I have to agree. -Mostly play HC mode and if I wanna play douchey, then I'll use the frag M1014 with an IR and destroy the other team. -I always use a range finder with my sniper because there are no other accessories that I should use. -Flashlights are always helpful in HC because it makes it harder for the enemy to aim for headshots. -In HC, I always use the flash hider unless I am running an AR or Carbine. -Bipods in HC are very effective.
I've tried using canted iron sights but I never find myself using them, and it's kinda hard to anticipate when you'll encounter someone in close quarters. That's why I never use it.

I use em on my dmr with an acog too. BUT, also on my silenced 416 with an acog. All my guns that have magnification have em. And i must they are verrrrryyyyy useful. They take time to get used to but once u can utilize it, it just becomes so good.

i hope you are trolling but i will treat you like you are not trolling so here is the deal with bipods. they offer better stability and since the front of the gun is resting on it so the only recoil you will feel is the shaking of the gun and if you put on a red dot on it you will basicly be able to stay on target until you need to reload.

Mykel Fam The little notches on the y axis (up and down) on the scope have a meaning. The closest ones to the center are 500 meters away, then 1000, and finally 1500 meters.
I play with a bipod on a m98b so I can hold the sniper steady also I like how he didn't say the target finder was one it doesn't do anything it just sits there chilling on your gun
that, and I picked up a little trick using it on metro as an assault grenadeer. If you select your underbarrel grenade launcher, then toggle your 2x on, it zooms in your view down the side of the weapon while still magnifying your sight. this nearly nullifys the screen space most assaults take up (giving a very large view radius) but also makes picking those distant targets out dramatically easier.

Ditto. I exclusively run LMGs with bipod. It allows me to use the lmg as a sort of long range shotgun against snipers. How else can you place 3-4 rounds in succession on a long range target?

I prefer to run them with either a 1x rds or a 4x ACOG or something because that magnifier just obstructs waaaay too much of the screen. I get killed by people I would normally be able to see. To each his own though haha
+christian romaine the downside is you have a huge second scope blocking a good portion of your screen. It may not be a huge deal in your eyes and for many, but for those who have the mentality that want to have every advantage possible, it isn't worth it because a good player can aim fine with a coyote sight regardless of range and obstructs less vision. It is fun to use though, I think it looks pretty cool on some guns, while some guns look pretty ugly with it. (:

Kimeters IRNV in bf4 is based on the AN/PAS-13 "Light" (exterior wise), which is a thermal sight. If it were a Night Vision sight, it wouldn't work during the day (which it does). The IRNV in bf4 is a weird concoction of inconsistencies.

I actually used it right after changing alot of my settings and thought wtf did I change in there to make it like this and went into the settings for a good 5min before realising that it was the duckbill. lol
o no he snipes but only as the call of duty in your face aggro recon that people think is cool. and not all of us play for your precious objective. if i am in a recon mood im not there to cap flags or even win games. im there for that one or two really good long range shots. its not my fault the best game mode for that is a giant game of capture the flag.
Nice joke, even a long range sniper that doesn't get a lot of kills but gets at least 7 kills can distract many people. I find it many times while long range sniping I will annoy the team to waste tanks and other great vehicles such as little birds and planes because they want to get to my spot to kill me, buying time for my team to capture a point without that one vehicle annoying them.
That's cool that many of you use and like some of these attachments, it doesn't make them good. I have also used each an every attachment here and done well with them, just watch my Loadout videos. The biggest fallacy I'm seeing in the comments is "hey I use that attachment and often do well when I use it, therefor it's good". Perhaps you're a good player and your skill overcomes the crappy setup you have chosen. It's likely you would do even better using a setup that didn't rely on these attachments. I will concede that I don't play on console and I believe some of these attachments are more useful over there so sorry if there is a lack of parity between console tactics and PC tactics.
+LevelCapGaming Maybe people have different ideas about what's good or not? A lot of these attachments (range finder, canted iron sights, 2x magnifier, etc.) have nothing to do with cold hard stats so you can't really say any of them are objectively bad. It's pure preference.
JDMBOY 509 hardcore make the weapons out of balance. In maps like Operation Locker everybody just running around with a red dot sniper rifle one shot everything and I really hate that. The game turns into point and click
Allen well I will agree with you because every time I use a red dot on a sniper I usually get between 30 and 50 kills but I don't do it very often and it doesn't seem to happen to me very often so no problem for me

