Graham is hitting an Ecclesiastes moment I think,
"All things are wearisome,
more than one can say.
The eye never has enough of seeing,
nor the ear its fill of hearing.
What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:8-9
Good Reminder. Blessings 😇
We can only hope. Drink from the well and never thirst again.
@@castleincorporated Jesus the living water, amen!
Love an Ecclesiastes quote ❤
I feel like Ken is acting like a caring dad helping Graham go through what he might want to do. Great content!
Graham is a great guy. I've had many conversations with him over due diligence on advertisers. People want to throw stones over ftx but won't recognize he's likely helped a million 20-30somethings to become financially independent.
But Ftx though. And him never taking real responsibility makes him a complete idiot
@Eric Anderson he's brought about billions in benefit to normal people, getting them interested in money. Just in my small town in Ohio I know dozens that have taken his advice and got into investing.
@@InvestmentJoy feel obligated to donate whatever amount of money they paid him over the course of his overkill advertising and promotions in his video. And more than that amount if he invested it into other things, which he probably did. He gave worthless advice. And actually man up and own his mistake, unlike the sorry video he made where he just made excuses.
Ah yes destroyed many lives with his boosting scams what a great guy
He's definitely improved many lives but that doesn't absolve him of the scams he's promoted
Living for Graham being involved in the Ramsey world…George, Dave and now Ken. Love it.
Actually Ramsey world is for noobs. Ramsey thinks he is Jesus himself.
I was in the same rut as Graham when I was his age. From 25 to 30 (ish) I put in 60 hours a week above my regular full time job to renovate real estate. I did very well, but by the time I was in my early 30s I was done with it. I felt I had accomplished what I set out to accomplish. I sold all my properties, and when I turned 35 I started a new business in the agriculture industry, and did that for about 5 to 10 years. Sold that business, and just started a new venture in the candle business. I am sure I will do this for about 5 years and hopefully sell this too. For me it's about the challenge of building something off the ground from nothing and into something. Sounds like Graham is the same way.
I agree 100% with the time we lose passion for the thing, I'm 32 and working on my 4° business as well, with the time you learn that changing is not bad, but necessary.
Thanks for your comment. How did you move from one industry to the next, if you don't mind my asking? I am in a similar situation, but now on my fourth move, and have no idea what to do.
I've been in the same job for 12 years, complete cruise control. Im happy! But.....i interviewed for a part time side job and got it. I didn't realise how much i would enjoy doing something new. Im feeling appreciated, i feel like my experience is valued, and best of all i don't have the angst i had about work in my younger years. Just having a great time and now i have options.
@@MrStuartmdean just different interests. I love real estate. I also love gardening and agriculture. The candle biz I kind of fell into during covid as a hobby.
I want to build a food forest, church, and Christian community on the same property.
Balance is essential for longevity and satisfaction in life. Too many are tooo obsessed, toooo specialized, toooo driven, then at the end of the day they're spent - exhausted, confused and often sad. Create balance by including downtime and rest, along with time for family, friends and hobbies. They add value, too!
I am learning this, a friend and I fell out because of this, she would always tell me BALANCE I would get busier and busier when I got a promotion at work I was like a zombie, no lunch breaks, working 12hrs not responding to check in messages from family and friends, I always felt I need to get this done, laptop always open even when I'm off, I thought she was just mad that I'm not so available anymore, she said it was a turn off to reach out and get a reply days later. She has a high position at her job as well so I didn't understand it, it made me feel some way and we have not spoken since. I moved from one burn out job the company downsized and I thought it was a blessing, I thought free only to be promoted at a job I took for more freedom and the cycle begins again. I am a work in progress, I try not to care so much and turn off work, I used to be a fun, life of the party, happy hour after work woman, now its work, and sleep. I need to find that balance!
💯 work hard but play hard, don’t be like graham
The most important thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.
How can this person, ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER be reached please...
Wow! I just looked up this person out of curiosity and I'm super impressed with her qualifications. Thanks for sharing.
@@susannnico You guys tried real hard to make this genuine but that’s is ultimately what makes this look fake. You tried to hard. And remember there’s only 1000 other people being paid to promote some other “guru”.
Graham needs some balance in his life. Family. That’s where the joy is.
Family isn't for everyone. Maybe he just needs a break.
Correct Gina. And if you think it’s not for you you need it twice as much.
