Does all the lines alone in the room with vague context and no other actors to play out the scenes with? Yet, look how great the acting was in the Arkham games. This man’s work was incredible. There will never be another Batman that even comes close to his. Thank you Kevin Conroy for all the great memories as a kid through the cartoons/animated movies, and then again in my teen years with the games. Rest in peace.
I loved every Batman Arkham Game and they are the best games ever ! :) Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill did a excellent job with the voiceacting and it is awesome like always :)
yea man one thing I can say about DC that I like better than Marvel is that they are better at games to me. Even Arkham Origins (that didn't perform AS WELL as the rest) is still a must have.
Thank you for voicing batman for many years. Thank you for returning for the arkham franchise. I couldn't believe it when I heard a batman game of that size was coming out. It was amazingly breathtaking to find out that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprised their roles for the games.
Well like he said "it's billionaire, millionaires are so last year" ... It's weird because the arkham games are cool and fun.. But we need longer campaigns , to take place in several months or at least weeks ..
They should do The Long Halloween as a game! That's exactly a year long. They'd have to base the game play on something besides the detective skills because we already know the result but it could easily be done and I think it would be great
Yes that's was very smart of them. The first smart idea was to go to Paul dini then allowing dini to bring in Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill was why they succeeded. I just wish they would have done that the same for arkham knight.
You could tell he was still finding his groove in Asylum since the dialogue was a bit monotone but in Arkham Knight i think it was some of the best voice acting he ever did.
@@nicholasrodriguez4990 I wouldn't say reboot because it would ruin the already established character development and stories but yeah either sequel to origins or the remake of Arkham Knight, stretching the timeline more
@@atharva7462 I don’t know how they would continue after Arkham knight because you know Batman’s Identity was revealed to the world but a sequel to origins would’ve been perfect I don’t like the new Gotham knights game looks like a mobile game
@@nicholasrodriguez4990 I agree with you that Gotham Knights looks like a garbage! But bro I'm not talking about a sequel to Arkham Knight but rather a sequel to Arkham Origins and Arkham City. Arkham Knight (Final Chapter in series) takes place after four months after Arkham City which is way too soon for plot and story. They should've made more games after Arkham City and then Finally Arkham Knight, that's what I'm saying bro. I mean the Arkham Series were way fast like for example how they turned Jason Todd from Bad Guy to Good Guy in one F-ing night without any character development and btw he was way better as Arkham Knight but his character was butchered after Boss Fight. There are so many things that lacked emotional drama because the Series were so fast with their stories like, E:g Talia's Death were supposed to be emotional but it wasn't because of they didn't develop their relationship or provided a background for it and also they should've added more to Jason Todd in the game instead of spin off comic. The Series should've taken their time to stretch and adjust their timeline like for E:g Metal Gear Series, Devil May Cry, or God of War Series.
@@atharva7462 I agree with you 100% the Arkham games were amazing they ended too soon they could’ve milked that franchise like Ubisoft do with assassin’s Creed or like God of war lol 😂 I still think it’s possible a sequel to Arkham origins that takes place before Arkham asylum would be awesome
Whenever they place the speaker in front of double doors in the convention centers of these hotels, as they always seem to do, I always wait for John Wilkes Booth to come through the doors! LOL
Kevin Conroy (RIP) and Mark Hamill are synonymous with the roles of Batman and Joker. But the studio said they wanted younger actors, and Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker both did a really good job imo
Not entirely true about video game voice acting being individual. The Legacy of Kain series were done with all the actors involved on those scenes in the same room.
+synthsolutionmusic I really owe a lot of it to the writing from Amy Hennig (most recent work she did was the first three UC games and left Naughty Dog during development of the fourth). Her writing I believe brought Shakespearean characters to video games at least regarding the LoK series. Though yeah regarding voice actors doing individual takes the times have changed my friend especially with the growth of technology where you could have one guy doing a session in LA and then have the supporting actor doing his take from NY along a cable line composed of glass transferring data with light. Some people do prefer to have the actors together one voice director named Kris Zimmerman being one of them I know I saw bits of Arkham City with Kevin and Mark in the same room but they might have done something different with Arkham Knight.
When Kevin is speaking in his normal voice, I hear Bruce Wayne
Damn we’re gonna miss this guy
Rest in peace Kevin conroy legends never die

Most animated films are pretty good. They just make you do it over and over again until they get multiple good options.
Kevin Conroy is the true voice of Batman and he inspired me to play the caped crusader

I saw some clips from before he was batman, acting. He was ripped!

Imagine an actor with this voice in the live action.
This actor with this voice did live action Batman.