But 25, per shot, on a shotgun, especially when there are no longer any full auto shotguns in the game that aren't the pickup USAS-12, is stupidly low power. Hell, with the USAS-12 as a pickup gun now, why don't they put it up to it's old power? This would actually make people want to fight over this pickup I imagine.

+Immortal Assassin I personally run a straight bolt instead of a bipod. It allows to move more easily/as soon as you take a shot. A bipod makes you an easy target. The Long Range setup I use is JNG X40 Range Finder Straight Pull Bold. Give it a try.

Bipods on LMGs turn them into automatic sniper rifles. You can literally put a burst into a sniper at 500m. You can out snipe a sniper with these things. They aren't made for close range which is all levelcap does (jesus fuck, snipers capping flags?). The idea that a lot of damage is going to come your way is laughable since the opposing force firing on the move and is a larger target while standing. Meanwhile the bipod user is hunkered down and a smaller target. If there is high ground on a map then that's where you deploy. You'll be able to cover multiple flags at once, suppress people, and be more effective than long range snipers. If the maps are small and you want to be mobile then the bipod isn't for you.

I absolutely loved playing squad conquest and other stuff like that, we mop the floor with me playing rear guard.

Canted iron sight is great on assault rifles when you want to use a higher magnification scope (or an IRNV/FLIR scope) but still want to be able to use the rifle at close-medium range without hipfiring. Disagree with including this one on here.

All of those attachments can be used to advantage, maybe they dont go with your play style or maybe there better for Hardcore server. You should trying playing Hardcore and then we can see how Normies do with out 3D spoting and max health

I used the canted iron sights and the bipod pretty regularly. On DMRs in particular I run the canted iron sights so that I can use a ranged 4x scope for medium range engagements, and the iron sights when I move into close range to take objectives. The bipod is great on machine guns, but it also prevents scope drift on sniper rifles which is nice, especially if you have a great sniping location but need to make the first shot count, this is especially true when defending captured flags. If, on conquest for example, your first shot is a miss because of drift, your target will almost immediately take cover, and as a result you risk loosing the flag, all because you missed the tiny window you had to take a stable shot.
+Alex Sitaras I use it on my AK-12 Carbine (Forgot the name, been playing other games) with a 3.4x scope, heavy barrel and angled. The low recoil works a treat and the iron sights give me a better option to my semi automatic pistol (I rarely touch the burst or auto ones). Hardline's RDS version of it was significantly better though, even if still not great.
Tac light is perfect for operation locker. You are never far enough away for the light to blind someone and it only turns on when you need to hide behind the glare.

I agree with some of these attachments being awful. First the duckbill, I simply can't think of a single scenario where it would actually be more practical than any of the other chokes or just not using a barrel attachment. I also agree with the 40x and 20x scopes. If you really need to use them instead of the 14x from the variable zoom then you are probably not contributing to the team in any way.

@@Sharkster_J duckbill is useful when you are a new player not used to shotguns. It gives you more margin of error in the horizontal axis. Canted iron sights are useful when using thermal scopes and someone throws a flare. 40x and 20x scopes are useful when playing obliteration; if an enemy grabs the bomb, you have a chance of killing from 500 m or more. Same with range finder. Bipod is excellent on assault rifles with good damage and bullet velocity, as you can reach enemies far away with virtually no recoil, in a defensive position, like playing rush in the defense team
levelcap, dude, the bipod is excellent on LMGs but it is phenomenal on snipers. The fact that you don't need to hold your breath is truly a gift when you're covering an area. And it takes less than a second to deploy a bipod, easy peasy.
In my experience the duckbill and frag rounds are actually effective in hardcore. But hc is very different from regular so in terms of the normal game I agree
I miss the old days on BF3 when the maps were designed with snipers in mind. The hills looked over the maps so snipers could set up looking to and from the hills of Kharg Island
Back in Battlefield 3 I used to use the bipod on the G3 battle rifle to reduce that strong recoil when firing fully auto, whenever I saw baddies I would drop to the floor set up the bipod and go to town and because of the high damage per shot of the gun I did pretty good. Loved that gun :(