He just got married
Praying for you Graham. I been there and may the Lord lift you on eagle wings and peace be with thee brother.
Graham has done an incredible job building his business, and is truly the nicest guy. Building something away from the spotlight will be something you enjoy greatly. Sometimes you need a change to maintain the drive
Big fan of both .
Don't think Graham is nearly religious enough to work with Ramsey on an ongoing basis.
Great to see Graham outside of his offices. He seems so relaxed. I can tell you all about BURNOUT. It's a real thing. Wherever Graham goes, I will follow. Ken earned my sub.
He’s burnt out. You can tell. But working every day with no time off will do that to you.
Ken Coleman is so good at interviewing! Really enjoyed this show.
Bless him. One day the thing that makes him the most happy will totally change
I stopped following this kind of stuff years ago but this Ken guy comes in prepared, really understands business and asks really good, interesting questions. Hope to find a guy like this to work for one day hahaha.
Love the integrity of this conversation.
Love Graham Stephan! He got me interested in personal finance.
Really good interview - Thank you 👍👍
No man ever died saying " I wished I worked more and created more money and created more xxxx" You have to live life and smell the flowers. I would rather more time than money at this point in my life. Money is now a tool to buy time.
I completely agree. Money is a tool to be able to enjoy life in different capacites but not having it does not limit us from enjoying life. It’s just different things you can learn to enjoy. The most beautiful things a free.
And people can’t seem to get enough money, it’s sick. We need to redesign society and do away with the monetary system and create a resource based economy! That’ll do away for the need for people to make useless RUclips videos for the sake of making money. Not to say some aren’t good but a lot is garbage.
This video will help so many people. Great job to Ken for hitting this topic and stepping through it so well and to Graham for being so open.
@Eric Anderson I'm sure Grahams followers did not have a total of 100 million dollars to start with...
@Eric Anderson There was so many other people who advertised for FTX.
I love the color grading for this video.
Great video. We are all seeking for financial independence and a better way of life. This is not difficult to achieve with savvy investing, a frugal lifestyle, and cautious budgeting. I'm glad I learned early on to work hard for financial independence. As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor, My husband and i never earned more than a middle class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $4M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock.
@Lloyd Bernard I agree with you. I started investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money with an investment advisor and in seven months raised almost $873,000.
@@lisaollie4594 Any chance you can recommend who you work with for those of us who want to make the right plays now and be better positioned for a healthy retirement?
@@baileymclean8186 Do your due diligence and opt for one that has tactics to help your portfolio continue consistent and steady growth. "LISA ELLEN SHAW" is accountable for the success of my portfolio, and I believe she has the qualifications and expertise to accomplish your objectives.
@@lisaollie4594 Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
That’s awesome so now you can be frugal at 58 except retired, sounds fun
I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year... Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life.
Yeah!! It would be more beneficial and yield more profit if you actually trade on cryptocurrency, I've been trading since the dip, I've made so much profit trading.
This season has been really great, I've been making massive profits on my Btc trades , all thanks to Expert Fergus waylen.
Extraordinary is the right word for expert Fergus, he's experienced as a trader and so unique..
I'm honestly surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of his clients testimony last week in CNBC world news
Well, you are saying the fact. I invested $4,000 with fergus Waylen. and earned $12,000 in 7 working days.
I like this content! POV is spot on.
Haven't watched Graham in a while but watched his reaction content channel and his enthusiasm in his videos seemed to slip over time. Part of what made his channel great was the enthusiasm for personal finance and financial topics and his reactions to people messing up. The FTX event was probably quite stressful for him as well.
I was just watching Graham's podcast with TechLead from last year. Sounds like Graham took his advice.
I love your Honesty And your channel. :) I've been wondering the same question. At the peak of minimalism 2019-2020 I wanted to jump in and become a youtuber. Or wished I had 10 years ago. I'm still a minimalist, but with Minimalism falling out of trend, so many good youtubers quit, burned out. It wasn't the trend loss, it was the redirection, and the constant battle of keeping your audience's attention, even when it became a chore more than self-thriving. And I personally don't thrive on being on camera. I saw myself quitting too, for similar reasons. And decided not to start. I have other passions I'd rather spend the time on and build, other than "Influencer". Love this video. You're both great! Happy to keep following, see where your new ideas take you.
