The best bass players know how to do this! Eddie Gomez comes to mind as one of the firsts in the jazz world to really play a bass so nimbly like that, and on a standup bass at that! Check out his solo on this track if you're interested in jazz at all :{D ruclips.net/video/msw2TdJoaX8/видео.html

Same here... this music is out of this world
Its been 9 years exactly, can't believe its actually been that long. I first heard of them from the song "What once was" when i stumbled across it when Spotify played my recommended songs. I used to hate that feature, but im so glad that it brought me to these amazing guys. Not one of their songs do i dislike, i wish they could've lived to see all the love they get every single day. But we must let them move on. Don't cry because they're gone, be happy because they were once Her's.

This Norwegian lad played the bass like a lead guitar - amazing, never seen anything like it before. These lads had been listening to a lot of post-punk/New Wave stuff, New Order, Smiths, Banshees, PIL, etc., & they could have stood alongside any of them & not looked out of place. That crash caused by a drunk Chicano on a suicide ride, not caring who he took with him, was a bad loss to English pop music.
Doesn't matter if the guy that caused the crash was white, black, Mexican, American, English, Trans or what have you.....he shouldn't have been driving drunk. It sucks what happened to these young, talented musicians. This was a terrible loss.

I've discovered this band under such sad circumstances. I'm 47 grew up on bands who influenced their sound. I've devoted my prayers Rosary for their souls and I hope they are at peace in Jesus's arms.

I'm getting obsessed with this band and this is my favourite. That base line is so The Stranglers, J.J. Burnel would be proud to play that. Mixed with superb post punk jangle pop. I know The Smiths are an influence as they said as much on X-Posure, didn't hear who the other influences were though (John Kennedy did say something), as I drive a taxi and my customers were talking.