The bipod/vehicle glitch still exists... Just sit in a vehicles side seat with an lmg (either with 200 round box or the high damage model), a bipod, and a heavy barrel... Lazer beam hipfire, with no bloom and no recoil... couple that with the fact that you can stick ammo boxes on all vehicles (whispers... putting the ammo crate on the exact top middle allows you to tank off one air to air heatseaker. m=note you have to have it in the correct spot) I pointed this out to the devs in the CTE once and they ignored it... guess its "working as intended".

+Lynda Saynax Flash Hider is great, it's just that there are some weapons you can't use it on, especially fast firing ones. But on the RPK74? Go for it. AN94-Burst? Go for it. The Bipod is great, i run it on heavy assault rifles for which i don't use a grip, like the Bulldog or the Scare-H, deploy it, get 1-3kills, and then you stop camping and advance again, sometimes also on the RPK74 when the enemy is so far away it would be too difficult to take them down only by tap firing. Deploy it, and spray'em down.

Duckbill does have its uses. Slap flechettes on it and flank in Locker TDM with a decent semi like the DAO. The duckbill (if you use it from the hip) will help with multitarget engagements. Furthermore, the duckbill does actually give the most reliable hipfire spread out of all muzzles
"No body uses the canted iron sights" you kidding me? They are the best attachment when you're using a DMR and your moving constantly from buildings to open ground back inside of buildings to back outside. As for the bipod i can kind of understand, but I have had some good and satisfying kill streaks with my MG4 by camping in a hull down position.

JaySTEEZ I use my DMR for long range, red dots aren't good for that (but you don't need me to tell you such) so I use a long range scope for my DMRs and when I enter buildings I switch to my canted sights
Levelcap, you're judging all of these attachments based off of your "run and gun" style of play. The 2x magnifier and canted ironsights are both very useful in different situations, particularly on DMRs.
Duckbill: I many people, who killed me in TDM with it had a relatively high KD (even though they were not such good in other matches), so i doubt that it is bad. 2xMagnifier: Seriously?? I really LOVE this magnifier, because it can help a lot Iron sights: ever heard of the term "aggressive sniper" --> they ARE helpful, because it is faster to switch to the iron sights then to switch to the sidearm! Bipod?! Are you serious? Have you EVER played Rush? Or have you ever played Metro? With it you can deal such a massive amount of damage with perfect accuracy on every shot! Also useful for lange range snipers! Seriously, your list was relatively bad, if only 6 of ten are bad and 4 are even relatively good attachments

I don't think the Canted Ironsights are useless I think it's all down to preference and how good your aim is. I prefer using pistols because my first shot reflex aim is not the greatest so I prefer to use a pistol in close quarters. The Magnifier is useful I will agree, but it depends on your environment and situation. Alot of the time though you can accomplish most things with just a Reflex Sight and spacing your shots but sometimes I have found I wanted that little extra magnification just to see a target. Bipod in my opinion is useless on Assault Rifles and Carbines yes, but can be definatly useful for Machine Gun's and DMR's, both guns when used correctly are great for a defensive player who can suppress a choke point with gunfire. Sniper Rifles are hit and miss for me really with bipods. I only ever use bipods with Sniper Rifles that have a high muzzle velocity and even then it's only for long range shots. More often than not however I refrain from using Bipods on snipers, favouring movement over 100% accuracy/stability.
I remember how level said while watching the bf4 trailer that "the canted sights are gonna give players a lot of tactical playstyles" and he thought it was a really cool attachment
You know what would be great is if the bipod automatically went down for you when you got to cover but didn't like stick you to anything, so you could still move around but it would take a second to lock in to give you the benefits of accuracy and weapon stability.

