- The guys close out the 2023-2024 deer season with a trip up to camp for their annual last weekend of the season muzzleloader trip. Usually this trip is pretty relaxed and the focus is enjoying a fun weekend away rather than killing a buck. This year was a little different as Noah found himself in range of horns with hours left in the season to give him some last minute excitement!
Gear Used:
Traditions PA Pellet Rifle
90 grain 2F powder

Thanks for watching!
Good luck next season. I already can't wait.
That click has happened more than once
Yes! Those flintlocks can be tricky to keep in good shooting condition!
Do you hunt in Jefferson County? I live just down the road from Brookville
Yes Jefferson County is where our camp is!
Brookville fuel up at 80?? Sigel or Leeper or Marrianville?? Been hunting up that way my entire life
Sigel… we love it up there!
Where’s your camp?
Sigel PA!
@@MoreThanaHunt that’s what I thought. I’m on the other side of Brookville.
Not enough spark or the powders damp.
Flint was not sparking properly…had a handful of misfires back at camp after the hunt and had to hit the frizzen with some steel wool to get it throwing a good spark again. Live and learn!
I wouldn't waste my time with a frickin flintlock. Nothing but cold disappointment.
Haha I hear ya it can be frustrating for sure. We partly do it because we aren’t ready to get out of the woods. Sometimes we tote around the bow late season too!