We love Graham ❤
I love this interview.
Great conversation!
Graham seems like a good guy. I like him.
Finally he saw the light
Its called WORK for a reason......after a while it sucks no matter how much $ it makes
Great interview.
Graham needs to take a year and enjoy and just get a feeling for what he wants to do. Take your time and enjoy a year of life stress free and figure out Part 2 of your life.
He could vlog it and still make money, lol
Was I the only one nervous the whole time thinking Graham was going to knock his drink over. 😂
😂😂😂 me!!! I'm like.. put a cover on it dammit 😂
@@GivingMama 😆
Ken like a good uncle. Great advice all the time
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) Who you are working for, and who you are serving makes a big difference in your perspective. My hope and prayer for Graham is that he will work and serve the Lord Jesus Christ...the only one truly worth working for and serving.
What a great conversation about balance of work life to personal life
Graham's in a very familiar predicament to most type-A entrepreneurs and go-getters. Eventually you cross the finish line, start coasting and wonder 'is this really it?'.
I hope he finds his next calling.
Prison is coming fast hopefully.
Ken coleman is a mentor of mine at this point
Been awhile since I watched him.
This is incredible! Please interview more content creators! Colin and Samir would be a great next set of creators to chat with.
my problem is I have enough money to last the rest of my life and live well.. I'm not motivated to do much.. With Graham having the kind of asset he has and he is still motivated is incredible to me. With his wealth I would be working 10 hours a week maybe just to give myself something to do.. He is still so driven and motivated.. Its innate.
His self esteem is caught up in work & anxiety sets in if he is idle at all because all workaholics believe their value lies in work - it's both a good thing & a bad thing if gone unchecked.
@@Bachconcertos Very well said..
Same but I continue to work even though I am kind of burned out and tired of it lol
@@bitcoinman9202 Why? Why work when you don't have to? To impress people you don't like? To buy shit you don't need?
I wish the interviewer gave Graham more time to express his thoughts. It felt like he rushed the next question or sharing his thought. I think he wanted to help him process and he definitely had good questions but it didn’t feel as smooth. Felt like he kept cutting him off. Which wasn’t he was trying to do but kept coming off that way.
Graham is a legend he will me missed.
Not sure if people are supposed to die at “50”
People make their best discoveries later in life. I plan on continuing to do new things even after 50😃😃
I'm just getting started at 50 because i was too afraid when I was younger. I have plenty of vigor.
My dad's been taking on some new hobbies in his fifties. He's still got lots of energy! It's changed my perspective on getting old
1:35 I feel you 100% Graham.
Graham works hard I remember him saying that’s all he likes to do is work. He finally burnt out he’s human it happens. He needs to chill out and rest. He’ll be back.
Take a break, live life, make fun content & automate your business more. Travel more too
Oh my god… let the man answer a question without interrupting him.
Yeah, I thought this was a poor interview.
You could do a reaction channel! Something fun and entertaining and educational as well. Podcasting would be cool too.
The process of discovering your next chapter is terrifying. Been there, done that. But on the other side is when you truly find what your purpose is.
This is my story - a different industry, but it could have been me sitting in that seat. Any advice on how to move forward (or on)?
It's very interesting to hear Graham's thoughts on the future of the RUclips personal finance space. Excited to listen to the full episode.
Graham you could do some public speaking events and tour across the country. That way you get to meet people and teach and encourage.
Otherwise, he could do 1 on 1 consulting. He can set his rates and be able to mentor people and share his expertise.
To Graham:
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your content for years. Can you branch into: asset protection, estate planning and tax planning?
I’d love to see you take your expertise, research and insight to that side of the financial RUclips space.
There’s lots in the financial r
That sounds like 20k views per video 😂🙅🏽♂️
He can’t. He’s not licensed to give that kind of advice
Well, that was some interesting advice.
i like this show good job ken
He was backing FTX, Itrust Cap and Celsius Network
This is when I got disappointed of him and stop listening to his advice and frankly, I have not really been watching his videos lately.
Really no way I didn't know that
His followers have made billions on his financial advice otherwise. Look at viewer sentiment and comment momentum pre ftx.
Not good. Don't watch him.
@Eric Anderson Graham didn't do anything wrong. FTX lied and stole everyone's money.
I wonder how Graham would feel about being a movie director. He likes making creative ideas and seeing them through.