Ever play a stealth game (or any type of game really) that sort of sicks you to a wall when you go behind cover, it would function like that but only for surfaces (instead of walls) and allow you to move back and forth but you won't get the accuracy benefits until you wait like 3 seconds or some arbitrary amount of time where it "locks" into place and gives you a recoil reduction when firing from that location and gives you an accuracy bonus.
Unit 206 Apart from the fact that it wouldn't even work in real life/ a realistic game, seeing as with your logic you could only use the bipod on a horizontal surface, and if you moved forward the bipod would collapse back in.
+NickDaGamer1998 the bipods actually lock forwards, allowing you to lean in to them, however some bipods, namely the heavy weapon bipods will often have a locking feature, that automatically engages when the bipod is pushed forward, yet has to be manually disengaged to allow the bipod to return to the rearmost position.
I actually use the 2x magnifier all the time and I do really well with it. I like having a switch between more range and that close range reddot, and since battlefield doesn't have an acog with a reddot on top of it, I use the magnifier.

Thermal Cake Looks like we're thinking the same thing, I don't like lasers either, but I wouldn't call them useless, they sure can improve your hip accuracy. Same with the flashlights, don't use them, but they can be a nice addition to darker maps.
Tac Light is super useful because of its automatic toggle. That is its entire point, to apply a flash that wasn't there before. If you use a flashlight and want to use it this way you also have to hit the toggle button at the same time you ads. The biggest downside for the tac light though is that you can't toggle it permanently off for when you want to ads with not tac light. .
Why does nobody play fucking hardcore? I HATE normal mode. I literally played it for one game at the release of BF4 and gave it another shot about a year later. Both games had me tilted instantly. Why do people want health regen and to have all your victims know exactly where you are? Squad play is EXPONENTIALLY better in hardcore.
+iota-09 I love classic mode but there are NEVER any servers running it. I like the fact that you have to try to conserve ammo if you don't have a ammo box nearby because if you reload after every kill, you'll be out of bullets before you know it.
The thing is that I enjoy sniping like a real sniper on huge maps, so I use the range finder, 20x scope, and the bipod. To make it even more realistic, I play on hardcore servers.

Tac light is the best attachment in the game. Only activates when you aim (so you don't give position away) and honestly, on an SMG with it is undefeatable in 1v1 on maps with CQC. Also, bipod is a very good attachment when running around on CQ. Often time you're too far away to get hit with just an assault rifle and wished you had a sniper for that moment. With the bipod you have a gun that can at least save you in CQC and can be used for long range if you need it to.

I use the duckbill on shotguns and it works extremely well. It doesn't seem like it, but it actually helps reduce the spread of the shot and allows for longer range use of buckshot. Since it also spreads out horizontally quicker than any other choke, it's fantastic for filling a hallway or confined space in CQB maps with buckshot. It works VERY well on Locker and is even fairly effective at medium ranges on open maps.
+Barry Bamm Yeah it is a beast. Once you get used to it on the faster firing shottys try it on the slower ones. The ones with higher damage. at the right distance you can drop two mfs with one shot on normal, occasionally three. it also seems like it gives you the option of a wide spread for hipfire and crowd control while at the same time, the center of the spread shot has a hell of a lot more range. almost that of a full choke, and I swear, sometimes further than.
How to use bipod: 1. Find objective 2. Quickly find a crate/object and face bipod toward enemy. 3. Gun down 1-3 people with laser accuracy. 4. As soon as you run out of bullets or are overrun, get off and redeploy. Easy. Its called tactical applications guys. Did you think Battlefield was some 140 colonel gung-ho type shit? You need to outthink your enemy as well as outgun them.

