People saying "where is x group or y group?"
Where were you went the voting happened?
These videos take long to make, the editor said it herself/himself it took 30+ hours and only put the ones people VOTED on. This doesn't deny there are other groups that are just or even more diverse than the ones in the video, specially the ones with more years, who tend to diversify even more. Mind you, some groups a lot of people only listen to title tracks (which is a crime).
It's okay to say "[insert group] is diverse too, they have done this and that" but I've seen some saying "you should've added [insert group]", "why is [insert group] not there?!". It sounds very undermining of someone's work.
If she/he feels like making another one of these, maybe they might add other groups.
Besides this is kpop, OF COURSE, they have to be diverse or it would be boring seeing the same groups, sounding the same all the time.

I hope JYP won’t limit SKZ’s musical freedom and that they will promote them to the best of their abilities. I feel like twice is never immediately thought of when it comes to diversity but it’s such an underrated bonus when going through there b-sides on top of their more cohesive ‘twice sound’ for their title tracks. Yet, you could never say tt and likey, or yes or yes and what is love sound anything similar to each other, just the same concept
It’s the same way if you think ‘self producing idol groups’, most people wouldn’t think twice, but they’ve participated in lyric writing for b-sides in basically every album they’ve put out since signal. In their new comeback (october 26th!!), 6 out of the 13 songs will be member-written
Lowkey I think it’s nice how they don’t push how diverse or how self-written they are, and leave it as a nice thing for onces to appreciate. But thank you for including them here!! Now I can finally say why jaljayo slaps as a song bc I loveeee bossa nova but I never even realised it

So impressed by the research and effort put into the video! I wish Mamamoo was here though. Since their debut they explored so many genres and even late into their carreers the keep exploring, in terms of diversity i feel they have something similar to Red Velvet!

Ateez isn't that diverse but... Ok is your opinion

    • @singggpi

@@staysthetic keep in mind, being musically diverse doesn't mean they got good songs, Ateez may not be that diverse yet, but all their songs are top notch. They are following a pirate theme/concept so they use hard hitting sounds, different atmospheric experimental sounds to give a midieval vibe and you def won't hear a retro, ballad (maybe contemporary) genre or such along those lines in their discography ;)

automatically thought of red velvet and obviously my babies, bts.
many groups are versatile but some are on another level to the point that their title track is different from any other title track they've done, a different concept never seen before too.

I can name you 10 titles from bts that sound nothing like anything else they’ve done, they explore so much and it’s very apparent:)
red velvet queens of diversity in concepts we had to stan🧘‍♀️

I agree with all of these but I think TXT deserves to be here. They’ve only been around for a little more than a year and their albums are so diverse. When I first heard Crown I thought that that would be the route they would go but they’ve changed it up so much

Exo has more genre add up to the existing list reggae, rock, electro pop, latin pop, EDM, hiphop, ...they tend to mix all genre in one music creating their own exo genre...nct is like that too well sm prod always on a higher level

as soon as I saw the title I thought of txt and I was sad when they weren’t included in the video but the amount of people asking about them in the comments makes me feel less alone. I know you already explained that this was based on a poll but I really think it would be better without them, kpop stans are biased and we all know some of them refuse to give txt a chance just because they are affiliated with bts.