What is happening to Graham is called transitioning/maturity where he starts changing priorities from material stuff to things that matter.
In the video, Graham Stephan is interviewed by Ken Coleman about his experience as a content creator on RUclips and his journey to achieving financial success. Some key takeaways for other content creators include:
Find a niche: It's essential to find a niche or topic that you are passionate about and can consistently create content around.
Be consistent: Consistently creating content and posting it on a regular schedule is important to keep your audience engaged and growing.
Focus on quality: Quality content is more important than quantity. It's better to create fewer high-quality videos than to produce a lot of mediocre content.
Diversify income streams: Don't rely solely on ad revenue from RUclips. Explore other ways to monetize your content, such as sponsorships, merchandise, and affiliate marketing.
Invest in yourself: Investing in yourself, such as taking courses to improve your skills or buying better equipment, can pay off in the long run by improving the quality of your content and increasing your earnings potential.
Overall, the video provides insights into how content creators can achieve success on RUclips and beyond by finding a niche, being consistent, focusing on quality, diversifying income streams, and investing in themselves.
Thanks chat GPT
Actually, you could use some of your same goals but that changes the marketplace that’s fluctuating
By year 3, a successful, smart RUclipsr has a very big email list of very well qualified prospects or customers. Just because they tail off on RUclips, doesn't mean they are failing, in fact, they may have realised they can make more cash and not be at the mercy of a third party by focusing on their list.
The post RUclipsr life s so interesting and I used to work with influencers very few have what it takes to make it long term the ones who do often build out teams and create their own network and talent this allows them time to themselves and the ability to build up others. Look at The Sorry Girls or The Financial Diet or Yes Theory their ability to do this long term has been in their ability to work with talent. With that said I also think the pull back from doing that is what killed Buzzfeed they had their own network of talent and tried to control them rather than work with them to grow and now look at them. : / Anyway probably more introspection needed, but I do find the rise and fall of RUclipsrs to be really interesting.
Instead of focusing on innovation, or “the next best thing,” instead double down on focusing on shifting your business model!! btw: big fan of ur work
I feel just like Graham and I'm in medicine and have been last 10 years. Burnt out and I can't see where the future of medicine is really going, especially given how bad we were during the peak of COVID stuff. It was bad to have a differing point of view for sure, even when you had the evidence based medicine and basics of science in support of your stance.
Agree. Lack of transparency and gas lighting by these corrupt alphabet agencies is disheartening.
You should be ashamed of what the medical industry did these past couple years.
@@thedopplereffect00 I mean, I don’t know where you are going with that but I’m not ashamed of anything I did. I followed the basic science that Fauci and crew tried to ignore with advanced science. Problem with that is, you can’t get to advanced without going through basic 🤷🏻♂️
What about starting a family?
Graham, if you ever decide to start looking for someone to help you with your titles and thumbnails ... hit me up! I work on Ken's team, and I've been helping Ken (and some of the other Ramsey personalities) with thumbnails on their channels for years.
Love Graham, but let's be honest. Graham is also stepping away from RUclips because he's in major lawsuits for promoting FTX. Graham is a great guy, but he and many financial influencers played roulette with their ads, and the FTX ads bit back hard.
@@MirglipEAyea. I was surprised dave ramsey team collaborate with Graham quite a bit now

@@CammieKN That's because Dave is in it for the money too. It's a business. Do you honestly think he believes credit cards are bad for you? I think he's just locked into his brand POV.
So it's Graham's fault FTX lied to him?
@Eric Anderson so you believe Graham had inside knowledge of FTX? Sounds like you are attacking his character
Is it just me or did Ken repeat what Stephen said acting like he came up with it.. Literally 1 second after Stephen said the same words... that he is not motivated, tired and has no challenge.. lol
lol. Yes
Putting words in his mouth during the first few minutes.
Bad interview
Graham is going to have kids soon and then it’ll open up a whole new door to wonderful challenges.
This Graham is why I told you NEED to REMAIN with Real Estate, to be expanding it, as well as other business ventures, to "diversify" yourself so when or if RUclips doesn't provide you the money you've been getting anymore, you have stability. RUclips is NOT a stable permanent medium.