+aDv3n0_0 I was just about to make this comment. The flash hider for example is great imo in hardcore. The TTK is fast enough that the tiny reduction in performance is negligible. There is no minimap, so the damage and velocity reduction of the suppressors is not worth it, but hiding your flash with basically no downside can be. I've also found frag rounds to be extremely annoying to play against in hardcore, especially if you don't have a medic around. Canted sights were used a lot when the IR optics were buffed and everyone was spamming flares. I'm surprised that he didn't mention the dual laser/light accessory. You can never turn them off, so you are always giving away your position, and since they're both CQB oriented attachments, it's very rare that just the laser sight won't be enough.

The canted iron sights in my opinion make weapons more adaptive. For example, I've used canted sights with an ACOG scope on an Mk11. I was able to get medium range kills easily, while picking off anyone who came close.
dominic wilfong yes, I once got 146 kills with the famas canted iron sight combo. keep in mind, the regular iron sights had a brick blocking them, so I had to use the canted sight
Looking back on this video, I remember how I didn't like the 40x but after I jumped back into BF4 I find it great on maps like Golmud or Nansha Strike where there's a lot of open space and you can sit defending one objective and still help your team by getting kills on another objective.

-Mostly play HC mode and if I wanna play douchey, then I'll use the frag M1014 with an IR and destroy the other team.
-I always use a range finder with my sniper because there are no other accessories that I should use.
-Flashlights are always helpful in HC because it makes it harder for the enemy to aim for headshots.
-In HC, I always use the flash hider unless I am running an AR or Carbine.
-Bipods in HC are very effective.

I've tried using canted iron sights but I never find myself using them, and it's kinda hard to anticipate when you'll encounter someone in close quarters. That's why I never use it.

i hope you are trolling but i will treat you like you are not trolling so here is the deal with bipods. they offer better stability and since the front of the gun is resting on it so the only recoil you will feel is the shaking of the gun and if you put on a red dot on it you will basicly be able to stay on target until you need to reload.

Dude. that 2x magnification is very VERY useful on LMGS
that, and I picked up a little trick using it on metro as an assault grenadeer. If you select your underbarrel grenade launcher, then toggle your 2x on, it zooms in your view down the side of the weapon while still magnifying your sight. this nearly nullifys the screen space most assaults take up (giving a very large view radius) but also makes picking those distant targets out dramatically easier.
Its great for seeing and spotting on larger maps, too.

It may not be a huge deal in your eyes and for many, but for those who have the mentality that want to have every advantage possible, it isn't worth it because a good player can aim fine with a coyote sight regardless of range and obstructs less vision. and not all of us play for your precious objective. if i am in a recon mood im not there to cap flags or even win games. im there for that one or two really good long range shots. its not my fault the best game mode for that is a giant game of capture the flag.
Nice joke, even a long range sniper that doesn't get a lot of kills but gets at least 7 kills can distract many people. I find it many times while long range sniping I will annoy the team to waste tanks and other great vehicles such as little birds and planes because they want to get to my spot to kill me, buying time for my team to capture a point without that one vehicle annoying them.

That's cool that many of you use and like some of these attachments, it doesn't make them good. I have also used each an every attachment here and done well with them, just watch my Loadout videos. The biggest fallacy I'm seeing in the comments is "hey I use that attachment and often do well when I use it, therefor it's good". Perhaps you're a good player and your skill overcomes the crappy setup you have chosen. It's likely you would do even better using a setup that didn't rely on these attachments. I will concede that I don't play on console and I believe some of these attachments are more useful over there so sorry if there is a lack of parity between console tactics and PC tactics.

