Thank you, folks, for coming to my channel 🥦🍅🥕🧀
We love you
There was a spin-off educational cartoon called "Harold and His Amazing Green Plants" animated by Kurtz and Friends. It starred the Broccoli, Eggplant, and Tomato and a little boy named Harold--it ran on the Disney Channel quite a bit. There was a similar spin off series for Wonders of Life, too.
Ooh that's interesting! Thanks for sharing
So well made! I loved Food Rocks as a kid! Great script, especially the line "The content had become SPOILED" 😂 🧀 🥦 🍅 🎶 🎵
😅 I'm glad someone appreciates all the puns in this one. Thanks for watching!
Nice pun there
Miss the fact I never got to see Kitchen Kabaret in person for myself. Closest thing EPCOT had to Country Bear Jamboree. Would have loved it I think :(
Thanks for preserving this by making a video on it! Happy late Thanksgiving! Take care! :D
Happy late Thanksgiving to you too! I never got to see it either, but Kitchen Kabaret seemed so warm and pleasant to experience. It fits right in with the laidback feel of EPCOT!
I saw it several times (I used to live in Florida), it was a fun show!!
A perfect Thanksgiving treat 😌
Thank late Thanksgiving ☺
This feels like it was made for me
I kinda wish it was still there
It would fit perfectly into the park through today, for sure 😞
@@StorybookAmusement As much as I like Soarin', a food show, fits The Land better, to go along with Living with the Land.
The last time I went to a Disney Park was back in 2002 when I was 13. My family saw Food Rocks. Even at the time, I thought the show animatronics looked cheap. Especially compared to animatronics of Kitchen Kabaret, judging from what I've seen in this video.
25:51 hehehehe. They won’t find me here. Hey look Lois! I’m in some guys video!!
Awh sweet. This is just like that time I was in some random theme park video!
I live too far away from Disney, and I'm a 2000s person, but Kitchen Kabaret looked so awesome! Food Rocks on the other hand, while I adore the concept, the execution is not so good [not helping matters is the Nestle sponsorship]. But honestly, I love anthromorphic food characters, there's something super charming about them. You can thank Will Vinton, amongst other, for my love of anthromorphic food. As much as I hate Mars as a company, I still adore the M&Ms characters, and I also really love The California Raisins. The Raisins kind of edge out the M&Ms as my favorite anthro food mascot due to being Claymation. There's something charming about Claymation that I think cannot be recaptured by any other animation style. Speaking of Will Vinton, he was going to make his own theme park called Claymation Station, but his financial issues prevented the park from opening. It's a huge shame, because I adore the concept of Claymation Station so much. Hey Storybook Amusement, have you seen the documentary Claydream? It's a really bittersweet story. I feel really bad for Will Vinton, he wanted to be like Walt Disney, but everything went wrong for him.
I have not seen that doc! I'll check it out!
how hard was it to write this script with this many food puns jdflsjflkd
Oh I stewed over it for a little bit
Veggie! Veggie! Fruit! Fruit!
Cha-cha-cha!
This is one of my favourite rides at DW, was it good when I was 13 and we went? Yeah, it was fine... but my dad sang "Veggie, veggie, fruit, fruit" for the rest of his life!
That song is an earworm in all the best ways!
Great job!
Thank you!
they did a battle of the bands once in 2021
Oh shoooooot you're right
Food rocks emerged victorious

Where did you get the soundtrack? without the crowd noise
Where did you get the Kitchen Kabaret instrumentals?
The one at the beginning is a cover by me. The show music in the middle of the video is publicly available if you search for the Kitchen Kabaret soundtrack.
The Sherman Brothers wrote and scored the show for the original kitchen cabaret
Hi there. May I ask where you got that info? Most sources (e.g., RetroWDW, sheet music, among others) cite Buddy Baker as the composer. Scott Hennesy personally confirmed he wrote the lyrics via The Tomorrow Society Podcast.
What's the background music at the start of the video?
That is a cover of Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit (from Kitchen Kabaret) by me made for this video
Why would they get rid of such a cool show!?! Geez I wonder what replaced it??😒
Okay fair enough….
I still think EPCOT should have built a Sky & Space Pavilion, with Soarin' & Mission: Space
You mean Food Rocks or Soarin'? 😅
I only saw this once and it was terrible. Just horribly written and sub-Disney design. The kind of thing you expect from a knockoff amusement park. Even my mother hated it. Second-worst attraction to Superstar Limo.
There are plenty of other worse attractions after superstar limo, trust me. Almost everything they make now is “subpar”.
