Kirkstall Abbey in Spring

The beautiful ruins of Kirkstall Abbey on the edge of Leeds, West Yorkshire. A site of a Cistercian monastery founded over 800 years ago. The ruins are free to visit with beautiful grounds around them. The abbey is especially lovely in spring when the early flowers come in to bloom.