Bipods on LMGs turn them into automatic sniper rifles. You can literally put a burst into a sniper at 500m. You can out snipe a sniper with these things. They aren't made for close range which is all levelcap does (jesus fuck, snipers capping flags?). The idea that a lot of damage is going to come your way is laughable since the opposing force firing on the move and is a larger target while standing. Meanwhile the bipod user is hunkered down and a smaller target.
If there is high ground on a map then that's where you deploy. You'll be able to cover multiple flags at once, suppress people, and be more effective than long range snipers. If the maps are small and you want to be mobile then the bipod isn't for you.
I always use canted irons on DMRs in case there are too many people to take care of with my pistol.

The bipod is amazing on a bolt-action rifle! You don't have to hold your breath when trying to line up a long-distance shot. That's priceless, IMO.
most of them are designed for running a squad where team is focus fire on the same targets, to many bf players play as a solo mentality but running a coordinated & well equiped squad will dominate an area effectivly
Damn straight, when not playing with friends I would usually shift my play style to whatever my team or squad needed, but when playing with friends, fuck out my way or the pig goin get you good. m60, holographic with magnifier, muscle break, bipod/stubby, laser. I absolutely loved playing squad conquest and other stuff like that, we mop the floor with me playing rear guard.

Canted iron sight is great on assault rifles when you want to use a higher magnification scope (or an IRNV/FLIR scope) but still want to be able to use the rifle at close-medium range without hipfiring. Disagree with including this one on here.

I used the canted iron sights and the bipod pretty regularly. On DMRs in particular I run the canted iron sights so that I can use a ranged 4x scope for medium range engagements, and the iron sights when I move into close range to take objectives.
The bipod is great on machine guns, but it also prevents scope drift on sniper rifles which is nice, especially if you have a great sniping location but need to make the first shot count, this is especially true when defending captured flags. If, on conquest for example, your first shot is a miss because of drift, your target will almost immediately take cover, and as a result you risk loosing the flag, all because you missed the tiny window you had to take a stable shot.
I don't even play BF4 and I can see these attachments all have a use depending on how you play the game...

The low recoil works a treat and the iron sights give me a better option to my semi automatic pistol (I rarely touch the burst or auto ones). Hardline's RDS version of it was significantly better though, even if still not great.

I agree with some of these attachments being awful. First the duckbill, I simply can't think of a single scenario where it would actually be more practical than any of the other chokes or just not using a barrel attachment. I also agree with the 40x and 20x scopes. If you really need to use them instead of the 14x from the variable zoom then you are probably not contributing to the team in any way.

@@Sharkster_J duckbill is useful when you are a new player not used to shotguns. It gives you more margin of error in the horizontal axis. Canted iron sights are useful when using thermal scopes and someone throws a flare. 40x and 20x scopes are useful when playing obliteration; if an enemy grabs the bomb, you have a chance of killing from 500 m or more. Same with range finder. Bipod is excellent on assault rifles with good damage and bullet velocity, as you can reach enemies far away with virtually no recoil, in a defensive position, like playing rush in the defense team
levelcap, dude, the bipod is excellent on LMGs but it is phenomenal on snipers. The fact that you don't need to hold your breath is truly a gift when you're covering an area. And it takes less than a second to deploy a bipod, easy peasy.
In my experience the duckbill and frag rounds are actually effective in hardcore. But hc is very different from regular so in terms of the normal game I agree
I also use the canted irons a lot and to good effect. They really compliment an AR with a medium zoom scope

I miss the old days on BF3 when the maps were designed with snipers in mind. The hills looked over the maps so snipers could set up looking to and from the hills of Kharg Island
Back in Battlefield 3 I used to use the bipod on the G3 battle rifle to reduce that strong recoil when firing fully auto, whenever I saw baddies I would drop to the floor set up the bipod and go to town and because of the high damage per shot of the gun I did pretty good. Loved that gun :(

The bipod/vehicle glitch still exists... Just sit in a vehicles side seat with an lmg (either with 200 round box or the high damage model), a bipod, and a heavy barrel... Lazer beam hipfire, with no bloom and no recoil... couple that with the fact that you can stick ammo boxes on all vehicles (whispers... putting the ammo crate on the exact top middle allows you to tank off one air to air heatseaker. m=note you have to have it in the correct spot) I pointed this out to the devs in the CTE once and they ignored it... guess its "working as intended".

