Green Day fans are always so awsome at shows, singing along jumping around. even the fans in japan that dont speak a lick of english jump sing and scream along. So many nerves go into performing live for people especially that magnitude. the crowds reaction really does make the show special.
i agree. a main reason for the fans being so loud and crazy at green day concerts is how the band, especially billie joe, are able to engage them throughout every song. i mean they could just go up on stage play, their songs then leave. but no, they pull fans on stage let them play their instruments, sing parts of their song, and then at the end of it they get to go home with a guitar or stage dive

Who's ever said anything bad about "American Idiot"? I've never heard anyone say bad about it. The album is one of the best ever made. Every song is driven by such passion and energy! And when they perform live...Well, I'm English, so I'm biased but Billie Joe always seems to have had a particular affection for us! And that affection and love is returned a hundred-fold. The people in that audience adore him.

Ever since I had my first MP3 player. Green Day was all I ever listened to. As soon as I knew what stations they played on. It's what I listened to. I have a wide taste in music genres. But Green Day has always been number one. I'm fairly young, 15 as I'm writing this. But I still love every song they've produced. All the way back to smoothed out up to rev rad. I was blessed to see them live recently when they came to Washington and it was the best live show experience ever. They sounds just as good live, as they do in studio. It was amazing to feel the energy with the music in a way I've never felt before. Green Day will always have a large part in my heart. Happy 30 years! It's a shame I've only gotten to experience the last few years but I'm glad I can go back and listen to their old stuff so easily
This band is amazing! One year a school was holding a prom but was cancelled because the school heard a lesbian couple would be attending. Green Day heard and was shocked about the homosexuality. They held a prom somewhere else and any couple could attend. Another reason to love these guys!
I actually prefer listening to these songs from this concert rather than the studio versions. The performance and the mixing is amazing here. It’s much more powerfull. I’m actually about to go on stage in a few hours with my own band (i’m a drummer). And i clicked on this concert right away to get in the mood :)