The Iced Coffee Hour will eventually be the main channel which will be great
The finance space is overstated lol he got called out for putting his name behind FTX 😂 now he outta hustles
He’s outta hustles? His main channel has 1.5 million views together with just his videos from this month alone nvm the rest of his channels and videos collectively. Dude is just burnt out, but defffff not outta hustles or in need of money.

Love graham, would love to see him change to interview high earning professional and discuss things that people can do.
Stop watching him a while ago when all he did was comment on others videos.
I would imagine the ftx lawsuit isn't helping anything either

Graham, Some ideas on what you could work next:
Build a business that will help make housing more affordable
Build a business that will help individuals with good ideas start their own business
Graham is either going to have a wake up call and go live his life finally, or he's gonna sit here and work his entire youth away and end up being a miserable 40+ y/o man who's got money, but no longer has any drive to do anything anymore.
40 plus isn't old
@@theofficialblackdirectory I'm aware, but your average person isn't going to have the same abilities physically to do what they could before it. I'm 33 and thankfully I've taken care of myself, but I'm still not like I was when I was 20.
You can't deny that shit slows down and gets harder as we age.
Graham is growing up.
He’s finding out growing up sucks
That's disappointing that he supported FTX according to a lot of the comments here... People get a big bag of money and they just say whatever they want unfortunately.
There really wasn't a reason to suspect that they were so shady. Nobody saw their epic collapse coming.
This guy got sued for shilling FTX to his audience. That’s why he’s out of the game. Shame on this channel for giving him airtime.
Dave’s team should coach some of these people like him from a more Biblical perspective. The guy sounds like he feels empty inside, and I would bet it is because he isn’t carrying out the Christian calling to make disciples. He said he only gave himself half a day on a weekend to not work. Well, he definitely didn’t read the Bible to know how important the Sabbath is. He’ll always feel empty inside until he know Christianity. Right now he is just being of the world and living for worldly things.
I agree, but I think Ken didn't want to alienate him too much. Listen to the ice coffee podcast with George where he tried to witness to him.
who says Dave is christian?Dave Ramsey loves money, church is just the place for doing his business.
burn out? or got exposed? hmmm. As other have mentioned, if FTX scandal did not occur, would he still be burnt out?
FTX killed the credibility of a lot of Finance influencers that backed it. MeetKevin is another good example.
First thing would be to not partner with corrupt organizations, like FTX, that go against a very thesis of your entire channel.
Graham, have you ever done community service or a missions trip? Giving back to the poorest of the poor really helped me center myself and see my purpose and it was so fulfilling ❤My happiness is found in my faith in Christ and serving others (which you already DO! Not taking away any of that from you ;) ) I hope you find what you're looking for ❤
LETS HEAR FROM YOUR GUEST MORE AND YOU LESS, THANKS
*_Does FTX have anything to do with it??_*
This guy said he was at the forefront of ideas and creation..... every damn video he's ever done was first done by someone else.
You didn't give him Graham a chance to speak. He was trying to share gems and you robbed us of them.
Maybe Graham should write a book he seems like such a level-headed person for a young person.
Except he's a thief.
As Graham is a very smart guy, I am sure he placed his money well and has enough assets to be fine for the rest of his life. Why the pressure? The videos will continue to exist in the RUclips universe and still generate some passive revenue for some time until they fade into nothingness. The real estate he invested in with the RUclips money will last. I don’t think people always need to have a project or business. Why not have a family, enjoy yourself and figure things out along the way?
A.I. generated videos is going to be the future soon. We're about to reach the point where you can make a movie with A.I. We're entering a time where pure imagination is the only requirement to make entertainment. The only thing you'll really need is basic editing skills.
Someone tell Graham that Dave Ramsey’s been doing the same thing for 30+ years so as long as RUclips is here I think Graham will be fine and keep killing it, before he knows it he’ll be at 10 million subscribers and he’ll be making 20 million a year if he just keeps doing the same thing he’s doing
Graham was also called out on his lack of due diligence on FTX
@@2011hwalker He'll survive that and learn from it.
The difference between Graham and Dave is...Dave is living out his calling and Graham is trying to find his...you will never find your purpose outside of God.
I watch Graham. I suggest he take a vacation and make videos for fun. Making videos about people's problems is depressing.
I want to see Graham and Ben Shapiro interview. I know Graham has avoided politics for the right reasons but personal finance is tied to personal responsibility which conservatives value. That would be a great podcast.