Flash Hider is great, it's just that there are some weapons you can't use it on, especially fast firing ones. But on the RPK74? Go for it. AN94-Burst? Go for it.
The Bipod is great, i run it on heavy assault rifles for which i don't use a grip, like the Bulldog or the Scare-H, deploy it, get 1-3kills, and then you stop camping and advance again, sometimes also on the RPK74 when the enemy is so far away it would be too difficult to take them down only by tap firing. Deploy it, and spray'em down.

The flash hider is really really good for the M4, it makes it super easy to track my targets
Duckbill does have its uses.
Slap flechettes on it and flank in Locker TDM with a decent semi like the DAO.
The duckbill (if you use it from the hip) will help with multitarget engagements. Furthermore, the duckbill does actually give the most reliable hipfire spread out of all muzzles
"No body uses the canted iron sights" you kidding me? They are the best attachment when you're using a DMR and your moving constantly from buildings to open ground back inside of buildings to back outside. As for the bipod i can kind of understand, but I have had some good and satisfying kill streaks with my MG4 by camping in a hull down position.

JaySTEEZ I use my DMR for long range, red dots aren't good for that (but you don't need me to tell you such) so I use a long range scope for my DMRs and when I enter buildings I switch to my canted sights

Levelcap, you're judging all of these attachments based off of your "run and gun" style of play. The 2x magnifier and canted ironsights are both very useful in different situations, particularly on DMRs.

I don't think the Canted Ironsights are useless I think it's all down to preference and how good your aim is. I prefer using pistols because my first shot reflex aim is not the greatest so I prefer to use a pistol in close quarters.
The Magnifier is useful I will agree, but it depends on your environment and situation. Alot of the time though you can accomplish most things with just a Reflex Sight and spacing your shots but sometimes I have found I wanted that little extra magnification just to see a target.
Bipod in my opinion is useless on Assault Rifles and Carbines yes, but can be definatly useful for Machine Gun's and DMR's, both guns when used correctly are great for a defensive player who can suppress a choke point with gunfire.
Sniper Rifles are hit and miss for me really with bipods. I only ever use bipods with Sniper Rifles that have a high muzzle velocity and even then it's only for long range shots. More often than not however I refrain from using Bipods on snipers, favouring movement over 100% accuracy/stability.
I only use the bipod on high recoil weapons so I get no vertical recoil.

I actually kinda like that flash hider, not because its stealthy but it gives more vision while shooting without a crazy flash around your gun.
I remember how level said while watching the bf4 trailer that "the canted sights are gonna give players a lot of tactical playstyles" and he thought it was a really cool attachment
You know what would be great is if the bipod automatically went down for you when you got to cover but didn't like stick you to anything, so you could still move around but it would take a second to lock in to give you the benefits of accuracy and weapon stability.

Ever play a stealth game (or any type of game really) that sort of sicks you to a wall when you go behind cover, it would function like that but only for surfaces (instead of walls) and allow you to move back and forth but you won't get the accuracy benefits until you wait like 3 seconds or some arbitrary amount of time where it "locks" into place and gives you a recoil reduction when firing from that location and gives you an accuracy bonus.
Unit 206 Apart from the fact that it wouldn't even work in real life/ a realistic game, seeing as with your logic you could only use the bipod on a horizontal surface, and if you moved forward the bipod would collapse back in.
+NickDaGamer1998 the bipods actually lock forwards, allowing you to lean in to them, however some bipods, namely the heavy weapon bipods will often have a locking feature, that automatically engages when the bipod is pushed forward, yet has to be manually disengaged to allow the bipod to return to the rearmost position.
I actually use the 2x magnifier all the time and I do really well with it. I like having a switch between more range and that close range reddot, and since battlefield doesn't have an acog with a reddot on top of it, I use the magnifier.

