Before today, whenever I would try and figure out the show, my search would only lead to Veggie Tales, which I knew wasn’t right. Your video was hilarious, and I can’t believe I wasn’t traumatized by that mess when I was a kid. 😉 I’d buy Kitchen Kabaret merch on the dark web or wherever else it exists, so if you find it, please share!

Food Rocks was just absolutely one of the strangest and funnest shows they ever did. yes of course it was parody, cheap, and quickly done, but it was awesome. Still to this day when I hear these songs from the 80s it brings back fond memories of the songs in Food Rocks. Every time I hear Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer it becomes "High Fiber" in my mind and brings a smile. Same thing with "You gotta read the wrapper..." That was a great show to go in and just laugh so much because it was terrible but wonderful at the same time. It is absolutely one of the best things they've ever done. Not a single person I ever brought there didn't completely fall in love with it.

Kitchen Cabaret was a great, cute show at the time. I’m showing my age, but the message was accurate for the time. I was a kid at the time and my family and I have fond memories of the show. “Veggie fruit. Veggie veggie fruit fruit!” We still talk about it at times. And the different food groups featured were accurate for the early 1990. Things have changed since then, but I wish you had been simply more historical and less judgmental in this video. Long live EPCOT!

I owned a plush stuffed version of that broccoli at some point in my childhood. Sunglasses and everything. He was dope. 🥦🕶

The Beach Boys did have a bit of a renaissance in popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s thanks to their song “Kokomo” on the soundtrack to the Tom Cruise movie “Cocktail”.
