When you get to marker post 37, turn right. Misses a very small single track to avoid a massive fire road.

Great video. Done that one a few times including as part of the Beast enduro race in 2019 (was brutal 😂). Yeh, the first time you go over those slabs is terrifying, but actually pretty easy after the first time. You didn't mention the chunky little drop off just after them. That's one you don't want to hit too slow.

Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. Would you recommend The Beast Enduro? I did the Antifreeze a couple of years back and that was pretty good (about three non stop hours in the saddle though😅).

@@bikeandbeyond Not sure if it's still going now, usually held in September. I did it a few times (used to be called Coed y Brenin Enduro before changing its name). Yeh, really enjoyed it but was tough. Was basically most of the Beast trial, with some nice little (bleak) off piste sections up on the top of the hill. Then drop all the way back to the Centre then back up the other side to the Slabs (that was a right leg burner). Only about 45km in total which doesn't sound too much but don't be fooled 😊. I haven't done it since before covid though so no idea if they still put it on.

45 min climb sounds like llandegla but you do that right out of the gate

@@MrAshes2ashno, I said 45km total distance of the ride. Though there are plenty of 45 minute climbs in there too 😊