Thermal Cake Looks like we're thinking the same thing, I don't like lasers either, but I wouldn't call them useless, they sure can improve your hip accuracy. Same with the flashlights, don't use them, but they can be a nice addition to darker maps.

Tac Light is super useful because of its automatic toggle. That is its entire point, to apply a flash that wasn't there before. If you use a flashlight and want to use it this way you also have to hit the toggle button at the same time you ads. The biggest downside for the tac light though is that you can't toggle it permanently off for when you want to ads with not tac light. .
Why does nobody play fucking hardcore? I HATE normal mode. I literally played it for one game at the release of BF4 and gave it another shot about a year later. Both games had me tilted instantly. Why do people want health regen and to have all your victims know exactly where you are? Squad play is EXPONENTIALLY better in hardcore.

+iota-09 I love classic mode but there are NEVER any servers running it. I like the fact that you have to try to conserve ammo if you don't have a ammo box nearby because if you reload after every kill, you'll be out of bullets before you know it.
The thing is that I enjoy sniping like a real sniper on huge maps, so I use the range finder, 20x scope, and the bipod. To make it even more realistic, I play on hardcore servers.

Tac light is the best attachment in the game. Only activates when you aim (so you don't give position away) and honestly, on an SMG with it is undefeatable in 1v1 on maps with CQC. Also, bipod is a very good attachment when running around on CQ. Often time you're too far away to get hit with just an assault rifle and wished you had a sniper for that moment. With the bipod you have a gun that can at least save you in CQC and can be used for long range if you need it to.

I use the duckbill on shotguns and it works extremely well. It doesn't seem like it, but it actually helps reduce the spread of the shot and allows for longer range use of buckshot. Since it also spreads out horizontally quicker than any other choke, it's fantastic for filling a hallway or confined space in CQB maps with buckshot. It works VERY well on Locker and is even fairly effective at medium ranges on open maps.

+Barry Bamm Yeah it is a beast. Once you get used to it on the faster firing shottys try it on the slower ones. The ones with higher damage. at the right distance you can drop two mfs with one shot on normal, occasionally three. it also seems like it gives you the option of a wide spread for hipfire and crowd control while at the same time, the center of the spread shot has a hell of a lot more range. almost that of a full choke, and I swear, sometimes further than.

2. Quickly find a crate/object and face bipod toward enemy.
3. Gun down 1-3 people with laser accuracy.
4. As soon as you run out of bullets or are overrun, get off and redeploy. Easy.
Its called tactical applications guys. Did you think Battlefield was some 140 colonel gung-ho type shit? You need to outthink your enemy as well as outgun them.

no man m416 is not meant for that. I dont underestimate your results, but try the SAR21 or the AR160 for Acog usage.

+aDv3n0_0 I was just about to make this comment. The flash hider for example is great imo in hardcore. The TTK is fast enough that the tiny reduction in performance is negligible. There is no minimap, so the damage and velocity reduction of the suppressors is not worth it, but hiding your flash with basically no downside can be.
I've also found frag rounds to be extremely annoying to play against in hardcore, especially if you don't have a medic around. Canted sights were used a lot when the IR optics were buffed and everyone was spamming flares.
I'm surprised that he didn't mention the dual laser/light accessory. You can never turn them off, so you are always giving away your position, and since they're both CQB oriented attachments, it's very rare that just the laser sight won't be enough.

The canted iron sights in my opinion make weapons more adaptive.
For example, I've used canted sights with an ACOG scope on an Mk11.
I was able to get medium range kills easily, while picking off anyone who came close.
Ha 40x scope I get at least 15 kills a game w/ range finder same with canted iron sights

dominic wilfong yes, I once got 146 kills with the famas canted iron sight combo. keep in mind, the regular iron sights had a brick blocking them, so I had to use the canted sight

Looking back on this video, I remember how I didn't like the 40x but after I jumped back into BF4 I find it great on maps like Golmud or Nansha Strike where there's a lot of open space and you can sit defending one objective and still help your team by getting kills on another objective.
