants - which acrnm also utilised in its acrnmjitsu commercial. you also didnt mention breathability or water resistance on most of the pants alternatives you covered, maybe you could have put some information into the vid that people can dwr treat these pants allthough they dont have inherent waterproofness. also some info about the breathability of these garments could have been nice allthough that is hard in this kind of videos where you dont have hands-on experience , especially with things like breathability which dies not have a unified measurement standard. after all, most of us wear techwear for some kind of function, not just looks. but - nice video, thanks for sharing, keep it up!

my frinnd, heres a lifehack of a year, thats what i do for a while now, you go to cheap but fashiony shops h&m zara etc... you find some skinny cargos, take 2 sizes up, cuff them tighter, roll them up twist outside of the seam as far as you can towaqds inside (below knee) to keep trhem tight you put in rubber band in the cuff you made so thet dont unroll, put the side pockets where you feel comfortable and kaboom, you look like cyber ninja

Those cheap taobao techwear pants are crap. Even if it's made of cotton, the quality in consistent. Length of the leg strap are of unequal length. And their belt loop are too small to fit through even for a normal sized cobra belt.
here is a suggestion instead of showing yourself most of the time try to show product that you are reviewing or suggesting so that the video wolud m be more interesting(try to show them on full screen ). no offence it's just a suggestion

That totally makes sense. I'd do the same in your shoes. Really helps being able to see things in person. Shopping online is terrible in many ways.

I can confirm about the uniqlo cargos as well. I didn't even need to cinch them when I've rolled them up. Nice and lightweight for summer
