Offering our company drivers simple training on the Tri Pak Evolution allows our drivers to experience the in cab comfort afforded to the "Elite" Fleet company drivers. How to turn on the AC, Fan, and Heat while providing the upmost in cab comfort. AC air flows from the upper vents and heated air flows from the lower under the bunk vents. Making sure NCI driver know how to maximize their comfort is the goal of this video.
The "Elite" Fleet has recently taken delivery on new 2015 Kenworth T-680 trucks equipped with Tri Pack Evolution APU. Automatic transmission, an electrical invertor, and onboard air pressure monitoring is included in each truck. Company drivers enjoy the comfort of driving a truck and the comfort of resting in the same truck comfortably.

my fan doesnt kick on when running then a warning light comes on any quick fixes i can do like reset it
Apu system working, also AC and Fan working too. But HEATER is not working, what I need do ? 2-3 times I started my truck while apu working.
What can you do if the system is overfilled with oil?(runs for a while than shots down.)
What's the button on the bottom of the hmi for? Is there a way to manually start the tripac evolution without draining the batteries?

When it started up sounded like it wasn't getting fuel. Kicked in after a few seconds tho. My last carrier had apu's that did the same thing. must be a fuel pump issue.
My old truck did the same thing plus it smoked a whole lot on startup, but I got assigned to a new truck and it starts up instantly, no issues at all.

since the heater uses fuel to make heat it is separate from the apu itself look up espair for example the apu provides the electric to turn the fan light the glow plug fuel pump and the heater controls
Hello. Thank you for the video. I’m having a problem where I turn on the apu unit, but the a/c emblem continuously flashes and does not turn solid green. Any ideas as to why it does that?

can anybody answer for. if i turn on the apu does the battery of my truck get charger. i want to bed and turn on my apu while the whether is 10 degree i wake up while the battery were dead. i really appreciate if anyone asist me

10w30 is all right in the winter, but why don't you run 15w-40 in the trucks throughout the summer?

If you going to pass on a comment, I'll say this. We changed our fleet to the Deere Torque-Guard 15W-40 and our oil consumption was reduced by 50-75%... A major truck fleet bought hundreds of new trucks. They ran the Deere product after the break-in period for the first 100,000 miles. The service manager dropped the oil pans on 5 of the deere trucks and 5 of the competitor's. The Deere pan was much cleaner and they switched the whole fleet over to Torque-Guard. IT might be more expensive, but when you burn less and can run longer between over-hauls, it pays dividends in the long-run. It’s because the 10w30 reduces the amount of ash produced thus helping eliminate strain on the regen system.
For the heat to work the keys needs to be on?

It don't take a rocket scientist to work the apu....however it might to get the heat to work...you no everything has its downside n the apu is the heat....it NEVER works in the cold but hell yea it'll work in miami....lol
Why does pee come out of my aPew?
I know this is old but it takes more then 4 quarts of oil. More like 5 12 to 6 qrts. More on the 6 side. And if anyone overfill there oil just pull the 19 mm drain plug. On the oil pan. Unscrew it half way and oil will drain. It's messy but it's alot cheaper then going to a thermoking dealer. Them guys are straight up rip offs 1000%
