I don't really like the style of the new ponies but surprisingly I really like Minty! The quality issues is unfortunate, I'm glad you guys didn't pay full price for it.

The mane six actually have different face prints from the others to make them look different so they are unique from the others doubles!

I also noticed that their hair was a pretty poor quality but my paint job was ok. I also just got the set for Minty and a correctly colored Luna!

wow and i thought i was the only one who had problems with this set! my mom got me it as a gift earlier this year and i have had so many problems with the manes. they tangle and frizz SO easy, they shed everywhere with gentle combing, and when i got them the manes all had bits of glue and dirt in them! i think your set came even worse than mine because the eyes were all fine on mine, albeit some kind of off positioning, and my spike was basically perfect compared to yours. i agree this is a good set for customization or childrens play, though rehairing would be a pain since these are hard plastic lol

Woah cool! I too would've bought this just for Minty, she was my favorite when I was a kid! (Didn't know their names when I was little so I named her Melon! For the green and pink palette. Named my build a bear version of Minty that to stick it to the man. :P )
