I just got the ultra pro mini snap hard case to hold my showcase Krennic (with a perfect fit dragon shield sleeve on it). The mini snap hard case fits in a normal deck box so it is perfect for me.
Nice, as a self proclaimed sucker for storage I have a single and a double Pod. I have 3D printed dividers for the token storage which is awesome but……not being able to fit cards in the token drawers is a bummer. Also, double sleeved decks will fit but Twin Suns will be an issue. Definitely would’ve went with this and may buy one anyway. Great content as always Rob!!
The Deck Pods are awesome and I saw those tokens holders as a possibility, I just had specific needs that they didn't meet. How do you find the speed of removing/inserting and cleaning up tokens with those 3D printed holders? To me it looked fiddly.
The guy that made them has very fat fingers so he over engineered them for just that lol. Like most things, although well made, the Pods rely on marketing and the Academic seems to be an actual solution.
Solid content! And also... darn you! I bought the single pod and now I've got buyers Remorse lol... i got so caught up with how pretty it was and the slide case thing. My slide case isn't even that secure (not sure if its a defect?). Now i want to get this and will probably get it
@@RobsGamingTable haha all good. Just checked my Amazon and I can still return it! Now, hoping the custom 3d printed gamegenic token tray fits the academic. And I'm with you on the stealth version. Way better being minimalistic.
Well maybe herl got a 1 time payment for his work, or maybe he was put on contract during the design process instead of royalties. Might be both though. Either way I would value anyone else's opinion on the product over any of the creators of it. 🤓
According to the Professor, who has a solid reputation for honesty, he doesn't get paid for the rating on the boxes. He started his channel off by rating sleeves and boxes for mtg. Gamegenic decided to put his ratings on their boxes because he rates them high and he's one of or maybe the largest mtg content creator. Of course, this particular product is his colab with them.
great video. Very satisfying to find more compelling solutions for functional efficient storage and use. More videos like these.
Didn't know I needed this in my life! Thanks Rob!

Great to know! Thanks for the info.

Thanks Rob! Been looking at the official Star Wars ones, but didn't quite like them... so this has given me food for thought!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔
YES!! This is what I use. It's so perfect.
The RUclipsr seems like a genuinely great person. You should check out his review of this box he designed. It's very tongue in cheek.

Sorry, but glad I could help.

Of course the youtuber gets a cut, he was the one who designed the academic.
