"what kind of person tries on clothes and then leaves them on the floor liker this"
Im going to take an educated guess and say youve never worked retail
Its not every customer thats aweful, but the aweful ones are the ones who'd do that

I absolutely despise James Corden but I’ve always liked his two Doctor Who episodes. I guess I just like it feeling a lot more down to earth everyday life, and I do like Smith and Corden’s chemistry quite a lot.

Yeah I agree, there's something just nice about a super grounded episode. James acts more how a normal person would react to being around the doctor. The mundane aspect of his character against the doctor just works.

How I understood the River Song storyline is that she was stolen as a child to be raised by the Silence, escaped as a kid and regenerated into Mel as we knew her, still with the poisoned thoughts of wanting to kill the Doctor though. Then in Lets Kill Hitler the Doctor shows her the error of her ways and she goes on the right track, only to then be kidnapped by the Silence and forced to wear the suit to kill the Doctor.

@@Heisenborg it's contrived. Her being kidnapped feels like they don't wanna deal with the consequences of any particular plot point. "Wouldn't it be crazy if River killed the doctor! I'm not a big James Corden fan, and I don't like The Lodger that much, but for some reason, I really like this one. It's one of my favourite episodes of Series 6. I assume it's just because it's got Cybermen in it, and I like seeing them in a completely terrible state and trying to rebuild.
And how was Craig so mediocre, when he was so good in Gavin and Stacey. He WROTE that as well!

A lot of criticisms for this episode are very valid but one thing about the Doctor going on about how tomorrow is the day he dies isn’t ridiculous even as he’s a time traveller, because the fixed point in time may state his age for instance, specific details associated with his death, he can put off the date as much as he wants but he’ll still age in the meantime and therefore a paradox could occur if, for instance, he was meant to be on that beach with the astronaut when he was 908 not 909. So in this case, he’d know that he could only put it off until the day before his birthday at latest or he’d be breaking the fixed point event. This is why he says “I can’t put it off any longer”.

I can't say I liked the episode, simply because of the way they handled the cybermen. The cyberbody is not a suit of armour that goes over the human host. At best, nothing but the brain remains after all the cyber stuff has been put on, and it certainly doesn't get destroyed by "the power of love" bull.
Corden I didn't really have any problem with, but it was all kind of meh in terms of likeable characters. I didn't DIS-like them, so there's that.

Ladies changing rooms are always an absolute train-wreck of clothes just littered about on the floor. The only place thats worse are ladies restrooms. Filthy, filthy places.
(No, I don't go in there. I've had them described, many times by various female friends, gf's, and my wife.
Anyway, that was the MOST believable part of the episode.
